Amazing work, the pastels at the end really sealed it for me and in general your sculpting has grown so much in this one! I was wondering why when smoothing out the clay you use acetone instead of isopropyl alcohol, I use IPA a lot and I see other crafters too so just curious!
Great question, I use a mix of both! I find that acetone is like the super powered version of isopropyl alcohol for when there are deeper gashes/imperfections, it just melts the clay. I used isopropyl to smooth the really delicate details like the wrinkles around the eyes!

Strangley this guy looked *more* unclothed *after* the loincloth, although I strongly suspect it's because you were bringing him to life more with each step. Redefining the blocks (and of course that rosy wash) made so much difference. Hugely impresed by all the little details you always include.

Ok, hear me out because I felt the same when I saw the teaser After I watched the official trailer and some behind the scenes stuff (I hadn’t even learned of the Creaking yet so I had to catch up on Minecraft live too) it kinda grew on me, like it’s goofy so I can’t be too mad at it, plus the set design is great which is probably what won me over The hardest part for me is seeing real people next to all these CGI things Lmaoo that might take me a bit to get used to
@CrossingCrafts I mean, I'm gonna watch it and give it a fair assessment. Minecraft has given me too much to not give it a shot. I just can't help but feel like maybe they could have gone the transformers one route, and made it fully CGI animated.
