15:38 (tales of the ninja turtles) i think they nailed the feel of Mutant Mayhem for a tv form in 2D. i think i'm down to see this. Looks good. i am a little confused as to how or why they're all split up. I assumed they were all going to High School. i assume something like that 2000s movie has happened where life kind of happened and they're all off doing their own things that doesn't have them coming back to their home as much. or if they do come home, they don't really have as much time to really talk. like if you all have different jobs at different times of the day. with some with the super early shifts, others with the super late shifts and others with the middle of the day shifts and stuff. I wonder if Splinter is still with the mutant from the movie when this show takes place.
As a fan of despicable me, I see potential in Piece by Piece. I find it as a unique idea of making a biopic but make it animated in Lego. The animation itself looks beautiful, and stays true to the artistic style of brick films. I just hope the acting in the end has some enthusiasm. For the Skydance situation, while it’s really stupid that Zaslav is literally meddling with it for his desperate greed and power. Hearing about Lasseter’s health is very shocking. While Lasseter brought us childhood favorites like Toy Story. Lasseter seriously needs to retire not only to stop harassing and mistreating animators, but it’s also to keep and eye on his health. It shows that this man is not doing well in recent years. I just hope he leaves Skydance so that Skydance animation would be in better management
Sony is now being like Pixar moving away from telling original films and rely more sequels and Sony animation thinks more hotel Transylvania and open season movies are the way to go
1. This new trailer of Tales of the TMNT looked promising so far. The animation looked nice, the action scenes looked fun, voice acting were good, the humor looked funny, the story might be interesting, and characters looked delightful as ever. I’ll definitely give it a watch when it comes out on Paramount+. 2. The new trailer of the animated biopic Piece By Piece looked alright. I mean the animation looked impressive and the songs are good but I feel little worry when it comes to the acting and that biopic formula that I seen many times before like Bohemian Rhapsody or the recent Bob Marley movie. I’ll give it a wait and see but I do hope it looked great when it comes out. 3. This has got to be the most frustrating deal that I have ever seen. I thought we were getting closer to end but unfortunately we’re not. From Shari Redstone being upset with the new deal, to money issues, to now with John Lasseter’s health being put into question. I was gonna say if they don’t their act together soon to get the deal done until breaking news happens when Redstone said no to deal which shocked me and very upset about it. I’ll save about that part for next week but my God this is a cluster mess going on at Paramount. 4. While this is good news to hear from Pete Doctor to clarify the whole mass appeal issue, but as for the Toy Story 5 situation with Andrew Stanton being the director of that film, I still have doubts about fifth film. Don’t get me wrong, Stanton is a beloved filmmaker who has made memorable films with Finding Nemo and WALL-E and directed episodes from acclaimed TV series like Stranger Things and Better Call Saul for example, however, he also the same man who made one of Disney’s biggest box office bombs, John Carter and it is easily his weakest work ever put on to. Also, do any one of you like that Finding Dory sequel because I haven’t seen anyone put this as people’s favorite despite a billion dollar hit? Then of course the existence of another Toy Story that been gathering so much divisive response ever since Toy Story 4 came out. I love the fourth film but even I feel like this is enough already. The idea of a fifth film and worry about Stanton put on the levels of something like Finding Dory is what really makes me feel hesitant about this news. Don’t want to doubt Stanton but I do wish him the best of luck on the fifth Toy Story film whether the public wants this or not I suppose. 5. There are so many upcoming movies and series from Netflix that I have to choose from to be excited the most. The ones I’m excited the most Arcane season two, which I am saddened to hear that this will be last season for Arcane, K-Pop: Demon Hunters from Sony, Wallace and Gromit sequel from Aardman, Terminator Zero as I do love the animation style, and the new Tomb Raider series, mainly for Hayley Atwell as she did a great as Captain Carter in What If from Marvel and she was great in the latest Mission Impossible movie. The ones I’ll be curious to keep an eye and see if it any good are The Twits, That Christmas from Locksmith Animation, and Twilight of the Gods from Zach Snyder, although I do wish this series to be better than what Snyder has done with the Rebel Moon movies. Finally, the ones that I am not looking for are Sandy Cheeks as I already seen the leak version, Plankton movie, Motel Transylvania (Sony leave the franchise alone already), and any animated films that related to Skydance Animation, still against having John Lasseter’s involvement so for that, I am not looking forward to see those films for the latter like Spellbound to come out. That all there is say other than being excited like Arcane and K-Pop: Demon Hunters the most.
I mean...I love Finding Dory despite its minuet flaws in my opinion, that being said I'm cautiously optimistic about Toy Story 5, if the trailer presents an intriguing story that gets me invested the same way the 4th film did then I'll be very happy to see Woody and Buzz again (hopefully for the last time since its just stretching the franchise out a bit much).
@@Jonathanest90s I meant divisive from fans when Toy Story 4. I know critics like the 4th film but I meant divisive response from fans upon having another Toy Story movie just to clarify that part.
@@awesomej1107Understandable, I’ll still it give it a chance once I learn more about what the actual story is about along with trailers and footage too and if it justifies to exist or not.
Lightning round of movies coming to Netflix: Wallace & Gromit - Vengeance Most Fowl: Crackin cheese! Let’s go! The Plankton Movie: oh boy. Are we really reliving 2017 where there’s two Lego spin off movies? I ask this cuz next year will offer two SpongeBob movies Spellbound: Skydance, you better pull off something amazing this one rather than being another Disney clone or worse, reminiscent to Disney clones of the 90s PooKoo: even if you aren’t a musical like Spellbound is, same goes to you! Although, I will say that the animals look cute In Your Dreams: sounds like it’s something that can be heartwarming That Christmas: please don’t repeat what Thelma the Unicorn did. Since the animation in this movie is also done from the same animation studio that did the visuals in Ron’s gone wrong, it should be charming as that film The Twits: looks like we got another animated Roald Dahl story K-Pop Demon Hunters: sounds crazy and I’m curious so good luck Sony.
I'll admit despite all the wrong decisions John Lasseter made in his later years, I can't help but feel sorry that he's in bad health. I hope he does recover. I'm not the kind of person who would want him to die as a form of justice or punishment for his treatment towards his former female employees at Pixar and at Skydance Animation. I knew you wouldn't feel happy regarding the news of a new Hotel Transylvania series. While I'm thankful it's not another film, we definitely don't need another series after how Sony milked the franchise to death before HT: Transformania. Seriously, Sony? Can't you let the Hotel Transylvania franchise rest? Why can't you just make a series out of your other recent successful animated films? Like a Looney Tunes-style spin-off of Spider-Ham or a series focusing on Eric & Deborahbot adjusting to living like a part of the Mitchells' family. Anything other than a new HT series!
I feel the same way John has become a disgrace recently, but wishing death on him would be too cruel. As Animat said, he might as well just retire for good (I mean the guy’s in his 60s and has made millions on the Disney movies he helped make)
As for the whole Transylvania situation, it’s something that has me surprised, yet not surprised at the same time I mean I’m shocked that Hotel Transylvania is coming back after the last movie, but I’m not too shocked because in recent years, companies have this bad habit of milking a cash cow when it’s already dry
Summer fest picks of the week 1. The trailer for Tales of TMNT = Since Mutant Mayhem became a new fan favorite minus a few flaws, they better continue that legacy further and go wild!! 2. The trailer for Piece by Piece = What's there to say, it's a Pharrell Williams Lego movie and of course I am gonna go see it!!! Not only does it look visually cute, but his music became a major influence for me and Morgan Neville sure done his homework beautifully!! 3. The complicated Skydance-Paramount deal = Like I said so many times before, JUST GET RID OF JOHN LASSETER IMMEDIATELY!!! Seriously, according to a few Reddit posts working at Skydance Animation are not good and everyone is having such a stressful time all caused by Lasseter and especially David Ellison. In short, just block Skydance Animation from your socials!!! 4. Andrew officially helming Toy Story 5 = To be honest, Stanton knows the Toy Story universe more than anybody else. Even if he didn't wrote the 3rd film due to directing Wall-E, he was part of the writing team on 1, 2, and 4 to which all came out equally amazing. With that said, we might be in for something exciting and is glad to see that Andrew hasn't lost his animated spark due to being busy with live action projects at Searchlight. 5. New batch of Netflix animated movies/ shows - Since there's a whole lot to cover and examine, here are my personal picks on what I'm anticipated for which these include: - Ultraman: Rising = Heard it's been getting great praise from the early festival screenings, so the hype is really on!!! - Arcane season 2 = The first season left on a massive cliffhanger, so it's gonna get more bloody, emotional, and action packed than ever. - That Christmas = Looks heartwarming, this might become the next Prep and Landing or Arthur Christmas. The Locksmith team is getting the hang of things. - In Your Dreams = Loving its concept and designs, kind of like a cross between Over the Moon meets Wonder Park. - Vengeance Most Fowl = The penguin is back, and the stakes are set even higher!!! But for real, this better be a step up from Dawn of the Nugget and Early man now that Aardman has zero help from Dreamworks animation. - K Pop Demon Hunters = Coming from Sony's more experimental phase, this has potential coming from the wish dragon team. In addition, love how the characters are animated like stop motion figures to increase the dynamic intensity. Can't wait for all these future projects!!
I honestly don't know about you guys. but at this point, now that Skydance is sadly out of the picture (thanks Ms. Redstone...), I can only hope and pray now that of all companies, Comcast comes in to acquire Paramount from National Amusements. Say what you will, but I believe Universal and Paramount would be a perfect match. I mean, they've already had a film distribution pact in several countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America dating all the way back to the 1970s called United International Pictures. And to have DreamWorks reunite with Nickelodeon again after their collaborations on shows like Penguins of Madagascar and Kung Fu Panda: Legens of Awesomeness would be a really fun reunion to see. Of course, I could imagine some negative consequences, but they wouldn't be too serious at the same time. Now, this merger may or may not happen, but if it were, it would be the best of all mergers in my opinion.
I’m pissed that we’re getting a Toy Story 5 before we get a Shrek 5, a Halloweentown 5, a sequel to the Adventures of TinTin, a Roger Rabbit Sequel and a sequel to Real Steel.
I still hope that Paramount and Skydance would still be dealing on merging sometime in the future. Seriously, another Toy Story movie? I say the movies ended better as a trilogy with the 3rd one.
With the broken deal with Warner Brothers we never going to have a second Lego Batman movie word focus on Batman's relationship with the Justice League order original idea the billion-dollar brick race and even for The LEGO Movie 3 it should focus on the even matured Lego games the original movie focus on the basics like city classic space pirates castles and Western theme and for the second on the more demographic oriented like friends and Duplo for the third movie I would like to see characters inspired by Bionicle Hero Factory and Technic but all of this will never happen I would also like to see some movies based on Lego games like Lego City friends are any other team but considering the failure of Ninjago I think it won't going to happen and it will never going to happen with universal When Lego made a new deal with universal I didn't know what they're going to do but now we're going to see a Lego biopic a Pharrell Williams remember for songs like get lucky and Blurred Lines but he's mostly remember for Despicable Me especially with one particular song Happy from the second film we're just in a few days for the fourth film Even if they have the director of Finding Nemo and Wall-E for Toy Story 5 I still not being convinced I will put Toy Story 3 as the true ending of the franchise I don't know what could happen to Disney if John Lasseter stayed has influence on the female employees of the animation division could also be spread in Blue Sky Studios fortunately it didn't happen but the point is do you think Disney will be better if Lasseter stay or even worse than what we are now

First off, don’t wish for an animation studio like Sony to close down and two, they didn’t cancel Popeye in favor of the Emoji Movie. That Popeye movie was only canceled because the executives didn’t like what they saw on test screenings. Finally, Beyond the Spiderverse will be out sometime in the future as it takes to make sure the animation looks on par with the previous films.
Toy Story 4 is actually amazing. Only polarizing by only the “animation community”.
@@MovieManReviews can we just get beyond the SpiderVerse updates already Sony, they’re being like Disney being entirely sequel filled
Hope the 300th episode is a real good one.
Lightning round of movies coming to Netflix:
Wallace & Gromit - Vengeance Most Fowl: Crackin cheese! Let’s go!
The Plankton Movie: oh boy. Are we really reliving 2017 where there’s two Lego spin off movies? I ask this cuz next year will offer two SpongeBob movies
Spellbound: Skydance, you better pull off something amazing this one rather than being another Disney clone or worse, reminiscent to Disney clones of the 90s
PooKoo: even if you aren’t a musical like Spellbound is, same goes to you! Although, I will say that the animals look cute
In Your Dreams: sounds like it’s something that can be heartwarming
That Christmas: please don’t repeat what Thelma the Unicorn did. Since the animation in this movie is also done from the same animation studio that did the visuals in Ron’s gone wrong, it should be charming as that film
The Twits: looks like we got another animated Roald Dahl story
K-Pop Demon Hunters: sounds crazy and I’m curious so good luck Sony.
Motel Transylvania: nah, I say let it die
@@Mariofanaticanimations that’s a series. My lightning round is based on movies
ToyStory5 Getting New Blood For This franchise👍😎Joyful about it😍
I'll admit despite all the wrong decisions John Lasseter made in his later years, I can't help but feel sorry that he's in bad health.
I feel the same way
John has become a disgrace recently, but wishing death on him would be too cruel. As Animat said, he might as well just retire for good (I mean the guy’s in his 60s and has made millions on the Disney movies he helped make)
As for the whole Transylvania situation, it’s something that has me surprised, yet not surprised at the same time
I mean I’m shocked that Hotel Transylvania is coming back after the last movie, but I’m not too shocked because in recent years, companies have this bad habit of milking a cash cow when it’s already dry

Am I the only on that is curious to see motel Transylvania?
Summer fest picks of the week
5. New batch of Netflix animated movies/ shows - Since there's a whole lot to cover and examine, here are my personal picks on what I'm anticipated for which these include:
- Ultraman: Rising = Heard it's been getting great praise from the early festival screenings, so the hype is really on!!!
NO MORE MERGERS
When are you talking about the Angry birds movie 3 teaser
You clearly didn’t pay attention to the podcast. 🙄
#FireZaslav
keep nickelodeon and cbs away from zaslav
Agreed.
Yes
Especially Nick
18: 40 what is wrong with you anitmat 🙄😒
I’m pissed that we’re getting a Toy Story 5 before we get a Shrek 5, a Halloweentown 5, a sequel to the Adventures of TinTin, a Roger Rabbit
Sequel and a sequel to Real Steel.
🙄
I still hope that Paramount and Skydance would still be dealing on merging sometime in the future.
Seriously, another Toy Story movie? I say the movies ended better as a trilogy with the 3rd one.
We want Toy Story 5!
@@Jonathanest90s not me. I say it better off ending as a trilogy
More Pixar sequels?…. I’m soooo excited… uuugh! 😒
Your comment = 🙄
With the broken deal with Warner Brothers we never going to have a second Lego Batman movie word focus on Batman's relationship with the Justice League order original idea the billion-dollar brick race and even for The LEGO Movie 3 it should focus on the even matured Lego games the original movie focus on the basics like city classic space pirates castles and Western theme and for the second on the more demographic oriented like friends and Duplo for the third movie I would like to see characters inspired by Bionicle Hero Factory and Technic but all of this will never happen I would also like to see some movies based on Lego games like Lego City friends are any other team but considering the failure of Ninjago I think it won't going to happen and it will never going to happen with universal
When Lego made a new deal with universal I didn't know what they're going to do but now we're going to see a Lego biopic a Pharrell Williams remember for songs like get lucky and Blurred Lines but he's mostly remember for Despicable Me especially with one particular song Happy from the second film we're just in a few days for the fourth film
Even if they have the director of Finding Nemo and Wall-E for Toy Story 5 I still not being convinced I will put Toy Story 3 as the true ending of the franchise
I don't know what could happen to Disney if John Lasseter stayed has influence on the female employees of the animation division could also be spread in Blue Sky Studios fortunately it didn't happen but the point is do you think Disney will be better if Lasseter stay or even worse than what we are now
As Filthy Frank said: ITS TIME TO STOP!!!
HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA AND OPEN SEASON ALREADY AND RELEASE BEYOND THE SPIDER VERSE FOR GOOD SONY ANIMATION REALLY NEEDS TO SHUT THEMSELVES DOWN AGAIN LIKE BLUE SKY, like did Sony animation cancel beyond the SpiderVerse in favour of Open Season Call of Nature and Motel Transylvania like with Popeye in favour of the emoji movie?
First off, don’t wish for an animation studio like Sony to close down and two, they didn’t cancel Popeye in favor of the Emoji Movie. That Popeye movie was only canceled because the executives didn’t like what they saw on test screenings. Finally, Beyond the Spiderverse will be out sometime in the future as it takes to make sure the animation looks on par with the previous films. Either calm down and don’t bring out it false information or wishing for a studio close down or there gonna be problems.

Tales Of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) I’ve never been a big fan of TMNT, nor have I’ve seen Mutant Mayhem, so I can’t really give my opinion on this.😐
Piece By Piece) It’s interesting that the film going to be an animated documentary similar to Flee.
But with Pharrell’s songs and the creative use of Legos, this does look like it’s going to be lots of fun!🎶
John Lasseter) Is it wrong for me to see his recent health struggles as karma for what he did at Pixar & Disney?🤔
Anyways, he should take this as a sign, and do something that he should have done a long time ago, RETIRE!!!
Toy Story 5) Toy Story is not only my favorite Pixar & animated film, IT’S MY FAVORITE FILM OF ALL TIME!!!🥰
So I’m more than happy that Andrew Stanton is directing the 5th installment!
Netflix Announcements) Okay, here’s my quick thoughts!
K-Pop Demon Hunters: So it’s basically a magical girl version of Demon Slayer?
Motel Transylvania: Do we really need more Hotel Transylvania?
Plankton: Would have preferred if they did a movie on Squidward, but Plankton will do.
Leviathan: Interesting.
Pookoo: I’ll never watch a Skydance film until the man we just talked about is gone…
Tokyo Override: Looks too much like Akira…
Twilight Of The Gods: I hate all of Zack Snyder’s works!
Wallace & Gromit: I CAN’T WAIT!!!😸
Wolf King: Game Of Thrones with werewolves.
The Imaginary: Another film with imaginary friends?
In Your Dreams: I’m not sure about this…
Jentry Chau VS The Underworld: This looks cool.
Sailor Moon Cosmos: YES!!! FINALLY!!! (And what a coincidence that Sailor Moon is now my profile picture!🌙😻)
Saving Bikini Bottom: Probably going to be the worst SpongeBob movie…
Spellbound: Same opinion as Pookoo.
That Christmas: Not really a big Christmas movie person. (Then again, I’m also Jewish.😅✡)
The Twits: I guess we’ll just wait and see on this one.
Sony animation is being like Pixar milking Toy Story
