Dr. B , is 5 session SBRT sufficient on two nodes (left and right posterior) of 4+3 GS (Negative CT and Bone scan) ? or is it necessary to include lymph node irradiation ? My father wasn't given lymph node irradiation ....
Hey DR B, I was hoping you could run an analysis for someone who is 43 who has a psa of 8, Gleason score 3+3 in 3 section and 3+4 in 1 section all on the right side of the prostate, doctor was not able to detect during rectal exam. I’m trying to decide between cyberknife and surgery. Thanks!
I have to ask, is this man being sponsored by cyberknife to basically endorse this procedure over surgery? I mean to me, there is only one choice after watching this. It also seems that a person can get treated again later on if the cancer returns. Anyone agree, or perhaps disagree?
I have no disclosures. (I am not sponsored by any corporation) I have been using a Cyberknife since 2005 and I like the technology. Now we have the PACE-B data to confirm these videos. Because the success rate is so high, I rarely have to retreat patients. However I have treated a few and they are doing great.
Hi Dr. Briant. Can I have an email address to contact you? I live overseas, so that's the best way for an initial contact. I am looking for a professional second opinion to help me decide among the options. Thank you in advance.
