You know why I love this list? Because you go into thorough detail about each Pokemon (moves, stats, strategies) instead of half-assing it like a TON of other people.
Thanks for all the positive support on this already, guys. I really tried to put a lot of work into this rather than a lot of Pokemon top 10's I have seen. I really appreciate every one of you :]
Austin Robicheaux She is still with us, waiting for her re-awakening....in Pokemon GO!! I can just imagining chasing a rare Pokemon down my street, then it gets knocked out and caught by someone else. I turn around to see the culprit...ProJared is standing there, Nuptup at his side. Badass.
How to use Swellow: have flame orb, guts, facade and protect. start with a protect. Status effects double facade's base damage of 70, making it 140. x1.5 because of guts, making it 210. x1.5 again because of stab, making it now 315, and this is not considering Swellow's stats or stat boosts, that's insane!
+TheBallisticPepper ahhh I'm dumb, didn't properly look up guts, I was thinking you'd still lose a bit of power before the multiplication but it completely ignores the cut in attack.
Swellow > Greninja Literally have one-shotted many greninjas before they can do anything due to its higher speed and high attack combined with guts! Love Swellow! ❤️
So I juest went on Smogon to take a look at this PU tier and... well.... Ampharos, Cacturne, Camerupt, Dusknoir, Floatzel, Marowak, Ninetales, Ninjask, Rampardos, Regigigas, Slaking. I can make a team with these pokemon and wreck a good number of OU teams.
The thing is the tiers aren't where they can play it's where they are the most balanced. Rampardos can pack a punch but it's shit speed and defenses not to mention lack of a secondary stab makes it balanced in pu. It can be used in higher tiers. But it's the most balanced in pu. If some one found a way for t to beat 90 percent of the tier with virtually no team support outside of i guess stealth rocks then yeah they probably could move it up a tier or two. I don't have anything against rampardos. I just found it the easiest to explain why it's pu. Also golem> rampardos.
+pranav bharadwaj tiers still mean something though. They aren't absolute but if you don't believe me. Take 6 pu Pokémon of your choice no mega's like pidgeot audino or glalie. And try taking them to an ou battle me tell me if you can beat somebody who isn't an idiot.
you didnt mention my personal favorite NU wall, Ludicolo. With rain dance, giga drain, leech seed and a water stab (i like scald for its attack weakening capabilities) he can be incredibly bulky and quite annoying to handle. I give him big root or leftovers too just to max out on that regen
my bro defeated requaza with lvl 40 and requaza is 70 but he kept not saving it because he wanted to catch it he was pushing my head when caught it and he said my lucky head cause he took 4 hrs
I just made the top 100 in XY by using a Golem. Had endure, custap berry, sturdy, stealth rock, and EdgeQuake combo. No one knew what to do with it, especially when I paired it with a t-wave gyarados for awesome type coverage.
Because people predict the sturdy and go for a weaker move initially. The endure gets the backup and allows the use of Custap berry, which is extremely beneficial due to Golem's high attack power.
magmortar > pyroar until i die, also malamar is by far the best. maybe not in this meta game, but when hes on a mono-dark team and he saves me lone-wolf style when i fight mono-fighting, hes beast.
+Nø Game Nø Lev Because 3 is the number of God and perfection, and 6 is the number of man and imperfection. Therefore, 666 is the number of the devil and sin because it symbolizes man trying to become God. So Pokemon's "God" being No. 666 would reflect the fact that it's not actually God, but just a powerful Pokemon worshiped as a divine being. But instead, No. 666 is a butterfly. A goddamn butterfly.
i've been using a vivillon that can take out pretty much anything as long as the vivi doesn't die before making it's very first move (except some special cases). Ability: compound eyes. Item: leftovers. Maxed out speed and sp. attack. Moveset: sleep powder, substitute, hurricane, bug buzz. Repeat sleep powder + substitute every time your substitute breaks, even if you could use that turn to beat the opposing pokemon -> no matter if the next pokemon sent is faster or slower than your vivi, you get to put it to sleep safely with your substitute. Result: so many ragequits
In gens 1-4 so many NU Pokémon would at least be BL, UU, or RU. NU used to be just reserved for literally the Pokémon with few to none redeeming qualities like Butterfree, Sunflora, Ledian, Delibird, Luvdisc, Unown, Farfetch'D, Masquerain, etc. But now seeing several decent Pokémon in a pretty bad tier is kinda sad :(
As much as we wish we could stop being so stupid aggressive when on our periods, we actually CAN'T take that advice. It's physically impossible. Sorry, godofwar078.
Ok,so,I don't do competitive battling, so don't flame me for this question.breloom can have poison heal.and if I pair it with a toxic orb,(which BADLY poisons),will the heal increase every turn?i legit want to know this.the logic behind this question is,the badly poisoned deals more damege with every turn.so, again, does the HEAL increase every turn?
Aage Grenchik Um, no... Vincent is right. it heals 1/8th regardless of poison or toxic poison... I'm not sure why you would post this BS after someone answered the question honestly...
When I first got my Emerald, i was using muk, but then I read that it's sp. attack was low because the best move back then was sludge bomb and I left it behind...
I like to use a physical Pyroar. Choice band with moxie. Retaliate, Flame Charge, and anything else you want. Not much other moves to use... Depends on what you want to run... Just max speed and attack with either adamant or jolly.
Tony Beuwolf also it learns moves like close combat, x-scissor, all the elemental punches, shadow claw, poison jab, and rock slide. it's coverage is amazing, it could be unstoppable if given the chance
My Vileplume was the MIP during a multi-battle. Mine was both supportive and offensive. I had Teeter Dance, Aromatherapy, Giga Drain, and Moonblast- with a Quick Claw. The ability was Effect Spore, of course. Why? > Healed my ally's Mega Gardevoir's Paralyze and my Mega Gallade's burn. > Moonblast was unexpected > Teeter Dance gave it time to cause Pokemon to hit themselves, in confusion, as it Giga Drained the life from them.
No. PU doesn't stand for anything. It is a pun coming from PU meaning stinky (as in, these Pokemon are really bad). People have tried to come up with things for it (ex. Poorly Used, Partially Used), but none are official or widely recognized. Though, Pretty Useless is a pretty accurate description of the Pokemon in the tier.
All these people saying so many different things just shows what I mean by "none are official or widely recognized." To be fair though, it is only natural that people assume it means something since all the other tiers do. The difference is that PU is still technically not a real tier. It will also likely never become a real tier. A tier will be added above NU before one would be added below NU, meaning no PU.
+HoodedCrow Lol this is the only video I have ever gotten comments saying I sound like Christopher Walken. Literally not any other video have I ever seen that. I wonder why? Ive gotten hundreds of comments saying that in this video lmao.
***** hey man love your videos you've been an inspiration for my channel tbh, I think the Christopher Walken comments come from the slight pauses in this video when you talk :)
I hate this tier just on name alone. If these Pokemon are actually used, then they are NOT "Never Used". Honestly, RU should be the lowest tier, since "Rarely Used" basically means "almost never", since it's impossible for there to be any Pokemon that has never been used in multiplayer battles
nope rarely is like people use it but not at offten and never its like no one uses dont complain what I just said wasent true I said its like not it is
Dude, seriously shut up. I wouldn't be mad if you weren't talking like such a prick about it but I'm pretty sure literally anybody will deduce that yes, these Pokemon HAVE been used before, but are not often seen in competitive play today
I was confused. the list is called top 10 NEVER USED pokemon, implying they were shit and nobody would ever use them, but you were showing mons which are super useful.
Hey, I know this is a year and a half old, but you should try Head Smash Sitrus Berry Archeops. Archeops is one of the strongest and fastest hitters in NU, and it has some pretty heavy hitting attacks. Head Smash will knock out almost any neutral or weak pokemon, and with Sitrus Berry, the recoil allows you to get a second smash out of Archeops.
I thought this was a list of the least know Pokemon. Like stantler. Stantler is probably the least known Pokemon ever. Can anyone think of any lesser known ones?
+Matt McCray Pokemon are categorized by usage statistics. According to the leading community for competitive battling, all of these Pokemon fall under the "NU" Tier.
I like to run malamar with an EV investment into Hp and both defence as well as an assault vest. But I also like to use it as a rest talker with full HP and special defence investment.
Terratoidcutter XiValiant Yeah but I think you missed the part where he might only get a chance to use only ONE of those moves until he gets knocked out.
If we're talking about the never used tier, meaning smogon, couldn't you just find a more accurate list on the viability rankings? For example, Typhlosion is clearly better than pyroar overall, isn't this just an opinion piece rather than the "best"?
Malamar should be in a higher tier imo. I use him in OU with a jolly nature and investments in speed and attack and the last 4 in defense. He out-speeds most bulky mon, and I love pulling him in when someone uses sticky web. I put leftovers and protect to scout and get some HP back and rock with superpower, nightslash, and psycho cut. Once you get him rolling he is tough to beat but crippled by burns and the occasional u-turn
My favorite NU pokemon is Lilligant. First off it gets Quiver Dance which is a pretty good move, and it's also the only pokemon that has Petal Dance with the Own Tempo ability, which means it won't get confused after using Petal Dance. I've surprisingly been able to take down lots of teams with it. Unfortunately it doesn't have the greatest defenses, but if it gets its setup it can be insane!
+Dugga49 Guts ignores the attack drop from the burn, and burn doesnt take as much health as toxic orb therefore burn is much better. Holy shit why dont people understand this
i use pyroar daily. she is shiny, one hits legendarys when you train it correctly, and when i had a starter,i found a lv.5 shiny pyroar... i fell in love. i released my starter. replaced it with what is not named Duna The Flame. you have to know how to use them. my pyroar is trained to have the same stat in both ATTACK and SP. ATTACK
+Rachel Eid Check out my magmar video th-cam.com/video/t8Vls1FrMHo/w-d-xo.html The reason why those pokemon arent included in this video is because I feel that they are outclassed by the pokemon that made it in my top 10.
+Rachel Eid My brother has a seriously tough Magmar on his team, I used to underestimate it but with Evolite it's a pain to take down. He just hated the way Magmortar looked. XD
i like malamar i also like dark types in general :) i was very happy you can imagine when x and y came out and i found out about inkay and malamar. being both dark and psychic did satisfy my urge to want to catch something different at the time (satisfied my desire for something different in a pokemon).
Yeah I didn't know at first that he was talking competitive play and I thought he was just going to say all these shitty pokemon like sunkern. He should've added (NU Tier) in the title, it wouldda helped
***** Nothing about them being good or not in the title. I would have liked to know I was watching a freaking tier list before I clicked on the video...
Quagsire with Scald, EQ, Stockpile and Recover is so OP, all you need is to take out your opponents grass type Pokemon, once that is done, send him out when a physical attacking Pokemon is out and then set up 3 Stockpiles and you are almost unkillable (crits if you aren't at full HP when it happens)
I've only recently gotten into competitive battling and I usually stick to using UU and NU Pokemon. Can't say much about battles within the tiers, since the random passerbys I battle usually have higher tier Pokemon. Those still make for interesting matches. Sawsbuck turned out to be quite useful. Let him get in one Swords Dance and he wrecks the opponent's team late game. Purugly is surprisingly good as well. It's quite fast and hits unexpectedly hard with Return, often taking out the opposing sweeper easily. I also like to use Seaking. Sure, his stat's aren't the best, even compared to my other NU physical attackers, but I noticed he has a lot of trolling potential. Most people forget about his Lightning Rod ability. Or that he can destroy their frail Electric types with Drill Run. It's pretty easy to get a free turn with him to use Agility, because his not-so-high speed is probably what bothers me the most about him. Knock off is also pretty useful to get rid of items, even if he can't beat his opponent. And if all else fails, let the enemy flinch with Waterfall.
I use hariyama in doubles with trick room. it has fake out to disrupt the enemy strategy and give my trick room setter a more secure setup turn. by the second turn, the flame orb takes effect on the hariyama and it hits like a truck.
its good to see almost all the pokemon I thought people about in battles are still going strong and yea I'm the first person to introduce people to these pokemon that they always took likely.I use to love picking the weakest pokemon and then turning it to something.now I hardly play at all,but you have to be creative and like surprising people or you'll just be another trainer to beat to me.anyways good video
Is the Florges named bucket to reference the old TV show 'Keeping up appearances' because in that show there is a woman called "Hyacinth Bucket" and she would pronounce bucket as bouquet and since Florges is a flower and flowers are arranged in bouquets...
My best NU pokemon is lapras, it has high HP and some pretty good attack stats and defence stats as well as light speed. A balanced pokemon with high HP and it has heave use and puts work on my team. I run mine with high HP, good attack and slow, but not really sllw with ok deffences. The ability is awtee absorb and it hold leftovers to keep it going, and makes a great switch if you have 3 pokemon weak to water. Shell Armor, is great if your lapras has high deffencd stats and great HP.
You know why I love this list? Because you go into thorough detail about each Pokemon (moves, stats, strategies) instead of half-assing it like a TON of other people.
*looks at Jwittz*
swagg savage
jwitz doesnt do tier top 10
Thanks a lot man, glad you enjoyed it!!
Than you havent seen enough "good" top tens. Not that mine are great or anything, but my mentors are
Dont get me wrong though. This countdown is quite good
Thanks for all the positive support on this already, guys. I really tried to put a lot of work into this rather than a lot of Pokemon top 10's I have seen. I really appreciate every one of you :]
I like how you explained how to use them in battle and stuff and your sets keep these kinds of videos coming man good job👍
This top ten was so good dude. I hope to see this shit in other tiers too
I love Cradily as well :) next to it being one of my favourite designs, it's definitely very useful in competitive as well
I agree with a lot of those, excellent list. Vileplume is a monster, he just walls so many sets and can honestly top three of grass types in NU.
Great list, I'd love to see more of these! Nice explanations of their benefits.
Definitely do a series of top 10 videos!
Good video my dude! :D
dude wild cat you watch hayden thatsawsome and ily and your content
Go home go bed
Matt Boy Haydun and Wildcat did a pokemon battle video before.
link it to me
Matt Boy uuh just go to hayduns channel.
Pyroar has 109 Special Attack "It has amazing special attack"
Vileploom has 110 Special Attack "It has decent special attcak"
Wot? XD
Pichu! (He is talking when there is no investment into special attack for vileplume)
The best thing about Muk: he's always giving you the finger.
Ha
Lol
If you think Vileplume is useless...
always remember...
NUPTUP WILL DEVOUR YOUR SOUL.
PP UP for the Nuptup!!!
Is this a PBG reference?
wooflex No, it's a ProJared Reference. His Vileplume, Nuptup, was basically the MVP.
+Son Corey the Angel *was
Austin Robicheaux She is still with us, waiting for her re-awakening....in Pokemon GO!! I can just imagining chasing a rare Pokemon down my street, then it gets knocked out and caught by someone else. I turn around to see the culprit...ProJared is standing there, Nuptup at his side. Badass.
You should definetely make more top 10 videos like this one! The amount of work that was put into this is impressive.
Some of those Pokemon's nicknames just killed me, lol
Ikr lol
How to use Swellow: have flame orb, guts, facade and protect. start with a protect.
Status effects double facade's base damage of 70, making it 140. x1.5 because of guts, making it 210. x1.5 again because of stab, making it now 315, and this is not considering Swellow's stats or stat boosts, that's insane!
Lol yup use it it's amazing
but it's attack is halved by the burn
+Naruto Uzumaki guts makes it actually multiplied by 1.5
+TheBallisticPepper ahhh I'm dumb, didn't properly look up guts, I was thinking you'd still lose a bit of power before the multiplication but it completely ignores the cut in attack.
Fling acrobatics for stab+coverage againdt ghost
I always thought the PU tier was "Partially Used" lol
I was thinking poorly used
MrAirSonic practically useless
XD
Nah, PU should have been the shitty tier xD
PU doesn’t stand for nothing
Haydunn, you are a god.
I used Hariyama in my ORAS game. =3
I have a crappy move set for it though...
I used Swellow too. Caught it at level 15, pretty powerful for the level it is now.
this is for battling
Yes. I used them both through my whole game.
+Gaming Otaku Lord no like competitive online battles?
+MichaelHamsterAJ
you fucking first grader
he didnt even boasted shit about his hariyama
Swellow > Greninja
Literally have one-shotted many greninjas before they can do anything due to its higher speed and high attack combined with guts! Love Swellow! ❤️
Swallow is grey but Greninja is better by FAR
Swallow is great* but
1 other word or thing tallonflame
My vivillon has killed greninjas
Who else got this video recommended to them as recently as now? Also, the nostalgia!
Then do it, change some minds about those Pokes and bump them up a few tiers.
The thing is the tiers aren't where they can play it's where they are the most balanced. Rampardos can pack a punch but it's shit speed and defenses not to mention lack of a secondary stab makes it balanced in pu. It can be used in higher tiers. But it's the most balanced in pu. I don't have anything against rampardos. I just found it the easiest to explain why it's pu. Also golem> rampardos.
Tiers don't decide how powerful a pokemon is, tiers are just based on usage. The most important determinant of any battle is player skill...
Kenneth Okubo I did say that "player skill" has a lot to do with winning...
Şomehow Haydunn sounds like Christopher Walken in this video at times.
Lol my voice was a little raspy because I'm recovering from being sick
***** Why havent you done omega ruby after story?
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that haha Especially when he says "vileplume" XD
***** can you do an impression of him?
No Christopher sounds like haydunn
I just realised that the Ability "Scrappy" is a reference to Scrappy Doo.
How e.e
Scrappy - the ability to hit ghosts with Normal type moves.
Scrappy doo was famous for trying to punch ghosts "Lemme at 'em, lemme at 'em"
Really Twisted Humor You just blew my mind. Thank you for bringing up pleasant memories of my childhood
you didnt mention my personal favorite NU wall, Ludicolo. With rain dance, giga drain, leech seed and a water stab (i like scald for its attack weakening capabilities) he can be incredibly bulky and quite annoying to handle. I give him big root or leftovers too just to max out on that regen
Vivillon? meh...
**After used**
WTF THIS THING DESTROYS A MEGA RAYQAUZA!!!
Sean Sddq it can sleep powder quiver dance... You shit be ded
Sean Sddq vivillion is faster sleep powder quiver dance. HURRICANE
my bro defeated requaza with lvl 40 and requaza is 70 but he kept not saving it because he wanted to catch it he was pushing my head when caught it and he said my lucky head cause he took 4 hrs
+PokeJay Jireh I hate that with all my hate, bloody compound eyes almost as bad as shell smash cloyster.
+PokeJay Jireh yup, I swept a whole team of legendaries many times with sleep powder, quiver dance, hurricane
Haryama is one of my favorite Pokemon
+Chase Helmer It's the evolved form of my favorite pokemon!
+Chase Helmer really......
Dude i used hariyama in my pokemon omega ruby to me its pretty op
Taylor Hale heck yeah ma'am rock lee is my favorite from Naruto and Hairyama is one of my favorites from nostalgia :)
I think Lilligant is amazing in the NU tier.
+Shadowheart 96 it's decent, but relies on quiver dance set up
+Haydunn true and petal dance
+Haydunn what about snorlax?
+Josue De la cruz snorlax is an under used pokemon
+Shadowheart 96 agreed
I just made the top 100 in XY by using a Golem. Had endure, custap berry, sturdy, stealth rock, and EdgeQuake combo. No one knew what to do with it, especially when I paired it with a t-wave gyarados for awesome type coverage.
Nice man
Endure and sturdy?
Sturdy is an ability. Endure is a move.
+Kurt Viehdorfer i got that lol, why have both?
Because people predict the sturdy and go for a weaker move initially. The endure gets the backup and allows the use of Custap berry, which is extremely beneficial due to Golem's high attack power.
magmortar > pyroar until i die, also malamar is by far the best. maybe not in this meta game, but when hes on a mono-dark team and he saves me lone-wolf style when i fight mono-fighting, hes beast.
It would be funny if arceus was number 666
It would be very ironic
ironic? or appropriate ...
+Nø Game Nø Lev no that wouldn't also be funny
+Nø Game Nø Lev Because 3 is the number of God and perfection, and 6 is the number of man and imperfection. Therefore, 666 is the number of the devil and sin because it symbolizes man trying to become God. So Pokemon's "God" being No. 666 would reflect the fact that it's not actually God, but just a powerful Pokemon worshiped as a divine being. But instead, No. 666 is a butterfly. A goddamn butterfly.
+TigerMan3201 Which is pretty funny too.
i've been using a vivillon that can take out pretty much anything as long as the vivi doesn't die before making it's very first move (except some special cases). Ability: compound eyes. what does BL, UU, RU,and PU stand for?
+AtomicPunisher666 BL is borderline
UU is underused
RU is rarelyused
and I don't know what PU stands for
PU doesnt stand for anything, it really just refers to the expression "P.U." when people say something stinks
AW HELL YEAH. MUK. Evolved form of me. ;)
Hiiiii ELLIOT
Sup dude
Nayeem Haque Eyyyyy
Guess what?
What's Muk backwards?
ryan moran I will Muk backwards all over your face if you tell me another overused joke.
I love your videos Haydunn! You've really helped me how to figure out to build a good team, and your other videos are sweet!
All these years later and Haydunn still affects my go-to Pokemon choices.
I wonder how many people don't understand that Never Used is a tier and doesn't actually mean that people never use them.
A Word Zat Rhymes With Orange
Door hinge. Or fringe.
Shiny Malamar look like a Super Saiyan.
Am i the only one who died from the nicknames?
Yes yes you were
Naming a Granbull "ImOnMyPeriod" is such an insult to women!
True, but despite being a woman, I took it as a joke and laughed anyway.
Jasmine Johnston then stop being so stupid aggressive when on your period :v
As much as we wish we could stop being so stupid aggressive when on our periods, we actually CAN'T take that advice. It's physically impossible. Sorry, godofwar078.
You should make an updated one now that gen 9 is out
10-Vivillion...Bug
9-Hariyama...Fighting
8-Mismagious...Ghost
7-Swellow...Flying.Normal
6-Pyroar...Normal.Fire
5-Vileplume...Grass.Poison
4-Cradilly...Grass.Rock
3-Malimar...Dark . Psychic
2-Qwagsire...Ground.Water
1-Muk...Poison.

Yes it does heal, but the healing doesn't increase. When it comes to poison heal and toxic boost, badly poisoned and poisoned act the same.
Vincent Bronuskas thanks
Aage Grenchik Um, no... Vincent is right. it heals 1/8th regardless of poison or toxic poison... I'm not sure why you would post this BS after someone answered the question honestly...
When I first got my Emerald, i was using muk, but then I read that it's sp. attack was low because the best move back then was sludge bomb and I left it behind...
Poison type moves were physical back then, so....
Probably but when you migrate them, the stats change.
would really love if you did another one of these. found it to be a fun topic and a lot of these pokes are some of my new fav competitive guys
I like to use a physical Pyroar. Choice band with moxie. Retaliate, Flame Charge, and anything else you want. Not much other moves to use... Depends on what you want to run... Just max speed and attack with either adamant or jolly.
1 million HYPE!!!!!!!!!
Battled NU yesterday, saw all 10 of these guys on 1 team
all 10 in a party of 6? wat
What an idiot :D
How about zangoose? zangoose + toxic orb + toxic boost + facade = CHAOS
Tony Beuwolf also it learns moves like close combat, x-scissor, all the elemental punches, shadow claw, poison jab, and rock slide. it's coverage is amazing, it could be unstoppable if given the chance
Joy Edbert It can be stalled to kill it with it's own poison
Diego Rojas but his blow is so strong, apart from stallers he can pretfy much deal with it
Joy Edbert Yeah but pokes with protect and substitute that are faster would stop him
Diego Rojas Protect is a priority move, which means regardless of speed you move first.
that hoodie allen intro tho! love it!!

Acctualy it stands for partially used. Which doesn't make sense. Never sounds like less then partial lol.

dude it was a mystery gift for x and y a year ago
+Sacred Gamer i didnt know... to this time i even didnt know how events work and codes and so
No. You're the only person in the entire world with a set of eyeballs. Check your privilege.
Pyroar reminds me of Teostra from monster hunter.
I was confused. the list is called top 10 NEVER USED pokemon, implying they were shit and nobody would ever use them, but you were showing mons which are super useful.
Never Used is a tier calles NU
+N813 GAMING called*
you are right wizardbobo.... this is a dumb video
he's talking about WiFi battles
The video isn't misleading at all. You guys are just misinterpreting "Never used."
MORE TOP TENS!!!!!!! KEEP THEM UP THEY ARE GREAT!
Hey, I know this is a year and a half old, but you should try Head Smash Sitrus Berry Archeops. Archeops is one of the strongest and fastest hitters in NU, and it has some pretty heavy hitting attacks. Head Smash will knock out almost any neutral or weak pokemon, and with Sitrus Berry, the recoil allows you to get a second smash out of Archeops.
shiny swallow looks really badass
I thought this was a list of the least know Pokemon. Like stantler. Stantler is probably the least known Pokemon ever. Can anyone think of any lesser known ones?
i would wager dunsparce
Sentret & furret
I would say krickotot (i think that is his name lol)
There's a certain pokemon I always forget about, but I always loved, and when I mention it, no one knows it
Carbink
since when has Swellow been a "not used Pokemon" I used to play with swellow more than all my Pokemon
+Matt McCray Pokemon are categorized by usage statistics. According to the leading community for competitive battling, all of these Pokemon fall under the "NU" Tier.
+Matt McCray This. Swellow is great :3
+Matt McCray swellow is pretty swell
+Matt McCray You fucking suck thats why
+Matt McCray You fucking suck thats why
I like to run malamar with an EV investment into Hp and both defence as well as an assault vest. But I also like to use it as a rest talker with full HP and special defence investment.
Awesome list Hayden! ^^
Top 10 worse NU Pokes
That would just be the ten lowest on the viability ranks. lol
Well we all know Deliberd is by far the worst
King Ursaring Delibird is a good lead/hazard stacker. lol
He gets moves like:
Rapid spin, Spikes, Counter, Destiny Bond, and Ice Shard.
Terratoidcutter XiValiant Yeah but I think you missed the part where he might only get a chance to use only ONE of those moves until he gets knocked out.
Do you know what Hyper Offence is? lol
Sash him. :]
Vivillon is pronounced viv ee on. Just so you know. (it's French, you know, like the whole of Kalos). And there certainly isn't a 3rd i.
then why do we pronounce the s in florges
fuck ya croissant ppl
Oh ya
I use about 40% of the Pokemon on here.
+MrStrawHat so 4 of them
+Feral 72 You were right
+Feral 72 About. Maybe even five or three. :P 35 would be strange tho.
Is your sarcasm too advanced or do you actually think five or three is 40% of 10 lol
*****
Well can you put someone in half and say he's less than one now? xD I think you can only say he's dead.
Oh damn, I had no idea about Muk! Thank you for opening my eye about it, I will totally catch one! You earned a new subscriber.
One thing I like about Pyroar is how it's evolution is similar to Espurr - the gender changes its appearance in a major way.
What about Electivire and Liepard?
Darriendds I use liepard, i only use dark or fairy pokemon :3
If we're talking about the never used tier, meaning smogon, couldn't you just find a more accurate list on the viability rankings? For example, Typhlosion is clearly better than pyroar overall, isn't this just an opinion piece rather than the "best"?
He said "my top ten"
He said in the beginning "my opinion
Typholsion isn't better overall.
He said at the beginning of the video it was his opinion.
Megazard Z Did you read the description?
But my favorite butterfly of death is Butterfree... (Yes, I know, it's not exactly great, but still.)
Tinted lens can make it a serious threat. It screws with Pokémon who use resistances over raw stats to try and wall you.
Nathan Bremer :3
Unfortunately it doesn't have the greatest defenses, but if it gets its setup it can be insane!
toxic orb doesn't compromise your attack. better than flame orb
+Dugga49 Guts ignores the attack drop from the burn, and burn doesnt take as much health as toxic orb therefore burn is much better. Holy shit why dont people understand this
+Haydunn finaly someone say this. Thanks.
+Haydunn I guess you got those 3k likes you asked for lol. So where's the next countdown broskidoodles?
+Haydunn well... i dident know... why are you yelling at me,, atleast i knew that Burn Hurt my Atk....
+Haydunn what about SHUCKLE?!
Lol the butterfly
you sound like chrisopher walken on occasion. great video though.
I was thinking this the whole way through the video!
i use pyroar daily.
she is shiny, one hits legendarys when you train it correctly, and when i had a starter,i found a lv.5 shiny pyroar... i fell in love.
i released my starter. replaced it with what is not named Duna The Flame.
you have to know how to use them. my pyroar is trained to have the same stat in both ATTACK and SP. ATTACK
Nice intro bro :D! Btw love you vids.
3:41
Krusty Krab
lol
Ikr lol
When I saw the Vileplume, I thought "Nuptup will dominate the world"
I hope someone gets my reference
I do
+DeilWithIt NUPTUP THE GOD
Nuptup rules all!
What about heatmor? And magmar? No one EVER uses them
+Rachel Eid Check out my magmar video th-cam.com/video/t8Vls1FrMHo/w-d-xo.html
The reason why those pokemon arent included in this video is because I feel that they are outclassed by the pokemon that made it in my top 10.
I use em all de time
my bro had lvl 100 magmar
+Rachel Eid My brother has a seriously tough Magmar on his team, I used to underestimate it but with Evolite it's a pain to take down. He just hated the way Magmortar looked. XD
i like malamar
i also like dark types in general
:)
i was very happy you can imagine when x and y came out and i found out about inkay and malamar. being both dark and psychic did satisfy my urge to want to catch something different at the time (satisfied my desire for something different in a pokemon).
Considering I don't competitive battle because I know nothing about doing it, this was very very helpful, and interesting.
PU practically useless
Tyler Jaremanko I thought it meant that the Pokèmon in this tier stink
Tyler Jaremanko PU means nothing
Tyler Jaremanko PU means its smelly
Not to be an ass or anything but this video should of been ,top ten best never used Pokemon for competitive play
Agreed
Yeah I didn't know at first that he was talking competitive play and I thought he was just going to say all these shitty pokemon like sunkern. He should've added (NU Tier) in the title, it wouldda helped
Burn halves attack...
Not if you have guts.
So guts ignores the stat change of burn?
+Alex Kitchens yea it does it infact increases it
When a pokemon with Guts gets burned its attack does not change. That is why pokemon with Guts are given Toxic Orbs normally.
+Małża Małgorzata Thats wrong.
Love the hoodie Allen intro man
Nice list! I'd hope to see Zangoose and Tauros on here as well, but I don't even know which tier they currently are in.
Seriously, this is a very misleading title.
Matthew O'Connor Not at all. These are all pokemon in the NU tier meaning "Never Used"
***** Nothing about them being good or not in the title. I would have liked to know I was watching a freaking tier list before I clicked on the video...
I kind of agree. I think that it was an awesome video, but I think that maybe you could have said NU instead of Never Used, just to avoid confusion.
First!
To suck ass
*middle finger*
Ha
***** Sniper
Blue shell
The INTRO IS AMAZING
loving the nicknames of these pokemon!! especially the LoZ reference :P
What's the name of the music which started from 5:09 ???
Is the Florges named bucket to reference the old TV show 'Keeping up appearances' because in that show there is a woman called "Hyacinth Bucket" and she would pronounce bucket as bouquet and since Florges is a flower and flowers are arranged in bouquets...
I use Vivillon on my XY battle team and I think its pretty effective his Sleep Powder > Quiver Dance > Hurricane/Bug Buzz combo...
Grats on the 1,000,000 views!
What was the song from number 3?
would love to see another list like this
My best NU pokemon is lapras, it has high HP and some pretty good attack stats and defence stats as well as light speed.
