- The fourth instalment of our "Bring it On!" series of videos. It shows a 4 man fireteam approach, breach and clear a warehouse.
This video was made in cooperation with UF PRO®, a Slovenian company that makes professional garment systems.
We used their Striker HT tactical pants and Striker XT Gen 2 combat shirts in this video.

In my opinion, try more half body cut as there isnt much to see in leg area, and it centralize the action of the gun handling and show better detail of most of the kit which id located in rhe top.

This drill was done with live ammo. Yes, the danger of accidents with this kind of drills is definitely higher than with normal range shooting.

So for the flash-bang part, (I'm unclear with what it is called) do you go during or after it finished its charge?
Good question. It mostly depends of the type of distraction device used and situation you are in.
The classic flashbangs that only produce one powerful explosion are very loud and create high dangerous overpressure next to the grenade. That can be enough to seriously hurt or even kill a person. These kind of flashbangs usually have a very short fuse time, about 1.5 second, and are thrown in the room, wait for the explosion and then enter.
Contrary to popular belief these flashbangs usually don't produce blinding flash. They permanently blind people because they go into shock or the overpressure can even damage your eyes.
But there are also less dangerous flashbangs and distraction devices, similar to what is shown in this video. These are less powerful devices that instead of one powerful explosion, they produce multiple bangs and flashes or other pyrotechnical effects.
These are often used in a way we have filmed it - so that the team enters the room during the distraction produced by this device.
If you know how it works, you are used to it and you are focused on your objective, the bangs won't bother you too much. Also these kind of multibang devices are usually a bit more safe because they don't produce such a powerful explosion.

What are the glowsticks for? Obviously to mark something, but what?
Glow sticks can be used for marking cleared rooms, dangerous areas, items of interest and so on. In the video we used them for marking cleared areas but in reality it wouldn't be necessary for this kind of small building with a simple layout ... but it looks cool on camera :D

@Oscar K Larsson I use peltor in the home guard, as a civilian in construction and at home whilst mowing the lawn. All three versions I have fucking rocks. And the military ones have great ambient listening where you actually hear better than irl.

So you'll never clear rooms in such a way that pleases everyone. But I have to say, I've always liked the idea of having MP5s take point inside the building. I also have to applaud keeping your higher calibers up front on the approach. Well done.
The tactics are for the most part the same among all schools of thought, the only difference is really the application of the tactics, or the strategy in approaching a building. Infinite ways to skin the cat so that is where arguments start. In the end though it is all hypothetical making room clearing a 50% probability. Hence why everyone wants to avoid room clearing if possible. Even with perfect tactics, it is still a very risky situation.
IMO i don't like the MP5. I think the SMG is useless for all except for saving money. Even if containment of noise is required a silenced handgun is much more compact, cheaper, lighter, and faster to bring into play than a SMG. 5.56 rifles are much safer for reducing collateral (if expanding bullets are used).
@@DaveSmith-cp5kj You're 100% right on the tactics man. I like your thought on subs too. I personally think they're cool. I'm a fan of handgun calibers because of round versatility on a more steady platform. But I can't say I'd tote one to war over a rifle. Like room clearing, weapon choice is an infinite discussion.

Most of the world and even here in the US among many LE departments and I believe the coast guard the SMG still has life due to the cheap handme downs and since LE's bread and butter are handguns. Ultimately they all get the job done since good guys have been putting bad guys in the dirt with all sorts of setups.

Subgun up front adds a rate of fire advantage in certain instances. Same principles as shotgun, but different. Options are a good thing.

What happens there's a fortified machinegun position around the corner or in a room? Moving so close with teammates, too fast without checking could lead to a massacre, i think.

He ignored the entire left side of the room. Center fed room, not a corner fed. Gotta be better.
From the range of view of the camera you can't determine if he looked left or not. The safer assumption given the experience of the team is that it was checked, just not captured in the camera view we have.
Viserion, I hear you...but any trained professional knows that a look or glance doesn’t cut it. Gotta put a body in that space and clear that side of the room first. Then continue to move and look for work.
All in all, I really liked their flow through that structure. Looked good.

I'm in a infantry unit in the british army 1 mercian n tbh this is very well done. The only problem I saw really was on the breaching on the building. After u do the visual check of the door u should always do a physical check afterwoods. Also when breaching the two going in first should always punch in almost simultaneously diagonally checking each corner going in which unfortunately didnt happen
if bullets were to fly in the opposite direction, it wouldn't be like this.

Why did they enter as the flashbang was going off?
Many units train to go in with the device. It makes maximum use of the shock factor. You train for it until the flash bang no longer affects you. The defender is concentrating on the 9 banger while you're already getting rounds down.

It is to mark the cleared rooms and blue is standard for BLUEFOR but color vary's based on team SOP.
I dont think I've seen any videos that mark the cleared rooms with glow sticks. Or in any way for that matter. And the way the buddy pairs would take a L shape hallway corner was very smooth. This was some good shit while still entertaining and cinematic to watch.

The glow stick are sometimes used to indicate cleared rooms, items/areas of interest or other stuff. For the small and simple room layout that we used for the video, marking would not be necessary but we decided to do it anyway because it looks good in the video :D
The slow motion is everything. It really shows how fluently you guys move and work . Showing how there is always someone pulling sercurity and heads always on a swivel no matter which man in the stack you are.
Gave me a good flashback to my Infantry days, CQB has always been one of my favorite combat drills

Wow is that a true 360° shooting house?? Must have been very complicated to run when there is people filming from multiple angles. Here in the Netherlands we've had an incident where someone was shot through a drywall during a live fire drill. Very impressive video nonetheless!!
No, this isn't a 360 shooting house, we had targets only in specific areas where there was good backstop (tires filled with sand).
We only had 1 camera man but we have done the same drill probably 15 times - some times without ammo, sometimes shooting only at specific targets and so on.
That way the cameraman was able to capture everything he needed to combine it to a full video. This takes a lot of time, ammo and patience but at least it was very safe and controled

I don't think your standard civilian realizes how much time and dedication it takes to put a good team together like that.
Interesting watching this video and barely recognising the place this was recorded at. knowing that they had to clean the place, repair the doors put on a new padlock,... Because the are has been abandoned for some 10+ years.
