I said no we don’t have any sperm discounts panicked and said oops sorry we don’t even have sperm here. She looked at me in the eyes and said honey, I’m 82 years old I have no use for sperm, that was 10 years ago. It is still the best response to a word blunder that I’ve had in my career. Maybe in my whole life in general. Woman was a quick witted legend!
I work at a vet practice, during COVID I told a client they had to wear a muzzle to the practice instead of a mask. (they had a dog which required a muzzle) one of the vets was sat next to me and fell of her chair laughing.
The thing I love about Toni is her language even floors other Aussies they’re just like “how the f**k did those words come out of your mouth in THAT order?”
In late August of 2023, I had a ‘gut feeling’ that something was not right in a region of my neck where I’d had minor surgery 10 years prior. I went to the doctor and he sent me to an oncologist. The specialist took my vague suspicion seriously and ordered a PET scan. It turned out to be pharyngeal cancer in its earliest stage, barely detectable even with the semi-magical imaging technology. Whenever I go in for a follow-up exam, I get the side-eye from the clinic staff as they struggle on a daily basis with the mysterious killer and then I just breezed in one fine day and said “Hey, folks, wouldja mind taking a look at this.”
There's so many people that get that gut feeling and get ignored or brushed off until it's too late, so I'm so happy for you that your Dr(s) took you seriously! Best wishes!
I felt a small mass in my boob at 20, and the echography technician was like "you realised it on your own? Nice!" 😂 well no, but at least we figured it wasn't cancer, just a inoffensive tumor that wouldn't spread.
I can't go a day without you guys!! You turn a bag day into a great day! I have a hair salon in Scottsdale, Arizona and all my clients are watching you! Love you two❤😂
