I had these to replace my HD598s that were breaking apart. After a couple of years, I ordered the HD650 thinking they were an upgrade. For me, the HD650 were built much sturdier, they were heavier, and the clamping force on the head was tighter. I am not an audiophile, so I can't really speak on the sound differences or improvements. I just know that my HD599 feel lighter on my head and a lot more comfortable for me. Therefore, I am keeping my old HD599 and returning the $359 HD650.
@@Ffoo_ffighter these are the entry level for audiophiles, but for some of us it's the better headphone. I prefer them over my hd650. However their virtue doesn't rest on their bass, if that's your focus then you should buy a consumer closed black Bluetooth with ANC. These win because of their soundstage which is wider than the hd650. In fact their bassy tuning is their weakness, being a bit out of balance.

Just do it there incredible headphones had my of 4 years and there super durable and still working perfectly i listen to a lot of metal death metal rely work well for that type of super complex well mixed music get all the details and no distortion unlike the dt770 i have witch broke in a year 😢letshuoer S12iems are a good buy as well if you want something less bulky and portable there beautiful for all applications iam finding
Yes, those are open back headphones, depending on the volume people may hear the music you are listening to. Comfort wise though, those are the most comfortable headphones i've ever used
Just bought these few days ago and No, there is not much sound coming outside if you are in a day to day outside environment, if you are with a person sitting next to you in a super silent environment then he will hear it otherwise not.
Like night and day. After 4 years with my 599's I still have no intention of getting anything new except ear pad replacement. I actually had the hyperx for a while before these just to have a mic, but they never even compared to the cheaper sennheisers I had before. 599's being open back might be a major contributor why I like them so much more than any closed-backs I had before (no other opens though). If you need a mic just get a modmic (or something similar) right away, don't be like me and don't suffer a full year with some crappy headset just to have one.
There is alot of sound leakage. But you should expect this from any pair of open back headphones. You may be able to mitigate this by also buying pu or pleather ear cups with the headset, as the default velour has almost no sound insulation. However pu and pleather ear cups are generally less comfortable and can get pretty hot, and sweating in pleather or pu causes the outside to flake off and get pretty gross.

That's unfortunate to hear, riktor hooks was MVP that game. And yes of course, I'm an og paragon player and don't have a pc to play it. So I control my hunger by watching gameplay
