I just love that they are so intentional and meticulous when it comes to their craft. Japanese people and their attitude to work...it's just admirable.
This really got my attention Chilo, because I have the same issue with dandruff and its really frustrating and quite embarrassing. Please keep us updated about improvements u notice as u continue your healthy scalp journey. Thanks for sharing this video and I appreciate the care these guys gave to your scalp.

Wow, I must commend these japanese for being so customer service friendly..it has been a reoccurring decimal in several videos of yours I've seen. Shout out to all the meticulous service givers out there. One love👏
Very beautiful observation! I don't think I have ever had a bad customer service treatment here, even the ones I don't get to film are still same. Thanks Dafe

Wow… I would give anything for that massage, it seemed so relaxing. I couldn’t help but notice how they were so gentle and polite! Great video, thanks for sharing🙂
@Chilo talks The scalp is just as, if not more important than the hair itself. I'd love to see this as a more common practice. Thanks for sharing this.
this is just so cool.. I would looove to do it but the level of self consciousness wouldn't let me go through the experience peacefully. I have similar issues as you with my scalp even though my hair texture is different. Also, as someone who enjoys ASMR so much to the point I can't feel tingles from watching for so many years, this soft spoken narration was sooooo relaxing and nice. Also, I couldn't help cracking up at the expressions you made when looking at the screen. Our bodies are... one interesting sight the closer and closer we get. Great video as always, Chilo! and Congrats on your 52K subs
So Chilo while you were having your treatment I had just taken down my crochet braids and watched my hair. I have the same dandruff problem like you so I HAVE to watch and treat my hair every two weeks! This is definitely a must do for me! Thank you so much! Great video! The camera man did a great job getting close ups🌈
I'd be so tempted to bring my own shampoo and conditioner😭 but it's a treatment salon so their's might be geared towards targeting problem areas so idk🤷♀️
I'd love to do this for my hair My dandruff is always itchy, that's why I don't have a protective style on for more than 3 weeks Chilo thank for this video
Sometimes we mistake product buildups as dandruff, not every flakes on your scalp is a dandruff . First, most Asian hair products isn’t suitable for your scalp/hair as a black girl, some of their shampoo or conditioner left a product buildup on your hair because their products don’t wash out properly from our scalp due to the type of hair that we have. They made their hair products for their hair type not for Afro hairs. So sometimes if you are using a product like shampoo or conditioner and start noticing flakes after washing your hair, change all your hair products and see if there’s any change. (2) Use hair products that people who has same hair type like yours do use for their hairs. 3) Treat your hair sometimes with fresh ginger +cloves water. 4) If your dandruff is that stubborn, you can start making your own hair shampoo each time you need a hair wash with Dr.bronner’s liquid soap, you can find it at any store. hope this will help or even help someone else.
Hi Chiloo! I've been watching your videos lately and I really enjoy them but i feel like the best part is when you try to communicate with the japanese 😂😂. Please try to add those scenes!
I’ll love to do it becauseeee I want to sleep and those massages will definitely make sleep hit. How did you stay awake dear cos they will carry me lol
Omo ...sleep was knocking on my door o 🤣🤣...but the creative director part of doing TH-cam videos wouldn't let me sleep because I had to be sure occasionally that the person behind the camera was giving me the right angles 😩😩
Looks lovely and relaxing. Do you feel there was much difference in your scalp afterwards, or is it something you'll have to do a few times to see a real change? I have issues with dandruff too, but now my hair is very short I can easily wash it when I shower so I do it more often. I find that I'm quite lazy with keeping my scalp moisturised, but natural oils (coconut or olive) have really helped stop the itchiness I used to have. I'm hesitant to grow my hair out though because afro hair needs a lot of time and energy. 😅 I hope you're able to find a good solution for your dandruff that is easy enough to implement as part of your hair routine! Thanks for sharing this experience with us. 👍
@@Chilotalks True, hair length doesn't really affect it. I think specialist shampoos, oils and treatments are probably the best way to deal with it, so you're on the right track at least. Good luck with your hair journey!

No product was recommended actually. I think it's meant to be a regimen but let's see how I can keep up with the salon visit before getting another protective style done
Have you thought about doing other protective styles like wigs or ponytails so you can more easily clean your scalp? Several of the natural hair TH-camrs I watch use hair steamers at home. They say you can get a facial steamer and just hold your hair over it if you don't have access to a hair steamer.
I have done that ....even cut my hair once so I could wash it every day but same thing, I do ponytail styles sometimes too but I am not a wig person. It's safe to say that some people's scalp are dandruff prone than others...just like how some people are acne prone
@@Chilotalks I'm dandruff prone too. I cut my hair short during the pandemic because I couldn't go to the salon but now I really love it. I've been trying different shampoo and conditioner to keep my hair and scalp moisturized but it's a struggle.
@@Chilotalks Do you use clarifying shampoo??? And many times it's due to the products your using, too many oils and butters. You may want to follow the 30 day detox.
