    Some of us don't mind the talking and are intelligent enough to figure out video speed controls and skipping where necessary so do your videos how you enjoy doing them.
    It's your business, you may as well have fun with it.
    Plus, some of us like to hear the types of situations we might get into if we want to buy one of these ourselves.

    I had a Bobcat 642 skid steer with a 4 cyl industrial engine. It was a good machine and very usable. I bought a used bobcat E26 excavator with very low hours 2012 model. Love it but it was $22 thousand cash. I had to buy a thumb and new tracks that I have yet to put on.. They are all kinda jumpy at first you sill get better and you have what looks like a thumb it may be a solid that you may not have. a cylinder to it to move? not sure Any way, they save your back and use them easy at first to see what they can do. I may even look a that skid steer for my property You are talking about money now......4600 killer deal..yep get all the extras you can get...auger is about 100 less than a tractor one...3 grand for the skid steer is cheap, I think again good job...i will look for one just to have for the size, I would get the biggest motor they have because you use it...oh I figure my machines at 300 a day to see if you get your use out of them, so after 10 uses at 300 per use you have paid for the thing in rentals after that it is profit and parts for anything that breaks...confusing maybe but it will cost you to rent equipment.

    • @betweenthesharksgarage

      all that makes sense to me... it really does help to hear the positive reinforcement from people on there that know more than i do about equipment and my rational was somewhat sound on the rental front and having them available when i am

    On RB its best to priority bid what you are willing then forget about it as they will bid for you until you run out of money, but you only pay for the highest bid which is yours and you actually get it as cheap as it can be got.

    Definitely cheap when you consider that going with a reputable brand such as Bobcat or Kubota for the same size machines would of cost 80k+. Are they built as well? no definitely not but they should hold up fine for your use since you won't be working them 10 hours a day indefinitely. Plus they are easy to work on when you need to do so. Keep at it and you will get the hang of running them and projects will move fast. Word of warning though, be very careful with that mini skid, that unit doesn't look like it has much counterweight. The hydraulics will easily catapult you over the machine if you push it. They may be small but they can still put you 6 feet under easily. Stay safe.

      @illsaveyes หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Listen to this advice, any novice/diy operators THEY AINT TOYS don’t try testing their limit, keep well below it? Run at half rpm for ten minutes and you’ll soon get the hang of things. At half power the engine will cut-out,before the machine kills you👍love the content an been waiting on this vid ❤

    • @FenrirFabrication
      @FenrirFabrication หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@illsaveyes Sadly seen quite a few people get seriously hurt or worse with the Chinese mini skids. Rarely do these little machines have accurate testing/operating data. Have a load a little too high and back down any incline can cause the machine to roll right back over top of you. Attempt to lift something you think is in your operating range only to have the machine buck you clean over the front. As for the mini ex they tend to tip over easily if you attempt rotation/ work on uneven terrain. But generally, if you keep your blade planted and work in line with your tracks your boom usually will stop you from going past the point of no return. I love seeing people get into doing excavation work, etc. but smaller machines definitely are more dangerous than full-size units especially to start with since they are prone to easily being overloaded. Stay safe out there everyone

    I bought the exact same excavator last week for $3,500 plus 10% buyer’s premium. Mine has the enclosed cab and the name on it is MIVA VA13 instead of VICSEC VC13.
    Got the same auger setup as well for $325.
    You can easily add the hydraulic cylinder to the thumb that’s bolted on it to make it a hydraulic thumb.
    They usually have about 4-6 of these Chinese machines there at the auction but had at least two dozen this time and they went for about half the price as usual. I was watching the auction to buy something else but couldn’t pass one of these up at that price.

    • @betweenthesharksgarage
      @betweenthesharksgarage  หลายเดือนก่อน

      thats how it seems to me, you really can beat it at the price... what auction did you buy from 10% premium sounds better that 15% lol... I think they are all selling though so i expect companies like richie bros will import them as fast as they can and that will help keep the prices down

  • @jodieadair
    @jodieadair หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Nice looking machines. Be sure to check the bolts on your machines. They usually come from the factory with loose ones. Especially the swivel motor bolts on the mini ex, there are bolts holding the motor down and bolts holding the motor together on the top and bottom. Check them all or they will case a leak or pinion damage.

    I bought my Vicsec VC15 at Richie Bros in March. I live close by and picked it up myself. I had the same suprise as you, I won a Ripper for $85 and it was $185 +7% GA sales tax. 15% buyers fee I think is too high. I recently bought some attachments from TAC auctions in Moreland GA (not too far from me), and they only charge 10% buyers fee and only charge sales tax on your bid price. I will only watch TAC auctions from now on. They are nice people to deal with because they are a small local company compared to RB who is an international company. One more thing, I hope you greased all the pins because they come from China without grease.

    Man you are going to get a bunch of work done with those machines! I bought a mini Excavator about the same size as yours and it’s been awesome, they are back savers.
    I’m saving up for a mini skid steer like yours next. Anyway when you get more time on the skid steer would you consider making a video review of it. The machine I’m going to order is almost identical to yours, just a different name on it, I have found Zero reviews on the machine. Have fun with those Toys/ tools 😊👍

      yea man i am thrilled about it! and its unusual for me to be jazzed on that kind of cash out the wallet... off the bat it is so easy and smooth to operate( coming from someone with zero experiance on this type of machine) the skids were going cheap for some reason.
      I watched your excavator into video and your machine does have a lot of little design elements that are better than mine, but i am still super pleased..... but i have to go back over mine like you did and check everything... i ran it for a half hour had some fun but gotta go back and give it he full once over like you did on yours... but i ll do the skidsteer first and see what we really got.

    Does the mtg warranty get voided because you bought it through an auction another Kruger I watch is c and c equipment bought another Chinese brand ( sany ) for resale it was a brand new unit and found out after he sold it that it didn't come with a warranty
    From the mtg OR RICHEY BRO

    • @betweenthesharksgarage
      @betweenthesharksgarage  25 วันที่ผ่านมา

      There never seemed to be a a warranty expressed or implied, outside of the richie brothers promise the unit was brand new.... and thus untested. but if it were a lemon... it would have been my lemon. it I did a lot of research on youtube to see if they just fell apart but it seems that enough people had enough luck with them over time that it was worth the risk. Reviews also suggest that these are assembled out of common parts as instead of proprietary or brand based design. I have not confirmed that, but it seems to be true. so if something breaks, repairs should be manageable enough at home thats the hope at least

    A positive observation is that the most successful you tube producers appear to keep themselves out of their videos as much as possible. (Watch Andrew Camarata, Diesel Creek and many others). You had a lot of interesting subject material to attract subscribers. Unfortunately your interesting subjects were covered up by the videographer. It appears that this was an introductory video, which was your chance to attract and most important, to keep new Subscribers. This is not being critical of you. We are taking the time to help you to be successful. You have the chance to be extremely successful. It will be by showing the subject material such as the building recovery and use of the equipment, not the videographer. You most likely will remove this comment mistakingly thinking that it is negative. Hopefully you will remember what was written and spend less time in the videos. Thank you and more videos please.
