  • Honey Bees Swarm Me During A Live Bee Removal
PWASSSUPPPP Everybody. Yappy Beeman is at it again in North Alabama messing with bees and doing live honeybee removals. In this episode I travel Anniston Alabama for what seemed to be a normal job. When I arrived at the customers home, I found what appeared to be a new colony of bees that had recently moved into a structure. All the signs were there so we started to open the void to remove the bees when out of nowhere, I was surrounded by flying bees. The bees I was there to remove were just arriving ! How cool s that ! So we did what we needed to do and changed the plan. As the bees started to land on the house wall, I watched for the queen and caught her in a queen cage fairly early. From there on out it was just a matter of collecting the rest. Our Colorado bee vac made the job simple. Most were collected right off the wall as they were clustering. The rest found their way to the outside of the box box from the fanning of the ones already captured. I used my spare Colorado Bee Vac Catch Box to collect them and the bees are now safely rebuilding in their new home in my apiary. I hope you enjoy this video and please dont forget to like and subscribe to my channel.
Check out my friends video channels also. Jpthebeeman , 628Dirtroosterbees and Jeff Horchoff for some more great honey bee videos.
Yappy Beeman is a professional bee remover performing live honey bee removals in Alabama as "Alabama Bee Rescue" and relocates them to apiaries away from residential areas so they can rebuild and thrive as a honey bee colony producing honey. Yappy is an Alabama Beekeepers association member that has performed over 500 live bee removals. Yappy with the help of his great friend and mentor; JpTheBeeman, a professional beekeeper , has learned many skills to remove bee swarms and honey bee colonies safely for the bees and homeowners alike.

honeybees pollinate 80% of cultivated crops, but should they die out, other insects will take their place and we will pick up the remainder of the slack, so we won't really be that bad off if they died out, unlike what the media will have you believe.

In 2016 I save many bees from starving even cave several cpr when they suddenly froze, when the temp dropped suddenly below zero drinking water.. I saved them from starving. during the winter. I was a swarm that suddenly swarm. My bees been OK. They are under my faciaboard now since Fev. 2018 I never opened it. Another swarm I had was between a double weaponed concrete wall for 24 yrs. I whish I knew how big that swarm and honey cones where. I which I knew that honey's worth.

I like be watching how they migrate, fan signals, sounds of anger or not. I grew up next to a Keeper, like 50 feet close. He taught me early how important bees are, how the last thing a Honey Bee wants to do is sting me, don't smack them, or a bunch will come, and bee mad too. I helped him slang the honey, and he explained some, but that was 48 years ago, and I was 10. It was country, and the next neighbor was a 1/2 mile away. My brother tried to Rob some bees, without any protection. He ended up running thru the garden, slapping and stripping the whole way. He was down to his draws by the Tomatoes, but tore down several stalks of corn, then mom stung his butt some more.
