How did the heat from the exhaust work out ? Did you use the tape?

i just ordered these for my 2022 low rider s and i got then for the same reason , they match the rear fender curve , but i have to relocate my rear signals

How did the exhaust heat go? Did you use the tape?

No, it is not necessary. I rode for a couple of hours on a 90+ degree day. I checked the bottom of the bag several times and it was fine.
