- Here we see the former Bronze Saint Andromeda Shun showing the new generation of Bronze Saints how they did it in HIS day.
When he first appears, this enemy, the Canis Minor Saint, ran away just on general principle, but then when Shun explains to Kouga and Ryuho (son of his old comrade in arms Shiryu) that he no longer uses a Cloth and using his Cosmo at all is dangerous to him Canis Minor attacks again. Seeing in Kouga and Ryuho worthy successors to their Cloths, Shun shows that he doesn't actually NEED a Cloth to channel his cosmo, and blasts his opponent with a Cloth apparently MADE out of cosmo. (This is based on my reading of the scene, since I don't actually speak Japanese, I may be wildly out of kilter with what he actually said)
I'm pleased to see Shun again, kicking ass old school style, and that they didn't actually redesign the Andromeda Cloth like the others have been in the series.

@Pranith Rex His official date of birth is September 9, 1973. During the Hades arc of Saint Seiya, at the oldest he was 17 that happened in universe in 1990, in Omega, which takes place in 2012, 22 years after Saori defeated Hades. Shun would be 39. At the end of the series, Shun and Seiya (whose birth year is also 1973) turned 41.

When Shun said that they (the new generation) were the hope they (Seiya, Shun, Shiryu, Yoga) left behind I cried like a baby. I really need to re watch saint seiya and then watch entirely saint seiya Omega
originally, Shun, Ikki, Hyoga, and Shiryu were supposed to be part of the new generation of Gold Saints along with Seiya
Shun was supposed to be Virgo
Ikki was supposed to be Leo
Hyoga was supposed to be Aquarius
Shiryu was supposed to be Libra
but Shun, Ikki, and Hyoga decided not to become Gold Saints and remained Bronze Saints, Shiryu later does become the new Libra Gold Saint
In all fairness, Shun was the first of all Bronze saints to awaken the 7th sense, back when he was training to gain the Andromeda Cloth. However he dislikes hurting people so he didn't display his powers till he was pissed of by Aphrodite being the murderer of his master. Seiya awoke his 7th sense (partially) when fighting Aldebaran, Ikki against Shaka, Hyoga against Camus, Shiryu against Deathmask (regaining his eyesight), and Seiya finally fully awoke it against Saga.
deathmask's cloth betrayed him, and shura could have easily escaped shiryu's technique, but instead he chose to spare shiryu. I repeat, Shun is the ONLY bronce saint that killed a gold saint who didnt let himself be bested, had a change of heart or realized the wrong in his ways, fighted at half strenght, had a hidden agenda or something similar that influenced the fight...

Yoga also did versus Camus when he reached the absolute zero and beat him

Camus was teaching Hyoga absolute zero right until the end. If he was serious from the start Hyoga would of stood no chance. Also Ikki did not beat Shaka.
I love how in the old anime the next sagas were about warriors over Silver tier and near Gold tier being actually serious from the start, Asgard and Poseidon were even harder because of that, Hades as well... as the main chars wouldn't have a cosmos energy near gold tier by that point they would all be dead quickly
Not only did he vanquish a gold saint but he also did it without his cloth!!
Shun's cosmo is perhaps the strongest of the Bronze Boys, but he hates using his full power, even in combat. When he's wearing his Cloth, his power is limited by it, when Shun takes his Cloth OFF (as he does fighting Pisces Aphrodite for example) he accesses his maximum power levels. He only creates the Nebula Storm (as opposed to the Nebula Stream) when he's not wearing the Cloth and can access his full cosmo.
in french translation when he fight sorento in poseidon saga , his nebula strom turn to nebular apocalyptic. he is very powerfull even aphrodites mention his 7th sens his higher than gold saint ..

"even" shun? hes actually the most powerful of all bronze saints, by far. the only one to actually KILL a gold saint who didnt let him pass and who fighted at full strength all the time.

each story line is basically Ikki keeps saving Shun and wrecks Shun's enemy easily and 2 seconds later gets Knocked Out by someone else but it is non-canon

Lo que pasa es que esa es la estética japonesa ellos tienen un estándar de belleza muy diferente al de occidente y por eso shun parece un poco afeminado pero nada que ver el es el caballero de bronce más fuerte

A liability? Leaving aside the four OAV's where everyone underwent chronic regression, he's grown up more than most. He is, after all, the only Saint whose Cloth isn't an amplifier but a limiter! He took down two of the Pillars of Poseidon without any help from the other Saints. And I'd say Ikki has more of a problem in that he can't admit that Shun can (and does) look after himself, than Shun has with needing his "Nii-san!".

You are right, I completely forgot about the Aioria fight. And I made another mistake, Shiryu started awaking his 7th sense when he accidentally used the Final Dragon while training to reverse the waterfall, when Roshi tell him using it will cost his life (revealed in Capricorn flashback). So that makes Shun and Shiryu the first ones, then Seiya, then Ikki, and last one Hyoga.
You're talking about a significant time (and power ups) after the events I'm discussing above. Shun was able to shatter Daidaros Cloth unaided almost immediately after getting his Cloth.

Es que Omega se venía a pique como la basura que es. Fijate la temporada 2, volvieron las Pandora Box, dejaron de lado la estupidez de los elementos, las armaduras parecen más armaduras que prendas (en temp1 flameaban con el viento, WTF?) y terminaron poniendo a todos los personajes originales, reduciendo a los protas a meros espectadores hasta que Koga pelea con Saturno. Miller los hubiera hecho trizas sino intervenía Ïkki, lo mismo Egeón. y adios serie.

In both manga and anime, during the Hades arc, Shun briefly wears the Virgo Cloth, not the Pisces Cloth. Perhaps by coincidence, all the Bronze Boys wear the Gold Cloth of their birth sign; Seiya Sagittarius, Shun Virgo, Ikki Leo, Hyoga Aquarius and Shiryu Libra.
They aren't wearing their cloths because of a previous battle which left them unable to burn their cosmos (if they did, they would die). They appear here to basically show the audience that they're still alive and they appear later with Shiryu and Seiya against the fight with Pallas and the Four Kings.

Creo que se debe a que Shun en su batalla contra Marte, recivio una maldicion o herida en esa parte del brazo, y esto hace que no pueda usar armadura ni elevar su cosmos al maximo, ya que si lo hace la herida se expande y podria morir. Bueno es lo que creo.
in the anime he destroyed Albiore's arm guard. In the manga Daidalo's cloth was completely shattered. The manga never addresed wheter it was repaired before his fight against Aphrodite or not, making some speculate that the reason why he fell so easily (beside the fact of being silver vs gold) was the fact that he was not wearing his cloth.

Tenga o no éxito, es deprimente , esta más que nada enfocada a pubertos que conocieron a saint seiya en hades o incluso ni tenían idea de su existencia, sinceramente cuando supe de esta me emocione pero al pasar el primer episodio y saber que no era oficial la sensación de alivio y completa alegría no tuvo comparación y eso es cierto, esta no tiene comparación con la verdadera y única saint seiya ...
pueden criticar a Andromeda Shun lo que quieran, pero si aparece en esta serie hecha por ex fanaticos es porque es del gusto de muchos y es un personaje sin el que el concepto se siente incompleto. Muchos teniamos como personaje predilecto a Andromeda, y lo tenemos todavia. No todos tenenmos los mismos gustos.

You are right. I can't seem to find the part in Elysium where they wore the gold cloths, though. I was basing things on their relationship with the gold saints. It works well with Seiya, Shiryu, and Hyoga lol. I thought had a closer? connection with Pisces Aphrodite than he did with Virgo Shaka.

I think Shiryu is the one who can raise his power the most but he can't control it. In the anime they stole one of his best moments, he alone was able to break the balance of the athena exclamation with Dohko's technique in the manga, while in the anime they made it that all the bronce saints did it together.
honestly i was actually expecting him to appear with his cloth when he does the nebula chain LOL ahhh o well... maybe perhaps the dark virus can be cured though and maybe he can appear in the finale with his cloth with the others!
Who said it was about his 7th Sense, it's the level of raw Cosmo power he has. What do you mean "How do we know?" We see him do it; he's leaving the island after gaining his Cloth, discussing how his cosmo has been growing the entire time he's been on Andromeda Island, and offers to show the Cepheus Saint what he can do, then lets fly with a blow without using his Cloth. A few seconds after that the Cepheus Cloth breaks (and in the anime IIRC, the cliff behind him shatters)

How do you know? We don't really get to see Shun showing his true power. We only see him saying he will show him then we see Daidalos saying good bye (after Shun showed so they skipped that part). Also if I remember correctly... it's when Shun escapes from Saga's other dimension at the Geminis's house when he partialy awakes his 7th sense. You see Arle's evil side saying he should admit defeated or else he would wake Shun's power even more or something like that. Then Shun continued his way.

Entiendo que omega esta para reanimar en las nuevas generaciones el clasico de SS y piesno que hasta cieto punto no esta mal pero, pienso que hubiera sido mas agradable que utilizaran sus personajes de shun, seiya y compania como tributo haciendo constante mencion de ellos o pasando imagenes..la verdad, si me dio melancolia y emocion al verlos despues de tantos anios en accion pero al mismo tiempo coraje y tristeza de ver su imagen completamente distorcionada!! me parece genial que hagan tantas historias alternas del canon pero al mismo tiempo, hay maneras y esta ha sido de las peores en las que personifican a los clasicos..de ahi en fuera, pienso que esta en completa libertad de modificar a los tiempos la otra parte y personajes basados en el canon.

Yes, but Shun damaged Daidaros' Cloth without wearing his Cloth. Seiya couldn't injure Shaina without his Cloth.
