Well - what would you do different? I'd like to see it again with less black in the pink and Ariel instead of Ursula - maybe a little MORE black in the purple... but it sure looked good as is! Let me know in the comments!
@SDGCustomLurecraft I would agree with you on this. Black makes a color dirty and changes it. Why does everyone add black to darken a color instead of adding more of the color that's being used? You'll have to bare with me, I worked with printing inks for a living.
What a great set of baits and a great guesture to give them away. I really do relate to the anxiety issues. I really enjoy your channel because of content like this. Thanks Adam.
Found you through Debo's live last night. I really enjoy the way you bring us along this process! Those look fantastic! Great work, sir. I'm excited to binge watch your channel.
I wouldn't do ANYTHING different Mr SIr.. they look AWESOME I was looking for a word to describe what i seen when you stirred the purple and thought "WHIMSICAL" fit the best .. those siren scales really added the cream on the top .. love that color combo The Crappie Crusher & Minnow molds are truly "EPIC" MORSELS ... I'd trim that ribbon tail that didn't fully shoot and trim/taper the tail back to a point and fish it as is instead of scraping it out)
Debo is definitely a good dude. Yeah I also have huge amounts of social anxiety and anxiety in general have talked about it in a couple of my videos. It's the main reason I don't go live and probably the main reason why I don't post as many videos as I should. As always man awesome video great looking babe I'm sure he's going to dig them.
Those were sweet! I will say that's one heck of a worm. I was fishing with a friend one day, and he broke out a 12-inch bubble gum worm. The only bass he caught was about 4 to 5 inches long. That little dude was hungry. Thanks for sharing. Great stuff. I'm going to ask you if I were to do a one-stop-shop on the first color order. Who would you order from? I got the world's worst fishing opinion on this during the live the other night. I would like to hear yours, please. Thank you for all you do.
Thanks man! Glad you enjoyed it! It’s crazy how smaller fish will go after mondo baits - they’re just instinctually aggressive! Regarding colors, if it was just one place I’d go to Lureworks, personally. www.shoplureworks.com. I love their stuff, you can find everything from standard colors, to changeables, to pearl powders, color shifts and all kinds of flake. They even have a few “starter packs” of pigment and flake that I recommended in another video - you can watch it here (especially if you haven’t started yet… lots of great options to consider): th-cam.com/video/Z-hWoxFGQ_Y/w-d-xo.htmlsi=fRFmXui8jSnUOUPw Hope that helps!
@SDGCustomLurecraft Thanks. I was leaning towards Lureworks. I've seen your videos on start up, good advice. I'm going all in to help make at least a few hundred dollars a month if possible. I live 15 minutes from the Tennessee River and Pickwick Lake. This is something I've wanted to do for a long time, but work kept me from doing so. Now I have all the time in the world with nothing to do. It's time. Thanks for your help. I forgot to put flake in my questions. Who has the best flake? One stop-shop the first time. After my first buy, I'll then start getting color and flake from other companies. Tell me if that's a bad idea. Thanks again for your help.
@ you can get flake from LW as well, grab it all once if you want. I own a ton of Barlows flake as well, great stuff. Either one of those, can’t go wrong! Just stick to some classic colors to start with, it can get overwhelming to see all the options!
@SDGCustomLurecraft I have a Barlows catalog. As far as heat sensitivity, who's flake is better? I've got to sit down and make a list of molds together. The first batch will be Epic Bait Molds, but a few will come from a couple of other places. I guess on the Shooting Star, one still has to wait for it to be built. Right?
just started making my own bladed jigs using the sparkie jig mold ...wish i can get my hands on the mustad flat eye hooks on the smaller sizes but its impossible to find them
I thought the bait looked awesome you did a great job and I did find your store order a few baits from it thank you for everything you do you make some great colors and great baits.
I love you Chanel. I bought your mold and was wondering how you got you blade on you 1/8? Also could you tell me the size of the blades and clips you use for your blades jigs. Thank you so much. The mold is amazing.
@@michaelbarbieri9871 hey Michael, thanks getting a mold and watching! The mold in THIS video is a different head, not included in the mold you have. It uses a flat-eye hook which takes a split-ring NP. The mold you have is my Go-To mold, which uses vertical eye hooks for most heads (definitely the 1/8oz). Unfortunately, the hook I use in the Bladed Slayer is now discontinued and therefore unavailable. Even I’m beginning to run out, having bought about 2,000 back when they were available! Hope this helps!
Mayyybe... I'd be concerned about the tail interfering with the blade, especially given how exaggerated the tail is (forced down to ensure kicking) vs the weight (1/8oz) and size of the blade (XS). That tail may be a little too much to overcome.
@@joshsmith2483 hey Josh, thanks for the question! Yes, it is compatible with non-N2 duals, so long as they are 4.5” on center. For example: The BassTackle dual work great with the SDG MB, the Do-It dual would not (as it’s only 2.5” on center). Hope this helps!
Glad you like em Ray! Unfortunately, I can't take custom orders... just too many other irons in the fire - between family, day job, channel content, and store... somethin' had to give and that ended up being custom orders. I do appreciate the interest though!
