Lol....he just cant beat that arm wrestler. Im an arm wrestler myself...and people that are gym strong, are not necessarily strong at arm wrestling. I train for arm wrestling myself, but im only 135 lbs. I likely would have won as well, because im strong at arm wrestling. I just arm wrestled someone bigger than the guy in this video, just yesterday at work (its on my page), and crushed him, of course. He is 235 lbs, and so 100 lbs heavier than me.

Its not technique or strength, its just random for some reason. In my class I lift 6 TIMES the weight someone else does in the gym but he always beats my in arm wrestling. My right arm loses to half the people despite being the strongest in class, but my left arm easily beats everyone else. Idk how. You can outlift someone thats new to arm wrestling and they still beat you at it. Also guy 1 can beat guy 2, and guy 2 can beat guy 3, and guy 3 can beat guy 1. It just doesnt make sense.
It is technique and strength. You must have good and right technique, and you must train the muscles that are responsible for performing that technique. Some people have better genetics and those muscles which are not usually trained in every day activity and in the gym are naturally stronger, so they can win more often. And for your last point, styles make matches. One example is how the kingsmove counters hook, the hook counters press, and the press counters kingsmove. It all depends on your style when the match is close.
