These park trips are gonna be everlasting memories for you and your daughter, especially as she grows up. Such sweet memories. She's so sweet and funny! Kings Island is the bomb!!!
Hey im that dude from holiday world. Im glad you guys enjoyed kings island. It was nice meeting you guys. Sorry for the closing of the rides and long delays. We just like to make sure of things before anything can happens. There also rides that can't operate in the rain such as woodstock air rail but im happy you both had a good day and loved the fireworks show. Maybe i will run into you guys at your home park or parks lol.
As a father of an eight year old daughter, and someone who would call kings island their home park, I really enjoyed watching you all have a good time there together! Have a safe rest of your trip guys!
This is so cool watching you both enjoy KI. I never realized how Lucky I have been to grow up 15 minutes from KI. Also lucky I was able to go to Cincinnati’s Coney Island before KI. I’m 67 now and had 3 back surgeries in the last 3 years and can’t ride anymore. Thanks for sharing your videos with us on TH-cam! What a great trip with your daughter! Enjoy life and keep having fun! Chris, Cbtrainnut on TH-cam!
Glad you enjoyed Kings Island! This was the park I grew up going to. Nothing like riding the Beast at night you need to try that if you ever get back. Also woodstock express used to be called the Beastie!
Great video! A little racer info...the blue side races the red side. Also, they used to go backwards, which was amazing! You should come back for Halloween Haunt. Lots of fun!
I'm from Troy, Ohio, about 1 hour away from Kings Island. This is my home amusement park. The Beast is the longest wooden roller-coaster in the world, my favorite ride
Commenting this before I get to the end of the video. But if you two didn't get to ride The Beast at night, that visit next time you go, you definitely have to try it's awesome.
I used to live an hour from Kings Island. I moved away and now my home park is Cedar Point. I miss King's Island so much. I know the beast can be a little rough, but it's still a great coaster. If you can ride it at the beginning of the season, it's not too rattly. If you can ride it at night it is so much fun. I have 2 kids and my oldest is kind of scared of roller coasters, and my youngest is just a bit too short for the big coasters but can't wait to be tall enough.
The Bat ride that you said had a very long line line was originally called Top Gun all they did was change the name of the coaster to The Bat and of course they took out all the fighter pilot stuff. The only thing left from the original ride other than the coaster is that giant flag painting. I miss coasters like the Vortex and King Cobra but they tore them all out. Also the area above the entrance is a restaurant called International Restaurant. I don't know if it's still open but have eaten there years ago back in the Hanna Barbara days .
"The Brady Bunch'" episode where they went to King's Island amusement park was basically a promotion for the new amusement park.I was thirteen years old when I first watched the episode and never thought that t was a promotion for the park.I just enjoyed the episode because "The Brady Bunch" and "The Partridge Family" were two of my favorite shows.
Ah yes. As a verified Ohioan I am very pleased that I live 20 minutes away from Kings Island. The food, the rides, and even soak city is a blast! I’ve been there so many times this Summer and can’t wait to go again this winter.
Kings Island is a beautiful park! My top fav are Orion, diamondback, and banshee. It’s a unique place. I suggest ride Banshee. And Orion. Maybe ride all of them, lol. I only been to Kings Island twice and it’s my fav park. It has everything to offer!
The Racer usually only runs one side until the park gets busy enough and then they will open the other side. So if you're there on a slow day only one side might be open, it's been like that for a number of years now. I hope you guys got a night ride on The Beast, it might not be the best or most insane wooden coaster, but it gives one of the best night rides.
Kings Island does multiple events in the fall, including Halloween stuff, but they are only open at certain days and hours towards the end of the season
this is my hometown amusement park i had a season pass here since i was 8 years old every single year! i'm 48 now and still get a pass every year, the Halloween and xmas time is fun there too
yall would of loved it about 10 years ago we had a coaster called vortex one of the best, and we had this one where you stand up on the coaster it had loop and corkscrews called king cobra... a lot of coasters here are long gone i liked the firehawk because you go up the first hill laying on your back lol like looking up at the sky... they changed the racer one side used to go forward and the other side went backwards when you raced
A little background on The Bat...the reason the que to ride was so long was because when Paramount owned KI it was "Top Gun" (hence the flag on the wall) and was immensely popular back in the day. KI is my home park and it's phenomenal.
I go there twice a year and I live in Georgia. Not far from six flags. I use to live in Kentucky went every year as a kid. I went to Six Flags once and I left before 1 pm and never went there again. The operations was terrible the ride times was insane.
I haven't been to King's Island in years. I've been to Cedar Point about 10 years ago. If I was to do both, which one should I do first, to build up to the best?
The father of Kings Island left to build Kings Dominion. This is why they are similar. Below is a link to the history of Kings Island and why this park is so significant to the coasters of today. Of course, the Brady Bunch was a key piece of the marketing. A good movie about the history of, famous people who have worked at Kings Island, potentially questionable business ethics and much more. Also KI has a lot of B&M because their steel fabricator is 10 mins down the road. Basically no shipping costs. th-cam.com/video/3qXCFVrzXuE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=5hpUURKjuGTjCv8s
You have to have knowledge of the history of the coasters and themes from the Paramount times... Bat used to be Top Gun and yes the line was that long at times 😂

Don’t go into the shed- “Why are we going into the shed?!?!” Your daughter makes me laugh all the time

Riding the beast at night is amazing! You should def go back for that!
Glad you enjoyed Kings Island! This was the park I grew up going to. Nothing like riding the Beast at night you need to try that if you ever get back. Also woodstock express used to be called the Beastie!
I think the beast is the greatest coster all time
Great video. Been going to KI since the 90’s when Paramount Pictures owned the park.
Going back soon ❤. LOVE LOVE LOVE King's Island!! You literally CAN'T go wrong with it.
Thanks for the video. KI doesn’t allow on ride video. Were you able to get an exception?
I’ve been going to kings island for 25 years now. Getting to see my little girl enjoy kings island as much as I did when I was a kid is awesome.
The Bat or as I knew it Top Gun was my favorite ride as a coaster loving kind…and when it first opened that line would be totally full.
Love watching your videos. Looks like it was a great time :) keep up the great videos guys
When I have time to settle into your videos I love it. The perfect mix of trip reports park tours and pov !
Commenting this before I get to the end of the video. But if you two didn't get to ride The Beast at night, that visit next time you go, you definitely have to try it's awesome.
I rode that the other day and it was so dark I literally screamed the whole ride cause I was so excited.
everyone should visit kings island atleast once in their life.
Love these videos. I'm glad you guys are having a great time! ❤
This park looks like a must-visit! Wow! Great video as always
Me, Being Lucky To Call This My Home Park, A Must Visit Is A Severe Understatement, If You Can Get To It, Get To It!
@@Mjhiles yeah this has shot to the top of our list. We definitely will be
@@WeAreSimplyAG I would recommend diamondback, mystic timbers, Orion, and and the beast the most, have fun when u do go
My local park, Kings Island always does a great job.
I went to Kings Island a couple years ago. The thing that really impressed me was their wooden roller coasters they take very good care of those.
You two chose a great year to visit Kings Island. They just recently re-tracked The Beast 2 years ago.
A night ride on the beast will change your life!
If you ever come back you should do a night ride on The Beast
Kings island is our home park and we love it!! How do you get them to let you film it?? I pull out phone and get yelled at lol. Plus’s a gimbal!!
I used to live an hour from Kings Island. I moved away and now my home park is Cedar Point. I miss King's Island so much. I know the beast can be a little rough, but it's still a great coaster. I've waited in line all the way before the American Flag to ride Top Gun when it was new!
@@Jay73425 Yup😁👍
The Beast at night will always be my favorite ride.
Lighting can strike up to 10 miles from the actual storm. They probably have lighting detectors.

I live in northern Ohio and it’s funny because I live in like the exact distance from like 3 different parks all in different directions.
Kings Island is a beautiful park! My top fav are Orion, diamondback, and banshee. It’s a unique place. I suggest ride Banshee. And Orion. Maybe ride all of them, lol. I only been to Kings Island twice and it’s my fav park. It has everything to offer!
The blue Racer dose run it just only runs in the afternoon
You guys are great. Keep the videos coming.
Super cool vid. Awesome…sincerely.
I unfortunately must issue negative credits for passing up cheese coneys, Smurf cones and LaRosa slices.

This channel is very underrated, cant believe you guys only have 2.68k. Everyone sub to feel the air!
I saw your guys names on the bridge at knoebels yesterday and was hoping to see you guys sometime

Cool I live in Maryland, Harford County.

Yep. Rode it back when it first opened (and many times after). The line filled the entire queue. Long wait but worth it for a first ride.
Looks fun
What camera do you use to record? Is it in your watch? I’m just curious how you get these great POVs.
Your a good dad.
that peanuts thing where the character was was a Scooby-Doo-themed haunted house years ago
I go there twice a year and I live in Georgia. Not far from six flags. I use to live in Kentucky went every year as a kid. I went to Six Flags once and I left before 1 pm and never went there again. The operations was terrible the ride times was insane.

Cedar Point then Kings Island.
KI then Cedar Point.
Why was the banshee POV actually cursed?

Kings Island used to be owned by Paramount Studios, so some of the rides, including The Bat, used to be called and themed too Top Gun.
4:56 EVERY park and funfair in the UK call these Dodgems and pretty much always have.
Did you find my orange cylinder with my sketches in it?? Mr phillips is jacked!!
No, but we saw a bunch of kids running through the parks constantly handing one off to each other!
@@feeltheair1217 lol!!! Thats great. Lol!!!
Amusement parks!!!!!
What are you using for the POV videos on the coasters?
Im gonna say it. Kings Island > Cedar Point.
I may go there soon at the end of the month. Do you think it will be worth it?
Very much so
We hope you enjoy your day at kings island if you go
Do Gold passes work for all the parks now? I thought they were only for the individual parks
You can buy the all parks upgrade for about $100.
@@feeltheair1217 Ah I see
What did you use to take footage on the rides?
I wish I could go to orion
