Dorothy Lyman was a such a brilliant Actress. I still remember when as Gwen Parrish Frame on Another World she crashed The Yacht Party when Brava was celebrating 25 Years on The Air. She came unexpected and uninvited and along with her Nephew Evan Bates (Son of the Late Janice Frame) and talked smack about Rachel because she murdered her although of course it was self defense. At one point The Frames were a forced to be reckoned with and now they were a shell of their former selves and although Jamie was still on the Scene as a Doctor he wasn't an Architect like his Late Father Steve.

Remember how Angie Perrini was her Rival for Willis Frame's Love and on their Wedding Day Angie was so upset she "left". Then Maeve Kinkead left for Guiding Light as Vanessa Lewis. I had no idea that her Sister In Law is Meryl Streep.
Marcy Walker was so convincing as Liza Colby, that when she was in a Nighclub, two girls locked her in a Bathroom Stall and screamed at her to leave Jenny & Greg alone. Also can you imagine how hard it was for her when she said Jesse raped her and he didn't. I heard a story about guys who did 6 and 10 Years for Rape and they didn't do it. DNA wasn't around. One Lady was forgiven, the other lady was a College Student and she was scared at what her Parents would say so she lied.
Boyyyy!!! I remember this episode like yesterday!! When she said, "why don't you go up and get the gold chain, the expensive one with the big links!"...I was like Bro, you busted!!! That chain was nice but it also told on him. But I also remember something really bad happening to Liza after this like she was beaten up or sexually assaulted or something!!
Here's another fun fact. November 30th is the Birthday of Dick Clark of American Banstand who did The Soap Opera Digest Awards and The Daytime Emmy Awards as well. In 2002 Girls Aloud was introduced to the UK and became the most successful Reality Show Group in Pop Music. Three Of The Group Members made appearances on Soaps. Coronation Street and Hollyoaks I believe. Then on Guiding Light Phillip Finds out the Truth on August 29th 1983 which was Michael Jackson's 25th Birthday Three Months after Motown 25. Being raped, addiction, financial problems, etc. She even tried to sue the creators of Eastenders when she was recasted with Kim Medcalf. Is it true that The SFT Teens were the inspiration for Beverly Hills 90210.
I noticed the character's name was listed in the notes above as "Vera" so I Googled "Vera All My Children" and the actress's name came up as Grace Garland. I hope this helps. In the story I think she is helping Angie and Jesse find baby Frankie.

UK Soap Fans are just as fanatical. One former Cast Member on Coronation Street Ian Bartholomew was so convincing as an abusive Husband Geoff fans screamed at him and he had to go for therapy.
