Wow!!! That is unique to ring like that. In our band, we once turned around and faced the wall and rang rounds and did some call changes. It is very hard!!!!!
Well done to the 7 for getting it back when he missed the sally, and interesting to hear how the rounds disintegrated a little at the end after such excellent striking all the way through.
Excellent! But why the apology for the quality of the ringing at the start of the video? The striking during the changes is superb considering the circumstances. Most of us can only dream of ringing to this standard with our eyes open...
Great Performance ! Puts the achievement of our local Wolverhampton ringer Herbert Knight in perspective. First to conduct a peal of Stedman Triples whilst blindfolded. At Blakenhall (those rare James Barwell bells) on 12/10/1907.
Been ringing since 1966, never felt the need for sensory deprivation. Wonder what the bloke on the 7th would have felt like if his rope had caught 6 or 8. Hope you all have good life insurance, and some spare cash for the broken stays. Wonder what the CCBR thinks?
Good stuff . Actually the blind folds are not required, why not get everyone to turn around.Good ear training. I would ring the tenor that would be easier.

This is fantastic but I will never ring blind folded.
1:09 wow I didn’t know jasper carrot was a ringer 😂
There must be a few totally blind ringers around, have any blind peals been rung before?
