Boy this episode was so heavy. So much action was going on in The Houses. Angie & Jesse with Their Baby, Liza finding out about Tad & Marian, then Tad going over to Marian's to talk, and if that isn't enough to beat the band, Enid Nelson & Olga Svenson are in cahoots to keep Greg & Jenny Apart.
That was done on Dick Clark's 54th Birthday and many of the acts who had Cameo Appearances on The Show also did American Bandstand. Gregory Abbott, Peabo Bryson, amongst others. In 2002 The most successful reality show Group called Girls Aloud in The UK were introduced to The UK Public.
Tad and Marian were two very stupid people. She always seemed to have a pattern of going after bad people. Zach Grayson, Jonathan Kinder, then found love with Stuart Chandler and then he dies. She goes to Prison for Murder, loses her Life Savings to a Ponzi Scheme, and ends up in a Psych Ward. Really depressing.
Oh Yes! You are right. I look at US Soaps and UK Soaps and when a Character "Dies", that's it they never come back. Yet UK Actors do it all, Soaps, Drama, Comedy, The West End (Aka Broadway). Also each year in November Eastenders do Performances to raise money for Children In Need where they Sing The Beatles, Motown, Grease, and most recently Les Mis.
@@DeepScreenAnalysisIf you can, check out Old School Episodes of Coronation Street & Eastenders in The UK. England went through a very rough time with unemployment. The Folks on Eastenders who lived in Albert Square that looks like Brooklyn/Greenwich Village all rolled into one went through some rough times but now man perservered.
Foxy's Reminds me of the Pilot Episode of Dallas when Pam & Cliff go to find Digger where she tells him she married Bobby Ewing. This is where Liza's Innocence ends and sadly enough she made Tad pay over and over for what happened.
Wouldn't it be something if it were discovered she was related to Singer Shirley Bassey. I look at alot of US Actors and wonder if they could be related to UK Actors.
Both Don Hastings and Ray McConnell got Honorary Daytime Emmys for their work at The Daytime Emmys several years ago.
Looking back, Ruth Martin really was in bliss. There's more stability with Dr. Joe Martin than with her First Husband.
Also Ray McConnell and Don Hastings both did The Edge Of Night before doing All My Children and As The World Turns.
Vera was mad cool. Loyal to a fault. Not like sneaky Yvonne, who tried to break up Jessie and Angie.

Love Foxys!😊

Actually as it turned out, Stuart wasn't really dead, and the two were reunited and given a happy ending!

One criticism I will say, the sets are pretty unimaginative. All the homes look alike. Y & R sets really are much better
The Bell soaps had better production values but the ABC soaps were more realistic.
