The semi-final results show opens with a spectacular routine from international ballet superstar Carlos Acosta.
Our professional dancers are AJ Pritchard, Aljaž Skorjanec, Amy Dowden, Anton Du Beke, Dianne Buswell, Giovanni Pernice, Gorka Marquez, Graziano Di Prima, Janette Manrara, Johannes Radebe, Karen Hauer, Katya Jones, Kevin Clifton, Luba Mushtuk, Nadiya Bychkova, Nancy Xu, Neil Jones, and Oti Mabuse.
It's Semi-Final time and the pressure is well and truly on as our couples have not one, but two routines to perform this week!

Carlos is an absolute legend; I still can't believe I was able to see him with Marianela Nunez in Don Quixote before his retirement! Amazing to see him dancing again!

Fun fact the second the main show stopped recording the strictly had to install a new bouncy (spring) dance floor on top of the regular one and then take it of for the rest of the results show. This was done I less than 1 hour and it’s quite amazing actually

Loved the show but please audience stop screeching all the time while the artists are performing. Your not in the US where shows are ruined completely by the awful noise coming from the audiences.
Well excuuuuuse me! Don't knock us down because we tend to react when we see something amazing. It is freakin' normal. Why be stoic all the time?! These kind of shows rely on those kind of reactions. Sheesh!
In this context I quite like the audience noise. It made me want to be there too. What I don't like are chat shows where the audience whoops every 10 seconds.

I always think it adds to the excitement for people at home if the audience clap and cheer
