The packs are cool, but lack of any attempt at back ventilation is a fail in my eyes. I live in a hot climate, any mesh on the back is much appreciated here.
Good presentation. You missed your calling as camera bag salesman! Joking aside, these guys are just killing it in the features and design. I personally cannot use a backpack for work anymore. The act of removing the bag, finding a spot to put it down, switch lenses while holding the camera...I'd rather take one or two fewer lenses and use a shoulder bag instead. So I have four WC 3.5L Pilots. I hope WC will make us a 5L shoulder bag, something just big enough for a 2-body/3-lens carry. I also have the 7L which works well for that, but it could stand to lose a bit of bulk for those all-day walks. Keep up the solid work, Justin!
The slow-mo sexy bag scenes have me laughing. I so much want to like a bag from this company. I like their look. I like they aren’t made in china. But everyone always has a personal fatal flaw.

How does this compare to the Pilot 18L backpack? I like that this one is lighter but seems a little less functional than the Pilot backpack.

It’s a good point , I’m in Vietnam where it’s also hot and humid and I sweat a ton and I’ve found them to be pretty good at night getting disgusting.
