Team Any Pond are just amazing! You boys worked hard and produced an amazing pond. You certainly have given the homeowners gold. What a fabulous addition to their garden - good job boys
Hello ive recently dug a pond and put koi and goldfish in all seems well but it’s started to get really cold where I am in Cornwall my pond is about 3foot deep is that okay or should I lift it all up and go deeper ? Love the content it’s really helpful and enjoyable to watch 🙏🏻
Would like some advice please. I have a hozelock pond vac, but it sucks up gravel and gets blocked, might of made mistake of using gravel. Is there a solution please
Built a few hybrids, but found pulling water from multiple places was fighting the ecosystem, so now only build with a skimmer, intake or skim cover then add return jets in multiple places when going over two feet deep
@@ThePondAdvisor yes understood drains will be flushed not premiant intake to filter , air stones in deep water skimmers doing the lions share of the work thanks for reply
Last night raccoons ate all my fish and ruined all the floating plants. I tried netting and tarps. Eventually last night came with a vengeance. Any suggestions?
We don’t have raccoons in the UK so will have to ask others. The only thing I would think is places for the fish to hide, think of a coral reef with small fish and sharks swimming around.

Spot on, what about the urban fox that came the first day the pond had water in it
@@ThePondAdvisor Yes, didn't care, drank water straight from the pond and got lost in the bushes😂

3 foot is more than deep enough

Not sure if hozelock provide a gravel attachments, skimmer and waterfall filter will stop the gravel filling up with waste, we don't vac our ponds.
@@ThePondAdvisor thank you for replying. I've got an all in one that sits in pond! Think I've made lots of mistakes
@@debzyoung3353 no problem, its our pleasure, we all start somewhere,
Im planning a hybrid pond similar to this as is . then with a 5ft section with bottom drain
