Deborah exposed nothing, the guy in white did it single handedly. This was a perfect pitch to dissuade willing investors to change their minds and not invest. The kind of guy you would not want to hire in any company!

I was instantly put off from the first two words of the presentation: "Dear Dragons..." They're not writing a letter! The native English speaker in that pair should have corrected his colleague beforehand. But worse than that, of course, is that their presentation doesn't tell ANYTHING about what the product is made of nor what chemicals it disintegrates into. I'm shocked that none of the Dragons demanded that information immediately. How foolish of everyone in that room.
the Aussies' shark tank understand the issues, raised, but they don't shy away from the R&D of the commodity is handed on a silver platter and the Aussies would still invest but at a higher % ,,,dutch dragons den, is about up and around one million Euros requests.
They got off really easy considering they came in with a flimsy licensing agreement and no proof of whether this bag is actually environmentally friendly.

Nothing wrong with being thorough 😅 and I feel like it’s better than what a lot of businesses do, which is prop up products just because they use nice buzzwords like “eco-friendly” or “carbon neutral” but don’t actually do anything to try and solve environmental problems…so I kinda respect the fact that she does her due diligence with this stuff

i think her point is that if you are going to be an eco friendly business it needs to be eco all the way and not just a selling point, so yes they should have known

If you claim to be eco you better know everything about carbon footprint or water use.
This is the issue with the world. People invent the eco friendly products and then there are the rich who find ways and tricks not to invest in it. The product is obviously better than plastic. What could go wrong with a 50k investment with all of them sitting with millions in their bank accounts? That's like a 5 euro for an ordinary person. Not to mention that they already made 1 million pounds turnover.
They didn't make millions by investing in any ol product, they invest in lucrative businesses otherwise, what's the point? It'd be great if they were purely driven by making the environment better but they're dragons, they're not.
for starters is 150K they want. Secondly these people didn't become millionaires by throwing away tons of money at whatever comes in front of them.
