I was never happy with it from the beginning and had to get it tuned by another dealership while under warranty but I’m free now to make some power and deal with the heat here FL. 2021 FLHTK HD SE 131 kit pumping out 150hp 162tq, added Max-cell 837b cam & racing lifters, S&S adjustable push rods, rocker arm studs, lifter cuffs. ARP cylinder studs, S&S head bolts, ECU-Maxx tune. Fullsac header, Khrome Werks slip-ons (wish I did D&D 2x1 more power) Cool-flow fan, Man-O-War compensator, Trask basket, G3 Carbonite clutch disks, SE pressure plate, 1275 springs. I must add one thing, Replace the OIL Pump! I know I have experienced sumping issues, Swapping oil pump in two weeks. :(

I found myself in the same situation with my factory 128 SE was happy then had a 114 with an aftermarket cam tune intake run the balls off my bike and that was it warranty is gone and now she's doing ALOT better. I'm very curious about doing an e85 tune 🤔

Great info & video. The HD SE 131 kit (or crate engine) is fine if doing a pure Warranty build, for those worried about that (warranty). Personally, I don't care [about warranty] once I've put around 2500 miles on a new bike and have had no issues. I actually prefer to not go the HD SE route, but rather go with (examples): S&S 132 Top End Big Bore Kit (uses 114/117 stock stroke flywheel); S&S 131 Stroker Kit (4.625" Stroke x 4.250" Bore); T-Man Performance 130 Top End Kit (4.280" Bore with stock stroke 114/117 flywheel); various 128 Kits (S&S, Fuel Moto, etc.). However, right now, I'm building my '21RGS (equipped w/S&S 465 Cam Chest Kit; S&S 2-1; Fuel Moto 3956 A/C; Dynojet PV3B Tuner) into a 120 cu. in. mild build (4.500" stroke x 4.125" bore). Using Carillo 10.75:1 Forged PIstons and machining an extra set of 114 cylinders I have. Plan to also do some upgrades to an extra set of Heads. Ialso have a S&S 55mm ported intake manifold for it. My focus for this build is to have early torque that pulls good to 4000+, for 2-up riding, hills, curves, etc. With my combo now at 114, I'm averaging 46.4 mpg on 91 octane gasoline cruising at 70-75mph. The bike pulls great from just off idle to well past 4250+ rpm.
My bike is a 21 and has fueling reaper 472 and jackpot 2-1 exhaust. I’m curious if anyone has done 128” with 10.75 comp becuase don’t really want to change cams but…. If it’s worth doing so I would. My goal is 140trq or so I do 2 up riding mostly so not looking for drag bike. But still like to surprise people

My engine dynoed out at 140.24 torque from 3,200 to 4,800 RPMS and 136.22 HP at 5,750 RPM. I only have to turn the throttle a 1/4 turn to pass slower cars on the interstate at 75 mph and I get almost the same fuel mileage as I did on my 114-inch build and with the exact same performance parts. Riding on the highway at a steady speed of 70 mph I get 215 miles out of five gallons of gas. I had the 128-inch build done on my 114-inch engine when it had 41,042 miles. I now have 182 miles short of 87,000 miles on my 128-inch build and it's been as reliable as a Timex watch.
@@officialmac My experience like many others is due to 3rd gear being too hard and teeth shear from the power. Known issue. Also You are not running lockups drag racing so you can slip. It's not if it's when. Nice content and appreciate the interaction.
The difference is we put these bikes on the limiter... we do 140+ mph so 300miles ain't just sitting back with the cruise control on really not the same

Ask jorge, if he offer a full unlimited mileage warranty for 2 years and able to ride the way I ride my oem Harley, literally the living piss out of it. Cause there is a difference, these bikes are designed and engineered to survive at least 60.000miles within 2 years, and Harley will back that up with their warranty. You cant build a full blown high horsepower 131 and expect it to hold up the same way. Again, not trying to talk smack but Harley has a shit ton of money to throw at development and research, more then any 3rd party builder could do. But yea he build some bad ass motors but you can’t compare it.

Iv been preaching E85 for years in my hotrod cars and iv always wanted to try it on my bike! Glad to see someone doing it!

Didn't see a grudgebox? r&d reworked gearset or stock? Stock wont hold long. Learned that hard way with my 124" with 157hp/141tq SAE.
Squeezing the clutch is why people break the transmission... 90% of our bikes run a stock transmission really no issues
