In place of cutting, splicing new long cable, is it possible to roll up-zip tie cable and fold into control-speedometer box? Is there enough space inside?
Thanks for the video Stephen. How is.the response of the new throttle in practice? Can you control each speed level? Especially in lower speeds I am having difficulties to put in cruise control mode as it's really hard to keep the same speed.
The response from the throttle is great, control of speed at different variables is so much more stable and now very controllable at low speeds. There was definitely something I didn’t like about the new throttle, there is a few cm’s of travel before the throttle engage, although performance out put has not changed, throttle has a softer and gradual acceleration curve, there was something missing? Felt like I had taken some of the beast out of the machine. However shortly after the throttle upgrade, there was a post on FB where a guy had taken the sensor module out of the upgraded throttle and swopped out the one from the old throttle!🤔 I did the same and now using the original throttle with new chip inside, works like a dream, able to maintain low speed and punch it up when needed bring back a different beast!👍
@@evknight3249 wow. That sounds perfect. So I can use the original throttle with only changing the sensor of new one? Can you please prepare some instructions for us. That'll be something great. In TH-cam there has been some other videos about changing to new one but you are the first one to mention about the sensor and this way fixing the original to make it perfect. or a philips head screw driver??
From what I remember Philips screwdriver for the display housing and hex wrench for the throttle.
