Awesome review and nice place. Care to share the settings you're using? The colors and resolution are awesome! Also Did you use Catalyst?

Hallo Steve. This is the best revue I’ve seen about a camera. I have also become a fan of my ZV-1 and I agree with your comments about the no and pro sides. I am 84 years old today and have worked as a TV-director since the sixties. Today You can travel around the world and do a documentary in 4K for a TV network with this little camera or even an iPhone. Of what I have seen here You must be a pro to “tell a story” in living pictures or You are born with that knowledge.
Keep filming and swingin’. Lennart Wetterholm Solna Sweden.

Nice to see an option to get away from wide angle while still at a lighter weight. Love that focus.

to fix the zoom sound, turn the zoom sleep to the slower setting. ulanzi/ external lens adapter can help increase the view tho.

I got one for I guess what you would consider home videos lol, and I love mine. The biggest issue I have with it is the stabilization (or lack of...it's very shaky sometimes) with the narrow crop, like you said, it is a bit disappointing especially since I got a camera like this so I could be in the frame more haha. But I deal with it okay most of the time. It is nice to not have to carry around my big photo camera with me all the time...even having a mirrorless (Nikon z6 2), once I add my 24-70 or 35 on it, it's pretty cumbersome!

hi , as an amateur , if i choose zv-1 over micro 4/3 or aps-c cameras , would i regret ? ( especially on photography)

Considering I can't line up video camera shots or hold them still, the Insta360 seems like a better option to fix everyhting I screw up in post.. preferably on a real comptuer, not a smartphone.

Which settings and mode do you use for filming?

Is zoom noise a significant issue for anybody? Is live zooming common? I’d have thought it’s better to zoom to set the view and leave it.

      That’s the workaround
