I have snuck my small 268 watt station into the library. Does the coffee shops ever say anything to you about charging your power station and how big is it?
@@Ohiostategenerationx library is probably better and yeah they COULD say something about my 1000 watt but i bring my Bluetti because it is smaller and I can charge everything from that.
@ I agree, but they are talking so well about the elite 200 that is tempting to get the new technology, I also think the AC200L is beefier and more heavy duty. Also what size/watts of a solar panel should I get for the AC200L, I’m thinking on buying them use, do you think is a good idea Thanks for responding !
Would you be able to make a splitter with selector switch? I have AC200L and plug-in portable panels everyday. I now also have Charger 1, I just haven't installed it yet. I delayed because, it seems i am to plug Charger 1 into to the exact same input port as my portable solar panels. Plugging, then unplugging, every time I drive would not be my first choice. It's such a stretch to get to the socket. So I'm wondering if a switching junction box could be safely made- but only if it is safe and advisable
Another thorough presentation and an easy setup. Being universal and simple is where the charger shines. Can we run multiple in parallel to charge our 24V house batteries?? 😅
you could do that but then youre swapping dc to ac, back to dc. the cost for an inverter and wiring is probably not going to be cheaper than this $250 unit. In theory it can be done but I don't believe the charger one is expensive or stupid.
@nomadbrad503 Anyone who has done this knows you can buy a 1200w inverter for around $100 + cabling, and charge your unit much faster thru the ac port, converting ac to DC and back is no problem, your driving the vehicle anyway, so what have you lost? Most people who do van life know this is a far better way! But then there not just promoting items to get free stuff. Now as for me, I have 2 3000w low frequency units, not this high frequency crap, with 10kwh of lithium batteries, so 4 or 500w dc to dc would take over 20 hrs to charge, that would just be stupid, of coarse charging this way from my car is just a backup to my 5kw solar, and my gas generator. Redundancy is always a must, but hey, I'm just some idiot on the net
For $400 I will continue to drag my power stations into Starbucks. But it is a great idea.

@Applecider-Poetry ok
As usual amazing tips and made easy to understand for beginners. Thanks for what you do Brad. Hope many blessings come your way.
I appreciate that!
Thanks for this Brad and it’s still on sale for $249 cables included. We’ll be using ours when the time comes to install our system with 24v
Let me know how you like it, I’d love to hear about your setup!
I just bought one and waiting for my rv guy! AC200L here
im happy to hear this!
@@kadogshowtv7222 let me know how you like it and your opinion about it, are you installing solar panels ?
@@Alesandro113 Will do once everything is set! yes I will be installing a solar panel :)
i dont get it. how is it workin without the alternator? cuts off at a certain voltage?
yes it stops charging once the voltage of your car battery drops.
How you like the bluetti elite 200 v2, or would you recommend ac200l?
I prefer the AC200L because if its 120v 30A output

You can use a splitter to connect panels and the charger 1. You would have to diy a selector switch but it wouldn’t be too difficult
There is AC200L.. I saw it ;)
i might need new glasses 😂
Will a hybrid recharge this?
Yes

As long as your alternator can handle it
Where is the new truck build videos? :) Are you aware of technobarbarian? He does a lot of things right imo.
12v in, 12v out?
Minimum output is 15 volts. Too much to charge a 12v battery bank unfortunately
Why all the cost and stupidity? Car battery---> ac inverter-----> 120v charging---->faster----->cheaper
