You should have done the exhaust side first, so you get the clearance from the mufflers far enough. Then you can match the height of the other side. If you do the other way (like in this video) you may have to go back and re-drill the holes to get them right. Just FYI. I've done enough aftermarket bags on bikes, so I know what I'm talking about.
Great video thanks for taking the time to make it for US I'm right in sync with what you where saying about the spacers Viking is a very nice saddle bag cause I just got some but they might have sent better hard ware to install with it seems or maybe they wanted us to spend more IDK but Thanks for your work on helping us amen!
Just got mine. They honestly would have been better without the shock cut out so you could just mount the bags back a bit, completely avoiding the shock, allowing you to mount the bags in closer to the fender.
Thank you for showing off our saddlebags!
You are welcome. Feel free to share my content.

Not a bad idea

You’re welcome. I am glad it helped
I just ordered a set of the lamellar saddlebags, it says xtra large but it looks like there all xtra large, what size are the one you have ?
I gently don’t remember. I think they were the largest one available for the Dyna.

I am not sure they would clear the swingarm if they were that close. But yeah, tight and narrow is a killer look!!!
Did you line the bottom up with the swing arm? Trying to install mine but it seems like it'll be crooked in order for me to drill the holes
I did all measurements off of the fender strut & strut bolts.
What size are the saddle bags?
34 liters according to Vikings website.
Every saddlebag is extra large they say
I think the Vikings saddlebags are the best looking bags for superglide dyna models, all the other bags look too big
I agree. It’s a great looking product.
