    Very true! My husband had a stage 4 lung cancer, and doctor said he would only have few months to live. With nothing to lose at that point, we have changed our live style together by changing our diet (Whole food plan base diet), meditate (attended Vipassana 10 days courses), exercise, and be in the sun for about 1 hr/day. To our surprise, his tumor in the brain shrink then disappear in just 2 short months. His doctor had no words on how we could reverse cancer naturally.

    11 years ago I went through a lot of stress, and developed what doctors said was Multiple Sclerosis. My immune system was attacking my nervous system. I knew stress was the starting point, so I used a form of self hypnosis to combat stress. I removed stress, and wouldn't ya know.... not an MS symptom in ten years, and my neurologist has no clue of how it just "cleared up."

    • @VividAbominations
      @VividAbominations 5 ปีที่แล้ว +160

      ...and yes, I too was so blown away, I became a hypnotist. People can actually heal themselves the way I did. I used binural beats and new age type music to sleep to. I played and slept to an audio track that was 7 hours long. I recorded my own voice reading stress relief hypno scripts, and I made sure they eased in around the 5th hour of the audio. (REM sleep) I would wake up at my normal time, not remember consciously hearing myself, and go on with my day. Major changes took place and my symptoms seemed to get better in the first week. I then used "parts therapy" scripts to direct all attention to my subconscious, and to specifically STOP IT from seeing my nervousness as a threat.

I prayed and asked God " If this is your will, then so be it. But if it's my choice, then I choose the cancer was never there". That was in 2012. I lost 10sq. Inches of my face. • @paramedivmso4
      @paramedivmso4 4 ปีที่แล้ว +25

      @ciaran perry Belief. If you dont believe in something to your very core essence, all the praying in the world wont work. Just as if you dont believe in yourself to do a task or challenge in your heart, than you will fail. But if you see yourself completing the task or challenge and have full confidence in yourself than you will prevail. The same concept goes for illness and disease. Be open to the fact that there is and are energies around us as well as "helpers" , your higher self and God. You may not see them physically, but it certainly does not mean they are not there. If one truly lets go and surrenders the ego and realizes the all that is, the I am, that we all have God inside, this opens up so much, to the All That Is.
      You have more power than you have been told and led to believe. But you, and only you can make that free choice decision. Some go through illness and disease as part of plan. A plan to awaken those around them to make change. A change in themselves that would not have happened if not for the disease or illness.
      Some souls come in only to bring out the core essence of love in those around them even though they themselves are going through an illness or difficult time with health. Because with out that person going through that illness, the ones around them would not do the things in their life that put them on a path they would never have discovered with out the one who has or had been suffering.
      It may seem unfair or cruel. But through difficulty we realize ourselves. The one who suffered, changed the loved ones around them for the better and sometimes altered their life by the suffering they went through. But it is all for greater good of all. It may seem like the plan would be unbalanced and many question why me or them, but the soul never dies. Only the corporeal body dies. The soul returns in another lifetime and may be the one who suffers along side a loved one. But carries the memory of the pain and suffering with them in their cellular structure in the quantum field. But this new lifetime they are the healer, the doctor, the master of self who has the wisdom to heal others by who knows..
      Maybe to answer a random youtube post to a total stranger :). Possibly changing their life forever by a simple answer and a little encouragement.
      For them to realize that in the end of all there is only love.

    You do not need a hypnotherapist to do this unless you cannot identify what the event was that caused the problem. If you do know you can go into a mild meditative state by focusing on your breath for a couple of minutes then, go to the event in your mind and identify what would have helped you not feel that emotional pain. Then give yourself what you needed in that moment. Example: You were traumatized by a father and your mother did not save you. Now while in that painful memory, you be the mother and give yourself what she did not. IT WORKS try it.

As in, reenact the situation but this time, allow your mom to give you exactly what you were lacking at the moment? Same thing with father or other major situations too like scenarios at school, work, etc? Thank you!

      This mind trick only lifts the emotional pain and scars however. What if you need this APPLIED to your body? What if you need to change your skin for example and lift/heal PHYSICAL scars and parts that are deformed?
      I mean what is the point of feeling better for a while if THE ACTUAL PROBLEM is still there and you look at it everyday so naturally you will relapse back to that emotional pain once you see your body again and the damage is still there.

Since there is an unconscious knowing that pain is involved in knowing, resistance can be an issue, for which a trusted individual can be super important in pushing through to get to the truth.

    I'm a board-certified nurse and In November 2019, my doctors diagnosed me with a rare debilitating autoimmune condition called MDA-5 Dermatomyositis. They said I had 6 months to live. We don't have any history of autoimmune diseases in our family so it's definitely not the "genes." I began to QUESTION EVERYTHING and decided to be proactive in responding to what happened to me. This was the time when I learned about the Terrain Theory which led me to Naturopathic Medicine (Homeopathy & Naturopathic Nutrition)! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
    In less than 2 years, I am very grateful to have reversed the autoimmune condition and since then I have been free from any pharmaceuticals. It was NOT an easy journey but I would go through it OVER and OVER again if it would lead me to where I am today. @@thomaswhite2579 I believe it has limits because I know it has limits (as does everyone): you can't fix a broken/injured brain with placebo (with time you adapt but never recover), nor severe infection nor ruptured appendix etc. Nor can it prevent death for ever! I do know placebo can have very powerful effects, especially if prescribed by a very trusted person (often a person wearing a white coat). The nocebo effect is also strong - often depending on previous cause-effect learning & personal history, same as placebo. Belief (faith) has very powerful effects, just look at those in the extreme parts of religion, and catholics believe the wafer & wine turn int the body & blood of Jesus - some beliefs/faiths are ridiculous but instead of being told they are insane these beliefs are protected by governments/laws! We can all have our own beliefs as long as they don't harm others - and some actions caused by some beliefs DO cause harm, as you know. Hope you never get a brain injury (or some other serious illness or injury) but if you or someone you love does then you'll believe me that placebo can't cure it.

They must never ever continue to prescribe placebo (as I have been/am with sleeping tablets+) when patient tells them repeatedly they don't work: unethical. None of the doctors Ive spoken to will help me they just try and give me medication instead of helping me get through my trauma. So Ive been studding my illnesses and I'm trying to help myself get through this hell i live daily. I am getting there slowly and i can feel myself becoming the woman i use to be. I love listening to Ted Talks and thank you so much for your video Danna Pycher it made so much sense. Hopefully i will become better and I'm so glad that you got through it. Mary Lyon the way to activate motivation in any field is to seat down quietly 2 times a day for 10 minutes preferably just before going to bed at night and just after getting up in the morning and consider and enumerate and visualise the best reasons why you want to be motivated by this thing situation or event and keep repeating and re consider it for 1 month even if it works already after a few days .it always works if you persist .don't forget that motivation is the root causes of all actions in your life.it is almost more important than ntelligence it is at the foundation of your freedom and your success in your life. with no motivation you have no power of accomplishing anything.

A healthy body and diet does work however, you are right there, along with a positive attitude to life, free of stress. The trouble can be finding the right food. Don't shun a positive mind however, lots of research has been done on positive approach vs negative approach and positive wins all the time.

    Awesome presentation! I also had a similar experience. I had a botched ear surgery, left me for bedridden and wheelchair and wanting me to be in a nursing home because I was a burden on my family...doctors felt this would be best for all concerned because I vomited daily, lost balance, had severe dizzines, ataxia when walking etc. I went to a hypnotherapist and OMG, the stuff I began to erase from my mind... I saw all the statements that kept whirling around in my mind...on a white board... printed in black...the negative statements they said to me...it became part of my life... It was with hypnosis that I took my life back...got out of the wheelchair...got the dizziness under control...the vomiting stopped and I also have used hypnosis for many other issues in my life. Thank heavens for the power of our subconscious to help us heal and become the person we were.

    She makes some very good points that are quite obvious to anyone who has worked effectively with trauma patients. The concept of psychoneuroimmunology might be eye-opening or even controversial to the uninformed masses (like the confused kid who commented about Dianetics and scientology), but the mind-body link has been proven scientifically beyond a shadow of a doubt to those who are educated. I've studied human behavior and health for 20 years, both in theory and practice. The reality is that emotional trauma (whether PTSD or grief) is based largely on the unconscious/learned thoughts and perceptions of the traumatized person, and that includes memories and the meaning associated to them. Change those thoughts by whatever means (hypnotherapy happens to be one effective method), and the emotional baggage becomes lighter. If more people in healthcare and psychology understood the implications of what she was saying, we would have a much healthier society, mentally and physically.

      Jeff Canterbury briefly said and yet absolutely powerfull : maintain good thoughts in your mind and you will have a good life ! maintain bad thoughts (negative and destructive ) in your thinking and you will have a bad life (with all kinds of problems) know that you are a creator of your own life .whatever you are confronted with now you have created it .so now analyse your own life and try to see the relationships between what you think and what happens in your personal life . this is a law! ! that means it always works but the effects don't happen right away and may come days later ,weeks or years later depending on others factors so that you will assimilate better the lessons of living. knowing this law you get power and responsibilities.

      Many of our problems start and remain in our mind. What we feed our bodies count too. Your car need gas and other fluids, so do our bodies. In our past there are things that hang us out for many years. Ask yourself, before sleep, why...,.. whatever you think your problem is. Be amazed what you find out. even from early childhood, that sticks in your subconscious.

      Sorry for your difficult health , I can never replace the doctor with the research but as support . I started out three and a half years ago to prove the remarkable results I was getting was just a Placebo Effect . It is clearly very real , I will say I have not had a severe illness that I needed to work on . The Subconscious mind runs the body , Consciousness give it direction , reasoning or problem solving , physical life . Scientists try to prove anything Negative said to us or we say to ourselves manifest in illness . I can speak first hand to somethings . We are unaware that we could be harming ourselves . The Subconscious records everything unless Consciousness filters it or blocks it . You can use this information to help yourself by understanding how to get a Command , or suggestion pass Consciousness just like the Hypnotist do . The Command or Suggestion has to be Positive ( NO EXCEPTIONS ) this is most important . The shorter the Command Phrase the better like , I FEEL BETTER AND BETTER WITH EACH PASSING DAY , I AM GETTING HEALTHIER AND HEALTHIER , using the name of the illness is NOT acceptable . Also saying remove the pain from my back , these type of Phrases are NOT acceptable . It is your responsibility to heed these warnings . The Repetition of the Phrase will get through to the Subconscious when given just as you are falling asleep and when the body is at deep rest . The soonest you will see a change is Three Days but you should continue until you start getting better ( 30 days ) . Think of the best possible Phrase for you , this is important . If after three or four weeks you are not see improvement you should pick a better Phrase , keep in mind that you are trying to CONVIENCE the Subconscious to help you and that you are Okay with this change . Faith and Expectation is the best way to Convince the Subconscious . I wish you the very best with your Health , if you can't do it by yourself you can go with a Hypnotist , Gods Blessings to you Eddie

    Hypnosis is not the only way to heal, there are many other approaches that help to release the traumas that we experienced in our lives, even though we may not have thought of this.
    Please keep looking, there is a way that will work for you, but you have to be open-minded. I believe that everything happens, even our darkest moments, to teach us about ourselves. She’s right, we can heal, but you have to listen to - not just your mind - but more importantly, what your body is trying to tell you! ❤

    Hi Dana, Great talk! I use hypnosis along with EFT to ultimately eliminate all the mental "stuff" we drag along behind us - at which point, I bring clients into Presence, which is when the mind is silent and the client is in the Present Moment. I agree with your perspective and often eliminate the client's Resistance to Change before working on their issues, so they are open to changing. I believe this is the threshold to all other change. I use both Hypnosis and EFT to accomplish that first. Again, great!

    This approach would take weeks/months to resolve and very expensive. I will save most of you that trouble and explain in just few sentences. Human Brain is receptive to programs from Source. Some will say we are living in Hologram where outside of us is programmed, however I believe the program is within the mind. Program is sent to your mind and mind interprets program as the physical world that you think is real. So any problem you "perceive" yourself as having doesn't actually exist and purely lives only in your perception. Essentially, you are not your own persona. You are now free of that illusionary burden. But you will need to continue to play your roles in society. Drop inner resistance. Achieve inner peace regardless of situation now that you know the truth. Remember to love yourself and others.

      The problem is you can't just state the end result and then it's solved. Knowledge is easy to obtain. You need to go through a process to integrate it in your life.
      What you are saying is essentially "you don't have a problem" - which is not a realistic approach and try telling troubled people they don't have a problem and think its solved then. Won't work. The real question is how you bring people towards that understanding, the process is really the goal.

    Back in the 1950s Dr Herbert Bensen of Harvard U. wrote a book called the mind/body connection. When I read it in the 80s it blew my mind. He was not accepted at that time by the medical community, and it took decades to understand he was on to something. Then we found that anxiety appears to be the basis of most illnesses. That took a long time to accept. Now we see that the mind, body, emotional and spiritual l parts of us are all real, and all connected. And they are in all of our cells. If your mind tells you that you are sick, you will get sick, as though it must obey. If you use words like that person is a pain in the neck and your anger dwells on that thought, your neck may very well start to ache etc. Praise and thank each and every cell that is working to heal you despite yourself, tell then you are grateful for all they do for you and do it daily. See what happens.

    Ohhhhhh thank you! I love you for that 17 Min. of reality. And it´s nothing esoteric thing. It´s a logical and measurable chain. The biggest break to heal yourself is you. Trust and believe will help as well as a ´mantra´ that could help: "It only can get better from here! What do i have too loose, if i trust someone i don´t know.?. Nothing! The worst thing that can happen is, that you win a new life!"
    Danna Thanx & much love to you.

    I just love that people are rediscovering old truths. Just putting new names on the same old practice. The problem is to keep doing it and practicing it. Because in my age, I have heard this so many times, but sometimes people just talk, but when you get to know them....

    You can also heal yourself by faith and speaking with God. Sometimes you just need to pray, repent, rest, listen, and be obedient. Meditate on the word daily. This helped me panic attacks and depression. I no longer experienced IBS, which was painful.
