I grew up with the book this is based off of. Some of the shots in the movie is actually from the book. Like the man who put the plate on his head during the forecast. Lol
Also! If you watch the commentary they will tell you that the conversation Flint has with his dad over the phone was a real one he’d had with his own dad. Lol

This movie is loosely based on a children's book by the same name. The story is simpler but basically the same. Its kind of cool how much they expanded it.

If you have not already seen it, I recommend the film "THE OTHERS." Nicole Kidman has the main role. I think you and your subscribers would like it.

"Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" is such a fine and wholesome film for the entire family. It is loosely based on the 1978 children's book of the same name by Judi and Ron Barrett.
