Something I miss here in Portugal. As a boy I remember the bells of St Peter's in Hersham, and later several fine bell sets could be heard where I lived in Richmond upon Thames.
Very nice ringing - I look forward to ringing on these at some point in the near future (RWNYC maybe?) and seeing how they compare to Leeds! We occasionally ring Stedman Triples on the back 8 and it is certainly no mean feat!
@@simonbellringer Stedman is such a lovely method to listen too. Also I think they are some of Whitechapels finest peals of bells There some really nice peals in London, Jewry is one and St Olives Hart Street both nice Whitechapel 8s. The G&J 8 at Clerkenwell are real gems. It's sad to me Whitechapel closed, so much time spent either with dad or working there in school holidays. I can still smell the aroma of when bells were being cast.and the sound of the timing machine as it scraped metal of the inside of the bell. .

I was never a fantastic ringer, I just knew people ŵho were, many who are on peal boards at Bow like Wilfred Williams and Bill Cook etc etc.
What a cracking back eight. Tough bells but worth every effort. Well done.
Superb sounding bells

Gorgeous bells and beautiful ringing too!

I think these are probably the best sounding bells in the city and nice to hear the back 8 rang so beautifully to Stedman.
Steve, I knew this would be up your alley! They are certainly a smashing ring of bells, and a bit of Stedman just had to be done!
