I have been watching this channel over a year. I learned so much. I bought a 2017 Toyota Tundra last March. 2 weeks later I have 4 1/2 inch BDS on 20/10 33/13 , bushwhacker fenders flare. 3 weeks ago I installed ADD stealth fighter bumper, Go Rhino sports bar n Bak X4 bed cover. Bad ass looking truck Thanks to this channel.
I got a 3” leveling kit from rough country. And they do give upper control arms. And they include the spacer blocks for the rear. And front and rear shocks and torsion keys. I guess it depends on what truck u have. It cost me around $750 and made my duramax look really nicr
I've heard from local shops that you are able to use a 2" levelling kit with a 3" lift kit to get 5" lift - is that the case? lifting from the strut and with a block?
just got a 04 avalanche 4x4 and has factory suspension with bags in the rear. im looking to add a small lift to the truck to get rid of the factory air ride in the rear so i can go off-roading possibly in the fall with better tires (33s or 35s). since it's my 1st working truck i just wanna be a bit more responsible with the choices out there w/o any issues
I have a 2015 ram four wheel drive that I'd would just like to level. I am considering front spacers but have been told something like Bilstein 5100's would be a better option. I do not off-road and truck will barely even see gravel. Im considering going with spacers for that reason but would like a more professional opinion. By the way your videos are awesome! Keep up the great work!
Love this video I recently found out that, I have a lift kit in front and a leveling kit in the rear but; it’s not even. Front is way higher by like 2-3”.
Typically the whole assembly would give you better ride quality but the spacers still get the job done! Check out our suspension kits here! customoffsets.com/suspension
This is helpful, I got 3" in the front of my Tahoe, so I need a 1" spacer. Easy. Level and effectively lifted 3 inches. Too broke for anything else lmao.
So can you put leveling spacers in the back too, let's say for a supercar like a lambo and just get a bigger tire as well cause some countries have horrible roads and plenty speed bumps ?????
I recently bought a 2019 Tundra Crewmax Limited. It’s my daily commuter. I don’t plan to do a bunch of off road. I would occasionally like to tow a Travel Trailer. I wanted to change the factory shocks with TRD Pro Fox Shocks, not sure if I should get the coil over with reservoir. I think a leveling kit is best but I wonder the just changing the shocks with add the lift I want.
Could you make a video of "What is a Lift Kit?"... Like the essentials in regards to Jeeps specifically?... Long Arms, Short Arms, Budget Lift Kits (Seen some on Zone Offroads Page for about $600 that are a bit more then just pucks, but confused about the others that are $1200 and up).... Pretty much, a video of What Are Lift Kits for Jeeps made of....? What parts give these lifts the "Flex" over rocks and obstacles on the trails? Are there better or worse Brands?... From XJs to ZJs to Wranglers.... Thanks in advance, I don't want to be confused anymore 😎👌🏻🙂
It doesn't answer the question of what should be done to the rear of a stock truck when doing a 2.5" coilover to the front. Do you replace the rear shocks? Add spacers to the rear? Leave the rear stock?
when people do coilovers in the front with a 2.5" lift, like Fox king Icon Bilstein etc, usually they add a little something to the rear like a lift block or add-a-leaf to keep it level or a tad higher in the rear. Rear shocks are usually always upgraded/changed when doing front coilovers, most brands have matching rear shocks. You dont want awesome shocks in front and be limited by your rear shocks
Keep pumping out vids Guys!! Us Floridians want y’all to make money on TH-cam so that you can do giveaways!! I have a lift kit on my truck. It supposed to be a 3 inch lift kit, but it's not leveled the way he explained it. The rear is still taller than the front by at least 2 inches. How do I make the front come up higher without taking the rear blocks out?
SPECIAL REQUEST.. Can you guys do a video on Kelderman Air Suspension Systems? Seriously contemplating on a 8”-10” lift for my Superduty but pretty much all the videos i can find are just guys showing them off. I want the Pros and Cons from the boys at CustomOffsets..
Great video. Hey I have a 2018 f150 and I'm planning to get a 2 inch leveling kit but I'm also planning on towing a travel trailer ( can I install air bags on the back to keep it level ) thanks for your time keep up the good work.
if you're looking for more articulation you're going to want to get into actual offroading oriented setups, long travel/mid etc etc! for rears, you can get a few companies that sell leafs. Deaver is one of the more popular
look up rough country they r a little cheaper than bds and the higher up brands and I think they r good quality that’s what I have on my 96 f150 it’s a 6inch setting on 20x12 wrapped in 35x12.50x20 toyo mt I actually think it rides better then when it was Just leveled plus I get all kinds of attention in it
I have a 2018 GMC Sierra all terrain. All stock .. I want to install a 2.5 level . Would that be okay and not stress my components much ?? Minor back trails. Nothing serious .. ??
Yeah unfortunately with a vehicle that old usually its pretty slim picking if anything is still available. Your best bet would be a custom fabricated lift kit just so everything is made to fit correctly for that truck!
I keep hearing different opinions about the "ride" in reference to coil vs leveling/spacers. Can you explain the technical affect on the "ride" or smoothness of drive. I plan on putting all terrains on a 2020 tacoma.
Just got a 2018 Expedition. Most of the looks I like are 3” ready lift kits. My concern is the stress to surrounding components and ride? Daily driver, mostly on road but want a nice stance and aggressive tires. Any advice or thought? Thanks.
Typically if its a 4wd we recommend that you get a differential drop bracket with a lift kit over 3". But you can also check out our gallery and see what others have on their Expeditions to give them stance! customoffsets.com/gallery
Hello not sure if you have answered this I have a 2012 Ford escape I want to raise it by like 2 inches in the front and rear so I get a little more ground clearance when towing how would you go about this i have been trying to research and just don't really get it still learning all this stuff I believe it sits on the same frame as the ranger,
Correct me if I'm wrong Between all the mods in suspension and/or chassis lifting or leveling; won't the alignment of the drive train of any brand vehicle need to be realigned compared to coming from the factory being on spec? I've been thinking just recently of either "lifting/leveling" out my Taco but yet don't want to suffer mpg due to having any of the chassis or suspension compromised by the aftermarket mods. I've seen some cool ass looking Tacos around me that're lifted/leveled out but wonder how the installation and/or realignment is done. Thank you in advance for the response whenever you guys respond.
alignment is easy with most kits. If you're talking driveshaft angle, there's carrier bearing spacers that get used to correct that angle on taller lift kits
What about a 2.25 level from ReadyLift? Considering putting it on my 14’ Silverado but am worried about the long term effects if there are any major ones I should consider
Hey there! Where are you guys located? I wonder if you guys have a shop in Asheville, NC area. I own a 2004 Toyota 4runner 2wd. I'd like to lift it up, I've been thinking on spacers to lift it (2.5 to 3 inches on front), but after the explanation it makes sense brother, I'd like to install the whole package, 6 inches front, 4 inches rear, plus rims and tires, let me know about any shop around the area. Thanks in advance. Good job with your videos.
Hey Kevin, our only location is in Appleton, WI unfortunately. Here are the available suspension kits for your 2wd 2004 Toyota 4runner on our website! www.customwheeloffset.com/store/suspension?year=2004&make=Toyota&model=4Runner&drive=2WD
@@CustomOffsetsTV thanks so much, I see is free mount! It's about 13 hours away, I'm a truck driver that's nothing for me lol, thanks so much brother, I'm interested in installing the 440,00 dollars kit (3 inches). We keep in touch! Thank you very much. Also, Do you have tires in your shop? 275 65 17 bfgoodrich all terrain T/A KO2. All the best for you guys. I'll see you!
Quick question since a lift kit will level your truck just like a level kit will would you prefer to just buy a lift kit since it comes with more components for your truck unlike a level kit? They are around the same price point rite?
Hi. I have a 2004 Dodge 2500 with the hemi. I was wanting to put a 2in. Block on the rear and a 3in. Spacer in the front. Would i have to replace the shocks and struts for longer ones?
I have a 99 Dodge Ram 1500 with a 5 inch bds lift with the leaf package. I kept the stock block under the leafs and the back is sitting slightly higher in the rear. How could I make the truck level?
I have a quick question... I got a 6 inch rough country lift kit. But we put new leaf springs on the truck and now the front end is lower than the back end. What should I do to level the front end with the rear?
sometimes you can get a lifted strut for the front, instead of the factory ones, to gain another inch or two on the front. Or put a taller spacer there than what RC already uses (not advised).
If I leveled my truck with a 3.5 lift/level kit with new UCAs but replaced the spacer, coil and strut with a 3.5 coilover, I should still be fine running the lift?
I put bigger tire on my 09 dodge ram 2500 and they are rubbing the fender well when I make sharp turns would a leveling kit fix that or do I need a lift
Thinking of goin with the 2 inch RC top strut spacer kit.what kind of angles would i have on that setup and would a 1.5 kit be a lot better as far as angles go?truck is a 2021 silverado rst 4x4 Thanks man great video!!
whether a 1", 1.5", or 2" leveling kit on that truck wont make any significant impact on the CV angles. We actually just installed the bilstein 5100s and rancho quicklift on our own 2020 silverado rst to compare each leveling option
Debating lifting to have the height with a little of the stoke rake for gas efficiency … instead of the level, which will make the truck burn fuel alot more
A suspension lift would be ideal but if you are just doing some mild off-roading a spacer kit should be just fine! Check out our suspension kits here if you are interested in an upgrade! customoffsets.com/suspension
great info, a question...What is better overall for your truck? I plan on keeping my truck for years and I just want to do a 3-4" lift or leveling on my 2013 Ram 1500 4x4 quad cab.
It really all depends on a variety of factors, to get a more informed answer hit up our experts at info@customoffsets.com and they can try to help ya out man! 🤟🤟
I have a 2001 Ford Excursion 7.3 diesel 2-wheel drive looking to raise at 3 inches either by leveling or suspension lift but cannot find any for 2-wheel drive diesels please help also looking to put 35 inch tires or bigger
Looking at doing 2021 tundra I like to still have a little bit of rake not sure what would be the best thing to do ? Don’t want to put big tires on maybe abit wider but like the front to be abit higher but don’t want level
Ive been watching ur channel since january when i got my first truck i got a 2007 NBS crewcab silverado i think its time to level my truck ive dont alot of research and im undecided if i should get the rancho quicklift front shocks and rancho Rsx9000 on the rear or the pro comp 2.25 leveling kit that included both upper and lover spacers so my cv angles would not be stressed which would you recommend thanks for the help:)
Tough call, both good choices! If you had to choose between the 2 i would go with the Pro Comp kit because it is a little more friendly especially on the angles and you would also get some good ride quality out of it as well
So I've heard both sides of the arguments. I want to get about a 8" lift on a silverado 1500. I was told it would be cheaper to get a 5 inch suspension lift and 3 inch body lift? What's your opinion on this type of setup?
Budget question. I have a 2020 4x2 Tundra. Is it possible to just install a 6" spacer with a drop upper control arm w/o changing the knuckles & shocks ???
I have a 2017 Tacoma. Would I need any additional parts if I'm lifting higher than 3 inches? I keep hearing how you need to install relocation brackets and drop brackets but I'm not really familiar with what that is can anyone explain or is there a video on that?
if you go 3" or higher on the front shock tower, its advised to get new upper control arms for alignment, and to allow for the full cycling of the suspension while offroad.
Here are the leveling kits we have available for your 2012 Toyota Tacoma 2wd! www.customwheeloffset.com/store/suspension?sort=popular&year=2012&make=Toyota&model=Tacoma&drive=2WD&sub=Leveling%20Kits
It will raise the front of your truck to level it out but the rear may remain the same depending on the kit. Check out our leveling and suspension kits here! bit.ly/2XRXDCA
If I do a 2 inch leveling kit I know that may have it ride rougher in the front due to the shocks are there a different type of shock you reccomend to compensate for the 2 inch lift or not to make it ride smoother when you hit bumps
Hey Fuller, question for you, I've got a 2019 ram rebel new body style with a 3 inch tuff country level kit from les Schwab. Would 35 inch Toyo open country tires rub? I would be using the factory 18 inch wheels. Thanks, and your videos are great.
2012 z71 with 2 RC level kit, just bought 20×10 with -19 offset and mounted 33 12.50 20 toyo open country at2 extreme. Can i add a 3 inch front and 2 inch rear level kit to gain the clearance i need to eliminate rubbing? Or do i need to remove the 2 inch RC?
Check out our gallery on our website and see what others have gotten to fit on their 2012 Chevy including the rubbing and trimming info aswell! customoffsets.com/gallery
Brooks Hardy I lifted my 96 f150 knowing the front end was getting loose the truck is pushing 200k and runs like a top I did the lift which is 6in on 20x12 wrapped in 35x12.50x20 drove it about 2-3 months and had the front end completely rebuild that’s really the only thing I worried about. U joints and bearings can go out but that’s smaller things to not worry so munch about Just keep an eye on everything and do regular maintenance and you’ll be just fine
When you lift dealers stock trucks with 6inch+ lift do you also change their gear ratios?. I want a 6 inch bds coilover lift w/ 35in tires on my 2018 silverado 1500 but it has a 3.08 gear ratio, I've read it's not recommended due to stressing out the tranny . What do you guys suggest?
Eljefe Barbon I have a 96 f150 with a 6in lift setting on 20x12 wrapped in 35 Toyo mt I notice a drop in power but it’s not that horrible to me I’ve ran it for about 5-6 months now and it’s just fine I even tow a 32 foot trailer around a good bit so if it was going to go out I think it would with that. Being said I don’t romp around with it though
I recently purchased a 95 1500 that I plan on working on and I plan on putting a 3 inch lift on and it’s lower in the front and everyone is telling me twist the torsion keys and then put a lift on but wouldn’t that make it squat ??🤔 I’m new at this
What if I want to level my truck 3-4” in the front but not the back I have a 2017 ram 1500 4x4 and it’s hard to find lift kits I’m tryin to keep the geometry good don’t want to stress to much
Anything over 3" we recommend a kit with a differential drop to avoid bad angles. Take a look at the kits that work for your 2017 ram 1500 4x4 here! www.customwheeloffset.com/store/suspension?year=2017&make=Ram&model=1500&drive=4WD
I emailed you guys im trying to go with the leveling kit just to slap on bigger tires on my tundra xsp 2006 original enkei 20’. Keep it nice stockish & give it a. Leveled aggresive look. You guys have a tundra 2006 with some bill stein shocks i believe what you think bout those? And should i get it with the shocks? Front & rear
I have a 2016 Dodge Ram 1500 V8 and was going to go ahead with a lvl kit just so I can go with a little bit bigger of a tire... so should I be adding in the cost of putting new control arms and everything else that will be stressed out because of the lvl kit? Or can you get away with what’s there
Young, motivated, knowledgeable individuals keep up the good work and awesome videos. You're helping a lot of truck owners new and old.

Thanks again guys

Wow! 100% doing that very thing right now

Same here 🙋🏻♂️
Breaks it down nicely. Much better understanding of things after watching a few videos from these guys 👍🏼
This explains why my rough country lift went up 4” rear and closer to 6” in front. Thank you
Question : Which is better, lift blocks or Shackles? What's the advantages and disadvantages of these two?
Either is fine if you're just looking to get the job done.
I've heard from local shops that you are able to use a 2" levelling kit with a 3" lift kit to get 5" lift - is that the case? lifting from the strut and with a block?
I’m not very knowledgeable about this stuff but that sounds like a bad idea, prolly just get a 5 or 6” lift kit instead of that
I choose leveling kit..
just got a 04 avalanche 4x4 and has factory suspension with bags in the rear. im looking to add a small lift to the truck to get rid of the factory air ride in the rear so i can go off-roading possibly in the fall with better tires (33s or 35s). since it's my 1st working truck i just wanna be a bit more responsible with the choices out there w/o any issues

Bilstein would be better, but if you aren't going off road or anything you'd be fine with spacers
Mono tube vs twin tube shocks would be a good informal episode.
we've got a couple videos on that topic if you want to take a look, cheers
Love this video
I recently found out that, I have a lift kit in front and a leveling kit in the rear but; it’s not even. Front is way higher by like 2-3”.
When leveling your truck, which is a better option, a common spacer or a shock lift assembly such as the Bilstein 5100 shock?
Typically the whole assembly would give you better ride quality but the spacers still get the job done! Check out our suspension kits here!

Would you recommend rough country’s shock assembly, or is there a better product for around the same price?
I was just literally confused by all of this but thank you for clearing it up

reservoirs are overkill unless you're doing a good amount of offroad, otherwise most people cant tell a difference between non reservoir.

I've noticed leveling kit spacers make a clunky noise , i don't like it

That is personal preference, search forums to see what you would prefer!
Is a 3/2 leveling kit for a Toyota Tacoma bad for the suspension?
No it is not! 🙏🏻
Installed a 3in motofab leveling kit on my 15 Sierra z71 any recommendations for upper control arms?

Are there lift kits that increase wheel travel or do i need a mid/long travel conversion? What are optuons for leaf springs in the rear?

Doing a 3inch lift on my 2020 siverado 2wd any recomendations in liftkits?
BDS, Mcgaughys, ICON etc. There are many good options!
Do a video on your thoughts on Tuff Country lifts. I've been looking at one of their 3 inch lift with an add a leaf spring kit.
look up rough country they r a little cheaper than bds and the higher up brands and I think they r good quality that’s what I have on my 96 f150 it’s a 6inch setting on 20x12 wrapped in 35x12.50x20 toyo mt I actually think it rides better then when it was Just leveled plus I get all kinds of attention in it

You will definitely have better ride quality with Coils vs leveling/spacers!
I'm getting a 2" leveling kit for my fj so I can fit 33's. Im just doing this for until a can afford a true lift kit..
2013 Ford f150 6-in rough country lift came with the 5-in rear block doesn't give you an option for 4-in block

To our knowledge none of our manufactures make a kit for an Escape, might be stuck with eBay!
Correct me if I'm wrong

What about a 2.25 level from ReadyLift? Considering putting it on my 14’ Silverado but am worried about the long term effects if there are any major ones I should consider
Not really any long terms effects but all suspension mods will cause extra wear and tear!
Do you think if I put a 3 inch level on a Silverado and put a new better upper control arm in, it will be safe and more reliable?
Yes it doesn't hurt to replace old parts that will wear eventually!
I got 4 inch lift and bags on the back of my 14 Chevy 2500, I get level when I’m not towing but I’ll lift in the back when I’m carrying a trailer

Lift kits and leveling kits will vary drastically depending on what you get, what size etc.
Can you off-road with just a 2.5 level kit , NorCal mod and 33 inch tires ? For Silverado 08
Jumping ditches not included just mud climbing and maybe hitting some dunes
What leaving kit do you recommend for a suspension with the magnetic ride component?

Hi. I have a 2004 Dodge 2500 with the hemi. I was wanting to put a 2in. Block on the rear and a 3in. Spacer in the front. Would i have to replace the shocks and struts for longer ones?
You should be alright, but it wouldn't hurt!
Hey like your video on leveling vs lift kit. I have a 99 dodge cant decide
It is all personal preference man!
I have a 99 Dodge Ram 1500 with a 5 inch bds lift with the leaf package. I kept the stock block under the leafs and the back is sitting slightly higher in the rear. How could I make the truck level?
Try removing the block Kyle!
Custom Offsets thank you!
I did 3" spacer to the front and 2" to the rear on my Chevy Silverado 2015 Z71 but I feel it is not comfortable..
It has rancho struts and shock
I know the higher you go the more stress on parts but would a two inch level really put stress on stuff
Anything other than factory will cause a little extra wear and tear!
Check out our gallery on our website and see what other people have done to make bigger tires fit on their Dodge ram 2500!

Thinking of goin with the 2 inch RC top strut spacer kit.what kind of angles would i have on that setup and would a 1.5 kit be a lot better as far as angles go?truck is a 2021 silverado rst 4x4
Thanks man great video!!
whether a 1", 1.5", or 2" leveling kit on that truck wont make any significant impact on the CV angles. We actually just installed the bilstein 5100s and rancho quicklift on our own 2020 silverado rst to compare each leveling option
@@ShockSurplus ty!went with the rc 2 inch top spacer and the angles look great!!
so why is some trucks that are lifted have a factory rake. I like that bulldog look in the front like I have now on my truck.
Just depends on what block you opt for for the rear!
So what do you all recommend for a lift. I still want the bulldog look.
Debating lifting to have the height with a little of the stoke rake for gas efficiency … instead of the level, which will make the truck burn fuel alot more
So would a spacer leveling kit do ok when off-roading or should I get a suspension leveling kit?
A suspension lift would be ideal but if you are just doing some mild off-roading a spacer kit should be just fine! Check out our suspension kits here if you are interested in an upgrade!

I wanna level my 06 Silverado with 2in front spacers... would I need to replace anything after doing that?
Shouldnt have to! Everything you would need should come in the kit!
Custom Offsets okay thanks!
What 2" leveling kit would u recommend for a 2019 Silverado RST Z71? What better spacer on top or bottom
Hey Bill, send an email to info@customoffsets.com and they should be able to help you figure out which kit would work best for you!
great info, a question...What is better overall for your truck? I plan on keeping my truck for years and I just want to do a 3-4" lift or leveling on my 2013 Ram 1500 4x4 quad cab.
It really all depends on a variety of factors, to get a more informed answer hit up our experts at info@customoffsets.com and they can try to help ya out man! 🤟🤟

I watch more now that Fuller does the videos👍🇺🇸👊 sorry Shawn
Looking at doing 2021 tundra I like to still have a little bit of rake not sure what would be the best thing to do ? Don’t want to put big tires on maybe abit wider but like the front to be abit higher but don’t want level
Body vs Suspension lift kit please!
body lift gets you 1-3" keeps same ride quality. suspension, gives you actual ground clearance/possible better ride.
Hard to say, email info@customoffsets.com so our experts can help!
If I’m just leveling the front to be level with the stock ride height in the rear of my Tacoma will it affect the life span of the truck?
It may cause extra wear and tear in the future but you would be fine! 🙏
is it ok if the back of my truck has a 2inch lift..but my front is on stock.?
Totally fine
So A 2" leveling kit should be alright? Not putting too much stress
Correct!
I have a 2012 xterra and I’m looking to add 33’s front and rear, should I use a lift kit for front and rear or spacers front and rear

Doing and ICON Stage 5 suspension lift kit for my 19 Tacoma TRD Off-Road.
How much was it I’m about to buy a 2021
I have a 2017 Tacoma. Would I need any additional parts if I'm lifting higher than 3 inches? I keep hearing how you need to install relocation brackets and drop brackets but I'm not really familiar with what that is can anyone explain or is there a video on that?
if you go 3" or higher on the front shock tower, its advised to get new upper control arms for alignment, and to allow for the full cycling of the suspension while offroad.
i have 2012 2wd toyota tacoma and i wanna get it leveled, what size level kit i should buy.

Do you get ground clearance if you apply 3 inch leveling kit?
It will raise the front of your truck to level it out but the rear may remain the same depending on the kit. Check out our leveling and suspension kits here!

No
If I do a 2 inch leveling kit I know that may have it ride rougher in the front due to the shocks are there a different type of shock you reccomend to compensate for the 2 inch lift or not to make it ride smoother when you hit bumps
Hey Fuller, question for you, I've got a 2019 ram rebel new body style with a 3 inch tuff country level kit from les Schwab. Would 35 inch Toyo open country tires rub? I would be using the factory 18 inch wheels. Thanks, and your videos are great.
Take a look in our gallery and see what other people have gotten to fit!
Customoffsets.com/gallery
Its gonna rub a little. I have a friend with a similar setup.
So with a 2 “ level all components would be ok? Stress wise.
I have a 2014 ram 1500 4x4 btw
Yes you would! As long as it is installed correctly and you buy quality!
So in other words buy from you guys right?? 👍🏼😎😉😉
Was the black Tacoma the you showed on this video a lift or leveling. Do you recommend one over the other?
Leveled!! I personally prefer Lifted!
Wondering the quality of Motofab lifts or are there any you prefer over them.
Great informative video, thanks for this!!! 💯🤙
Best explanation yet. Thanks!

Can I lift my truck at any time? Like when is a point in my trucks life when I shouldn’t lift it or it has too many miles??
Thanks
We got people that will lift it at 10 miles, or 250,000 miles Brooks, its all personal preference
Custom Offsets Got it thank you. But, when do I know that I shouldn’t lift my truck in terms of components if they are bad or not like how can I tell?
Brooks Hardy I lifted my 96 f150 knowing the front end was getting loose the truck is pushing 200k and runs like a top I did the lift which is 6in on 20x12 wrapped in 35x12.50x20 drove it about 2-3 months and had the front end completely rebuild that’s really the only thing I worried about. U joints and bearings can go out but that’s smaller things to not worry so munch about Just keep an eye on everything and do regular maintenance and you’ll be just fine
Thanks man I appreciate your input. My Silverado is at 53k miles so just didn't know how long I have to save up for a lift.
We do not do gear ratio changes. Most trucks will be fine as long as you don't try to use a half ton truck on 35's as a race truck
@@jakethequadrunnersnake642 Thank you. Good to know from someone with exact set up I want.. I will go ahead and do that.
My 2011 Silverado has a 7.5 in lift on 35s with 3.42 gears but now it gets 10.7 mpg and sucks at towing so I’m regearing to 4.56. Hope that helps.
If I use a coil over to level my truck do I need to do any modifications with the front end?
I recently purchased a 95 1500 that I plan on working on and I plan on putting a 3 inch lift on and it’s lower in the front and everyone is telling me twist the torsion keys and then put a lift on but wouldn’t that make it squat ??🤔 I’m new at this
All depends how much you crank them. You can level out the truck.

Would 33s look and fit good on a 3in lift 2006 Silverado crew cab 2wd? Or is the 4.5 lift a better choice, I can’t decide.

A lot of people swear by those shocks for sure!
Ty for the reply im going to get them
I own a 2012 tacoma,is there a leveling kit that will not require the rear suspension to be raised?
I have a 2016 Dodge Ram 1500 V8 and was going to go ahead with a lvl kit just so I can go with a little bit bigger of a tire... so should I be adding in the cost of putting new control arms and everything else that will be stressed out because of the lvl kit? Or can you get away with what’s there
minor leveling kits around 2-2.5" dont need new upper control arms or much anything else.
