True, but some also cover easier to find bourbons. Matt seems to me to make a real effort to cover various, easier to find whiskies. If you notice, all his "specialty" drinks come from viewers who have greater access and/or financing. It's a vicarious experience of Matt's personality. lol I could mention another channel that generally covers common bourbons but it would be rude and ADHD Whiskey would strangle me to near death, like being *deathless*, and possibly put me down, like a *dog*.

If its a bottle or bottles your hunting for, keep hunting! The day before Thanksgiving I drove to Houston from Dallas, I spotted a shop 3 blocks away from my mother in laws. I went inside 2hrs later and spotted a bottle of McKenna 10 inside a glass case for retail price, I asked for it and spotted a Stagg Jr batch 16 next to it which priced was priced higher then retail but was only $100 which I was willing to pay. My wife bought the Stagg Jr for me and said Merry Christmas! Lol Keep Hunting

Not only was this NOT a sale, but every single bottle was absurdly overpriced (like as in 2-3x secondary). This same store wanted 600 for their RR13 when they got it. And because some person decided that was worth it, it sold which just encourages the retailer to do this again and again.
Loved this review man. When I reviewed mine I was absolutely shocked at how easy it was to drink as well as how much flavor that whiskey had. I honestly thought it was going to destroy my taste buds but I was wrong. One of my favorites so far this year without a doubt. Cheers WTWT!

I bought a couple of bottles of the JD Single Barrel Barrel Proof at 132.6 proof a few months ago. It's really great. I bet the Coy Hill is even more stellar.
My reaction to the nose was very similar to yours, just started smirking and laughing it was good lol I just did a side by side of C920 and it was incredible how much better the Coy Hill was, and C920 is one of my favorite pours.... The nose was deeper, richer, more burnt sugar. Palate deeper on the sugars, more oily, less ethanol (despite being 7 proof points higher). And finish longer and less drying... Just an incredible whiskey and experience all around!
I was fortunately to find a bottle of this Coy Hill at almost MSRP. Since I can't get my hands on any BTAC or Pappy, this bottle has to be my whiskey of the year. I love hearing your tasting and nose notes, I really get the grape thing once you said it.
I was able to score 2 bottles of Coy Hill last week. Unfortunately I had to have a friend get them for me since they were in a different city. I won't see them until Christmas so Marry Christmas to me. Matt your review has just made me want these bottles even more.
This is one of the best videos I've ever seen him do. Totally funny. I'm not sure if I'm ever going to get this bottle oh, but I can tell you that the Jack Daniels single barrel select Barrel proof is really delicious. And it is a high-proof already

The best deals i’ve found are BT @ £14 and WT101 @ 17. Bought whatever they had in stock.

I don't think I've seen Matt enjoy himself more than he did with this one. I watched this a couple times and he is firing on all cylinders in this video. If you need to know why it's worthwhile to watch this guy, the video gives you all the reasons you require. Lots of quotable lines in here.
Insane how wildly the barrels vary. I have one that is 143.2 proof, and I couldn't find a fruit besides the faintest banana to save my life. This beauty is nothing but wonderful custard and crème brûlée. On the palate it's like banana pudding with the nilla wafers and just a deep sweet barrel char on the finish. Of course, you have to get through the heat, but it's a damn tasty pout.
Jack Daniels Master Distillers Series Number 6 is one of my favorites right now Should love to get my hands on bottle of that Barrel Proof But I'm in Canada and I don't think it's going to make it up here
Dear Matt, why don't you consider to put a little bit of water (like 1-2 tbs) into your dram, at least for these kinds of proofy buggers? It would've probably revealed a lot more complexity that way, and would've probably lost a little bit of it's 'rocket-fuel' aspect.

WT101 is still better than a lot of whiskies that are 3-4X as expensive.
