I'm from Ireland and 2 years ago my wife and I went to gelsenkirchen for a holiday and no one could believe we were going there for a break but we both like going to where the real Germany is and meeting the people, plus we had a really great time we stayed in a hotel right beside the shalke football arena and traveled to Dortmund for a day and made the fateful error of saying we hoped shalke would win their European match that night not realising that Dortmund and shalke were deadly rivals, I really love Germany and their people I love German rail travel and have traveled from the bodensee to Dortmund by rail and bus and loved the travel up the Rhine so much I did it again with my wife from Düsseldorf to Mainz, once this lockdown is over we'll be back in germany only thing is my German is very poor now as I didn't use it for nearly 40 years and have forgotten most of it now but as soon as I explain myself the German people are very helpful but you must try and speak to them in their own language first

Eine der schönsten Bahnstrecken in Deutschland wie ich finde. Ich hatte bisher nur leider selten das Glück diese Strecke bei Tageslicht fahren zu dürfen.
Hi ! Auch wieder eine sehr schöne Führerstandsmitfahrt, Danke für das mitnehmen, bei dem schönen herbstlichen Wetter, entlang einer der schönsten Bahnstrecken Deutschlands. Der Daumen geht steil nach oben, plus Favo. Gruß Thomas
Immer wieder schön. Auf beiden Rheinstrecken geht es ja stellenweise eng zu, aber die Bauart der Oberleitung mit den Portalen einige Male ab 41:20 ist schon bemerkenswert.
Schade, dass die 3S-Bahn Koblenz nicht fährt. Die 3S-Bahn ist von 1.24:44 - 1.25:02 sehr gut zu sehen. Da du - wie man an der Uhr im Bahnhof Koblenz-Ehrenbreitstein gut erkennen kann - um 10.38 Uhr unter der 3S-Bahn hindurchgefahren bist und die 3S-Bahn um 9.30 Uhr den Betrieb beginnt, folgt daraus, dass das Video zwischen Anfang November und Mitte März an einem Wochentag (Montag - Freitag) aufgenommen wurde, denn dann fährt die 3S-Bahn in Koblenz nicht.

Loreley bei 54.41 und linke Rheinseite? Doch wohl nicht, sondern bei 56.10 rechte Rheinseite vor der Tunneleinfahrt.
