Eh probado 240 144 120 y 60 fps y la verdad es que despues de los 60 ya todo es absolutamente igual de jugable si se nota mas sin embargo no es tan exagerada la diferencia como de 30 a 60 hz
What you see with de delay is input lag and has kothing to do with refresh rate. The refreshrate just makes it look smoother and more responsive. I switched from 30fps (games on ps2 and ps3) to 60fps on my pc. For most games this feels completely fine. I also have tried 120fps but the difference is not big enough for me to sacrifice the image quality. (Except for shooters or rocket league)
10 years later after first owning 144hz (22) And nowadays honestly I noticed as long as the frame timing is consistent fps could be as low as 30 and be fine. obviously higher is better but you want consistency/fidelity balance. 120hz on a monitor < 30hz/+ on a crt. If ykyk.
See this is the problem. I get that 240 hz is better for competitive games but when they start bullshitting that 540 hz is way better than 240 it’s just a bull. Sure it looks smoother in slow mo, but guess what, we’re not playing in slow-mo. It’s time we started working on making 4K monitors a regular thing and then lowering the prices over the time. No one needs 8K 540 hz monitor
from 60 to 144hz it's a huge day and night difference from 144hz to 240hz- it's good but meh, not needed if you aren't a semi-pro or above from 240hz to 360hz - totally overkill, i would prefer a better resolution / panel/ or even invest that in my GPU
It's just an imput lag. Time between 60 hz is 16ms and 120hz is 8 ms. Average time delays are 8 ms(16/2) and 4ms. The difference is only 4 ms! Yeah, it's smoother, but the problem is in old monitors imput lag
That makes a difference in competitive gaming. You really want that 240 if not higher, but then again again there are certain games that just don’t support that fast of a frame rate and that’s okay but you still want the higher hair of a frame rate for the few games that you might play that do support it and this can also help reduce motion sickness if that is something that you suffer from, which I don’t so I don’t necessarily care for this because most of the games that I have are 60 Hz or 50 Hz I placed some old stuff so you don’t necessarily need a monitor that does this old games
if you connect 2 monitors together and set one at 60hz and the other 120hz it creates a delay so the fact they there is a delay is not a comparison to the refresh rates but when he slows it down it a great comparison on the 120hz look how smooth it moves but the 60hz it looks glitchy. don't be fooled by people do your own research 98 % of content creates can't even make there own content and 98% of them will not show any type of proof of what there claiming at least this guy slows down the clip to see the difference but the 2 monitors linked up with different refresh rates doesn't prove anything except you can show you can create a delay cause there synced properly. 60hz refreshes the screen 60 times in a second and having a higher hz tv and a computer that can provide a higher frame rate which is expensive only allows anything on the screen to move more smooth
It's crazy, people may not think it's much. But the moment you go from 120 or 144 back down to 60...it's almost enough to make you sick

i recently upgraded from 75 to 165 and the difference is insane
It’s odd I keep it at 60 because anything above hurts my eyes
Eh probado 240 144 120 y 60 fps y la verdad es que despues de los 60 ya todo es absolutamente igual de jugable si se nota mas sin embargo no es tan exagerada la diferencia como de 30 a 60 hz
Going from an oled screen 175 to a led 60 hz feels like 20fps
will never get back to 60hz from 165
apple still using 60hz
No one needs 8K 540 hz monitor
from 60 to 144hz it's a huge day and night difference
from 144hz to 240hz- it's good but meh, not needed if you aren't a semi-pro or above
from 240hz to 360hz - totally overkill, i would prefer a better resolution / panel/ or even invest that in my GPU
