Yes. I already had a near-mint replacement and people are triggered by this video but it's alright. It looks better than before I started. Plus we are all students till the end. Most would have just tossed the dial but I turned a ruined dial into a red dial.
Some dials are far beyond any capability of being restoring back to the original. Some people search for replacements and spend too much. I found a whole replacement watch with a mint dial that only needed a service. That left me with this. Something nobody would wear. This post triggered people badly and it's alright. Now I have two watches I would wear. Yes the dial does look like zombie steampunk and I like the finish results. The way I look at it is a watch that doesn't spend decades in a drawer and actually has wrist time is a good thing.
To watch me draw. I ment nothing against the watch. I just found it interesting the manner you achieved the finished product. As a matter of fact. I too would enjoy it in my collection. I intend to use one of my derelicts in much the same way. Again I meant nothing against the watch.
@@Nightwind755 I know. That's why I put a heart on your comment. The SEIKO 6106-7470 JDM SS 5ACTUS is one of my favorite vintage Seiko watches. My other video about this model that I lucked out in getting is a much better-conditioned watch, but because I found one that was "in every way better condition" I wanted to make a blood-red dial. This paint pen accomplished that lol. I might even give it another go by removing the inducies and logos and giving it another go. I truly loved the color of the dial and the effect. It truly looks like blood. Thanks again for your comment. Here is my other 6106-7470 JDM SS 5ACTUS that I made a video about that have far less views because the dial is original and pristine. th-cam.com/video/7cfmY0BpZgM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=VYitnUj5S4UwbVuw
This is definitely not how this is supposed to be done.
No it is not lol
So this is how the eBay Seikos from India are designed! Awesome!
Cool, you made a bad looking dial look worse.
Amazing, this watch looks very luxurious
Absolutely state of the art... Isn't it...? 😅
My eyes..
WOW....AMAZING..!!!!
Das ist Wuschbar 😮
Well tried. Well now atleast we know "HOW NOT TO PAINT A WATCH DIAL"

Interesting...I didn't know that you could turn a wristwatch into a zombie. I would say steampunk. I would probably get death threats though.
