Much of the movie's humor revolves around the filling out and filing of ridiculous amounts of paperwork. So much paperwork, that it prevent the government from functioning at all. Also, the moment the employees in the Records Department think the boss isn't watching, they start screwing off.
This movie and hourglass sanitarium have a similar vibe and honestly love the way nothing makes much sense and perfect sense at the same time for both films 📼
I always think it's incredible to see what people thought the future of information technology would look like before the invention of the microprocessor.
You have a slight technical problem with your video. It plays like a disk turning at 110% speed or something. You can tell the starting pitch of the music is higher than it should be.
