I love "Arlington". It holds a special place to me. First, I spent 2 ½ years in Arlington, laying officers and Airmen to rest as part of the USAF Honor Guard, and 2nd, I think I may actually be in that music video, as part of the USAF Firing Party. It's hard to tell though, because the clip is grainy, and only lasts a fraction of a second.

also i think the “natty in the styrofoam squeak squeaking in the truck bed all the way home” is referencing a styrofoam cooler filled with ice and his natural lite beer because a styrofoam cooler squeaks around when you drive with it in the bed of the truck. Just my thoughts.
Trace Adkins is the one who disappoints me most out of all of these because he's shown in his earlier music that he's capable of recording some really good songs and he has such a great voice. I was starting to think he was turning a corner with "Ain't That Kind Of Cowboy and "Heartbreak Song," but unfortunately it seems he's gone back to his badonkadonk ways. I really miss the Trace that did songs like "Every Light," "There's A Girl In Texas," "The Rest Of Mine," "Lonely Won't Leave Me Alone," "Don't Lie," "I'm Tryin'," etc. Even his lighter upbeat material in the past like "Thinkin' Thing," "I Left Something Turned On At Home," and "More" was a lot better, imo.

I just came here to nominate Sugarland's "Stuck Like Glue" because I had to listen to it at least 500 times while it was airing on radio and I nearly lost my sense of hearing. Come to think of it, it's actually the sole song that turned me off of country music for like, 10 years.

Grady, I discovered you by accident about 2 years ago as I love watching videos about music. My parents are form Europe, but her friend took care of me back in the 70s when my mom worked and she was from Alabama. She brought me up on Cash, Williams, Jones, Parton, etc. while her husband loved Bluegrass. Because of this will listen to country music on occasion, but find today's country music has little in common with what I listened to before. I will find the odd new song here and there that I like and I have turned to you for your insightful commentary. Thank you.
