For those curious about the art restoration: the older a painting is, the more discoloured the varnish on top gets. And Toni & Ryan are right, it's also dust and smoke and stuff settling over the years. Conservators take the varnish off with solvent mixtures that they have tested on small portions of the painting so they know it'll only attack the varnish and not the paint.

There is a guy in the US who goes by the name 'Post 10'. He goes around to blocked drains and unblocks them, regularly generating whirlpools as big as his hands. His roads were clearing from massive floods and stalled vehicles to barely a drop in seconds. Very satisfying!
I adore that you had a Hoof GP clip in here. That dude is so passionate about cows and making sure they arent in pain. So they cant feel you slicing away at the hoof as its all keratin, like our nails. However, the pressure from the abscess itself gets released and then its basically immediate pain relief for the cow. Always find comfort in the fact they dont quite feel pain the same way as us, almost similar, but they can handle a LOT
I have 170 hours in that game 🤫It is SO satisfying, and calming! Great for when you just want to shut your brain off for a bit, and mayhem when you play with friends 😂

In the painting restoration they're removing a layer of varnish and then putting a new varnish that doesn't turn yellow as much as the old varnishes used in the past. It also contains dirt and dust accumulated over time.
Just FYI, the art renovation and restoration is not just removing dirt, tobacco tar etc, it's also removing old, yellowed varnish as well. It's an incredible process to watch. Baumgartner Restoration has a TH-cam channel if you love that stuff.

Most of these are ASMR. It doesn’t affect everyone, but it gives tingles and is so relaxing to those who are sensitive to it. My favorite was 1the second one, the crinkling crunchy one. Absolutely gives me tingly, shivery sensation.

It yellows over time, they clean it off using solvents that won't damage the paints and then revarnish it, It's super satisfying to watch in these sped-up videos but it can take weeks to do, they literally do it with q-tips! It takes so much patience lol And I think the material in the rollers is silicone. I'm like yall with the organization vids, I love watching them, I could never have the energy to do that. By the time I get home from the store, I'm lucky if I get everything put away that same day.

7:26, For the painting, artists use sealants to protect the paint, but a lot of sealants yellow or dull with time, making the painting look dirty. So the restoration is safely removing the sealant without disturbing the original paint, and adding more, new sealant(hopefully one that won't yellow as bad). If the painting is chipped or cracked from age, the painting would be restored with paint matching the colors and materials as closely as possible. You can even repair canvas rips.
I have a friend who has a similar set up to the video with the cereal and snacks. She is a foster parents for emergency cases and fast placements. She said it helps when the kids staying with her have food insecurities and it allows them to have access to it with them feeling bad for opening/finishing food boxes and stuff. Just thought I’d put that out there obviously some people just like to have it set up that way tho.

The art restoration is removal dirt that is on top of an embedded in the varnish on top of the oil-based paint. All of that has to be removed without compromising the oil based paint below. Then in isolation layer of synthetic varnish is added (synthetic varnish doesn't yellow like natural varnish) and then an archival grade paint is used over the areas of loss to make the painting whole again. The original masterpiece underneath the isolation layer is not permanently altered. It's a fascinating process.
Btw those rug videos, some are real but the ones where the rugs are literally black or they’re full of mud etc., they’ve made them that dirty just so they can clean them for the video
