No ones talking about the fact that CDPR included a high res scan of the entire cyberpunk2020 sourcebook hidden in the games directory files. It’s in the folder labeled extras. I’m for real, go check, it’s dope af. Now anyone who bought this game can play a game of cyberpunk2020 with their friends if they want. I think that’s really nice of them. Still think they should’ve delayed the game, at least the console versions, but I still gotta give them props for that. That’s a good $20 value for free for everyone who bought the game
I remember playing Witcher 2 and being blown away by how dramatically your choices changed the game. Cyberpunk feels like a tight story based rpg that was forced into a shallow open world crime game. They had to sacrifice a depth of narrative choice for the open world element but the open world element isn't developed enough to stand on its own. The game is afraid to commit to one style so it compromises and both halves of the game are worse off for it. Cop Ai and collision damage is busted but 95% of choice is either an illusion or a slight variation on context.
I wish my game looked this clear and ran this smoothly, I'm on PS4 and it's like having to watch your favorite movie on a 30 year old home recorded VHS tape that is worn down and skips every 5 seconds.
The reason the music sounds so familiar is cause they got a lot of popular artists to write music for it like run the jewels and refused I think I even heard wiz Khalifa lol
My hopes for immersive sim legacy died when I found a pretty obvious looking way into a mission building without greeting the receotionist and couldn't progress or leave.

I can't believe it but IGN was right; by the 40 hour mark I had completed all the side missions and finished the main story. Whenever I end up doing a second playthrough going through all that same side content again just to see a few minor changes that you need premeditated knowledge for is going to suck...

One reason people might have been expecting more of an RPG is due to Cyberpunk being based on a tabletop RPG by R. Talsorian Games.
