“We are all broke.” 100% correct!!! Great video, liked the content. 👍💯🔥
Thanks! 😂
I started with Brian's Skyline and Dom's Charger.
I started collecting speed champions sets in 2016 and it’s by far my favourite Lego theme just for the amount of realism on each car (especially the 8-stud wide models)
Just wait till you’re all caught up and buying after market cars. I’ve got 77 different eight wide cars, and no space for a single new one. But I will make space.
Good man
My advice, choose cars wchich have less stickers, and headlights and backlights are are actually transparent bricks. Then collect the rest.
Same for me.
I am starting to take my speed champions sets more seriously rather than just sets I have collected from friends and family, I am starting to really appreciate the techniques and sets.
Yeah, it's quite the fun hobby!
I remember getting the Toyota GR Supra set as a first Speed Champions set and i have to say that the interior wasn't the best but the building techniques alone complemented the lack of interior details. It was awesome.
Love this line I've just built the F40 and Countach which are the GOATS for me then the dark horse and Mclaren F1 I also like the GT Lambo the olive green colour grows on you I hope its one line Lego don't discontinue
My first Lego car was the lotus evija. Definitely have to go with a solid color car first, it was a good experience
I LOVE the Speed Champions sets- some of the discontinued sets can get pricey (paid $65 for my Audi Quattro- the old one- NOT the E-Tron). Have all the 8-wides, a few 6 wides- my big problem is shelf space at this point
@jimcurt99 awesome! I'm working on getting all the 8 wides from 2022 and on, but I've still got some work to do!
Another thing I love about speed champions is making alt builds or Mocs with them, especially the mustang pack lots of opportunities for customization
Yep, the world of mocs and alt builds is a super cool place!
I complained about the price changes but I went back and looked at the old vehicles and to be honest I don’t mind paying g the extra $10 I feel like a lot more is packed in for $10 more than what u think compared to those old 6 stud cars
@memeseller1706 the price increase is a shame, but it is true that speed Champions has come a very long way!
Bro you are gaining some traction! Good job
Thanks!
My first speed champions was that ferrari and its a great beginner car because its got great and beginner friendly building techniques but it unfortunatly isnt very known it was overshadowed by the porsche rsk which looks almost the same
Yeah, it's a great car, but unfortunately, it isn't known to history very much.
+1 the 512M is a great design and build
Love the video bro💯 keep em coming
Thanks!
I just buy cars that i like and skip the ones I dont care for. Im up to 35ish, including 9 6 stud cars. I plan to mount all of my cars on my wall in the future, i have 43 vehicle sets (50 total cars, 7 2pk speed Champions)
@brysonrodden5112 nice, keep building the army!
I want to get dom’s charger, and I want to tune it, and then I will be happy.
I also want to get the Lamborghini Countach
You can get the countach for super cheep at Walmart right now!
I have 14 cars and I started in June 2024. I still have three cars to build.
Keep on building!
fun fact: i have bought every speed champions set (not racers)
Dang! I have most of the 8 wides, but not all.
Yoo can you send me a rim of the Lamborghini because I lost that piece please w vid
@@JidionDaveds well I can't just give you one, but you can find it on bricklink.com
Considered to buy Brian's R34 like a year ago and now I'm left with round about 35 Cars and only 3 Retired Double Packs from Ebay until I have all of the 8 stud wides
Dang! That's about how many I have too. Keep on having fun!
damn bro same i got the r34 last december and that was my first speed champion car and then my interest in cars got bigger and decided to buy more speed champions and now i got 7 cars
I don’t have time to watch this rn but I will tomorrow
Update: I watched it and by the way, I already got my first speed champions said, and it was the Jaguar duo
That one's awesome, I'm pretty sure it has the only Formula E car that we've ever gotten!
I have pretty much all the sets to date. All the 6 and 8 stud wide the new 2024 sets are on pre order as we speak. Love the speed champions.
@YENALEDNHOJ dang! Sounds like your a serious collector!
My first one was the mclaren elva, i didnt like this lego cars before because they looked so weird being only 6 studs wide. But when i got the elva as a gift i realized the level of detail of the car. And here i am with almost almost 20 cars.
Same, I loved the 6 wide McLaren Senna, but the Elva just offered a new level of detail.
It’s quite funny to hear complaints about the way the cars are built. You should check out the way cars were built in the 1980s in Lego.🤣
spent so much money on these cars. only regret is not starting sooner and getting some of the discontinued sets
@@tropicalmango119 dude, I've spent over 400 dollars on these cars, and I'm happy I did!
They have them on eBay after a higher price sadly I’ve only had to buy two off eBay tho thankfully
@@thatsGQ the only downside is im not a big fan of the 6 stud ones. I still wanna add them to my collection tho bcuz im an addict 😮💨
@@tropicalmango119 I’m only doing the 8 wide since they look better 🤣
@@tropicalmango119 admission is the first step in buying more 😂😂😂😂
Money pitt
But it's a fun money pit
