That's why I am a big fan of AC franchise since the first game, because I love history and historical fiction stories. Ubisoft's visual adaptation of famous landmarks at their most significant era in history is a thing of beauty and that's a reason enough to enjoy the games. I only wish that Ubisoft handled the franchise slightly different instead of connecting everything with assassins through history. Completely different historical fiction stories with a different main character in each era without the assassin bloodline connection and sci-fi elements could also be great. Playing an hashashin in the first game's era was great, but the other era's characters could exist without assassin roots. Yeah, I know that I'm criticizing the main reason of the franchise's given name.
Can we have a history of America during Assassins creed 3, and the other games? These are very educational and interesting as someone who loves history and ac, this is among my favorite videos

I would like to revisit this period in a game. Very interesting. Peaked with the crusades and the renaissance for me. Revolutionary war was great but convoluted by the rushed story to meet the 2012 deadline.
Im surprised Ubisoft still knows their games used to be based off of real history. Too bad they lost sight of that and started making fantasy games with mythical creatures and flaming spears. Appreciate this video people. This is when Assassins Creed was good, and actually Assasins Creed.
There was also a new Altair collectible at the official Ubisoft store that came out couple months ago. U know, just a random Altair collectible. Hopefully they’re trying to hype up a remake
Now this is a remaster I would buy. Not s remained port but from the ground up using all the lessons they learned and technologies, while retaining its core. Imagine the possibilities to explore! Doesn’t even have to be completely open world
Why release this video after so many years of release... But I'm still glad about it. I thought people forgot this game. I got so into this game so much that I already learned about the history, facts and places while playing the game the last year. It's wonderful and anyone can easily play Assassin's Creed 1 even today. Two things are more realistic than the new entries in the series, first is acrobatics (especially climbing) your character is not overpowered and he takes his time to climb buildings... Second is combat, he can't defeat unlimited enemies with only his fists like in AC 3, 4 or Rogue lol. And also eavesdropping and hiding (not in hay) is also much better and believable.
Yeah, one of the reasons it's one of my favorite Assassin's Creed. Way more immersive and realistic. It was also more serious and grounded than the most recent ones, who are goofy and full of fantasy.
This is precisely what I love about these games, where as a (great) game like Skyrim has you remembering their politics, history and geography, why not set these games in history so we can walk away from the game with some new-found knowledge. Or at least feeling inspired to do your own extensive research!
Good luck making a video like this for Odyssey lol "Uhh, people wanted ancient Greece right? Here's like 30 identical copy-and-pasted towns, also the peloponnesian war is barely prevalent in the game, but... here's a random obligatory beach battle."
Ty McNasty the graphics should be a mix of the newest assassins creed and revelations, and the gameplay feels like unity but also have better cutscenes
Well, it seems a bit unlikely since China has already been (at least partially) covered in AC China, the 2.5D-game. Vikings might be interesting though.
I didn't know all this kind of context behind the history of the first AC. I love how they made a game that has a lot of historical details that a person that doesn't know about the Crusade can enjoy with the visual effects of every city. The first AC is one of the best games of all the times.
It was never tactical or realistic. Lol who are you fooling? The missions are linear it got worse by the time AC3 released. AC2 is probably the only way non linear gameplay but even that game still makes you do things their way. Nothing about this game was tactical.

Please make a complete remake with modern graphics, with gameplay also being refined but still true to the original, everyone would be on board with that.
Give us remake please!
Please remake Assassin’s Creed 1, the real Assassin’s Creed
"It was here that altaïr had to tail some of the templars"
We all need Assassins creed remasterd
I wonder what Kassandra was up to back then?? She was alive.
i totally forgot about that.
My guess is she met altair or ezio
Probably protecting atlantis.

@@majesoficial5711 kassamdra is cannon
Edit: *kassandra
Probably wondering what a templar is
I would like to revisit this period in a game. Very interesting. Peaked with the crusades and the renaissance for me. Revolutionary war was great but convoluted by the rushed story to meet the 2012 deadline.
PLEASE go back to this time period man. Or the beginning of the official Templar order after the first crusade
Im surprised Ubisoft still knows their games used to be based off of real history. Too bad they lost sight of that and started making fantasy games with mythical creatures and flaming spears. Appreciate this video people. This is when Assassins Creed was good, and actually Assasins Creed.
Suspicious, they suddenly upload this out of nowhere. Hint toward a remaster/remake?
Not really it's just a way to promote Uplay + so Ubisoft can make $$$.
There was also a new Altair collectible at the official Ubisoft store that came out couple months ago. U know, just a random Altair collectible. Hopefully they’re trying to hype up a remake
Aahhh...it's rewind time
Time to play this again
I'm a simple man. I see an Assassin's Creed video and I like it, even before watching! ♥️
Altair deserves to have his whole story remastered
Proud to be an AC fan
This is precisely what I love about these games, where as a (great) game like Skyrim has you remembering their politics, history and geography, why not set these games in history so we can walk away from the game with some new-found knowledge. Or at least feeling inspired to do your own extensive research!
Good luck making a video like this for Odyssey lol
"Uhh, people wanted ancient Greece right? Here's like 30 identical copy-and-pasted towns, also the peloponnesian war is barely prevalent in the game, but... here's a random obligatory beach battle."
I love the vibes from old assassin's creed games .Ezio and altair had a way better era than the current assassins
The greatest AC of them all!
Totally right sir, when this game come out there was nothing like this out there
Making the game and adding history tour guides. Now I can teach my kids about history. Thank you Ubisoft.
AC1 remake, but with Unity style game play elements would be the bees knees!
Ty McNasty the graphics should be a mix of the newest assassins creed and revelations, and the gameplay feels like unity but also have better cutscenes
And with tons of microtransactions.
A remaster of this game would great!
please do remake for this part !!!!
I love this franchise. I really enjoyed the latest game.
Damnit no one would love a remake! Don't listen to the comments, Don't remake AC 1. It's good as it is.
Yeah they would just make it more orange and convince you its a whole new thing .
That's why this game was a masterpiece
Waiting Assassin’s Creed Ragnarok
i almost got attacked by nostalgia and wanted to play this again...until i remembered that chase scene in Acre by the water...
The next AC game needs to be feudal Japan or the Vikings!
I wold like to go to Japan
Just wait for ghost of tsushima
It's confirmed to be Vikings
Well, it seems a bit unlikely since China has already been (at least partially) covered in AC China, the 2.5D-game.
Vikings might be interesting though.
Ww2 or civil war
I didn't know all this kind of context behind the history of the first AC. I love how they made a game that has a lot of historical details that a person that doesn't know about the Crusade can enjoy with the visual effects of every city. The first AC is one of the best games of all the times.
*Who else wants a remastered of Assassin Creed 1?*
Cinyx GP I do
Me
I started with AC 2. I never found my way to play this game. Definitely regret it and I need to asap
ASSASSINS CREED 1 REMASTER 2019 !!!!!
Remake
@@matthewread7220 Nooo , I don't playng AC1 :(
I hope that at some point, they're gonna completely remake ac1, not to forget the original one, but just to look how awesome the game would be now
Remember when assassins creed wasn't a hack an slash but more tactical and realistic
It was never tactical or realistic. Lol who are you fooling? The missions are linear it got worse by the time AC3 released. AC2 is probably the only way non linear gameplay but even that game still makes you do things their way. Nothing about this game was tactical.
I learnt to appreciate architecture because of AC.
I hope they do this for AC II. Ezio was the best.
Back whe assassins creed wasn't a copy of other RPG games
Who else misses the assassin creed multiplayer my childhood😪good times
