Not sure why they decided to tart up their act with the smoke and cheesy choreography - perhaps their objective is a Super Bowl halftime show or opening for Taylor Swift, not advancing their music. The sound mix was awful, Laura's base dialed up so far it crushed Mark's delicate lines. No question all that was fine with a Cleveland audience that has embraced KISS ... but made us sad after anticipating their music live.
@@ericlenhoff Beginning a tour, tech problems are to be expected. But disappointing to see them intentionallu move from the unpretentious performance approach seen in the videos that features Mark's inspired playing (and Laura Lee's gentle swaying), over to the bogus stuff added last night. Probably they now have so much momentum and cachet that their fans will put up with it or even dig it. But when we left early, there was a trickle of folks leaving with us who I think were as disappointed as we were.
What a great show it was! I’m still floating 6 inches off the ground😊

Do they intentionally have the same hairstyle or is it just a coincidence?
They wear wigs so you don't know what they look like when they get off the stage.
