Great videos man keep it up. All the channels i watch are fun to watch like quad ricers or cars and cameras. But your channel is fun to watch plus your very in depth on how to work on go karts or mini bikes. So if i wanna do it. I know how. Most just do it and show off. But your helping the every day guy do stuff like that. I have never see a better how to channel to amd enjoy it

dude you are the only page i use now for how to's. you never skip anything (something i cant stand that other pages do) and you also clearly explain and get straight to the point without 20+ minute videos with half of it them rambling about some BS. Just found your channel and love all the videos! However, I have a question regarding this one... Where can I find/buy the throttle cable eyelet that you use on this build. My top plate kit didn't come with one, and I can't seem to find one anywhere.
I love y'alls videos...I'm doing the throttle plate on my son's go kart where is a good place to order a 1 gallon frame mount gas tank on the cheap. The only ones close to what I need on Ebay are spun aluminum and there over $100

Total newb at this, but I received my top plate and have watched the video a few times.....do I need to remove the governor, or can I keep that aspect and just slap this bad boy to get better throttle response.

The 'throttle cable eyelet' looks suspiciously like a brass plumbing compression fitting. :P
Great video, I only wish it were up when I installed mine a couple months ago; It would’ve gone much smoother lol. One question, just curious as to why you didn’t use the round return spring that came with the kit? It took me a minute to figure out how it went, but eventually I got it on there. In this video u install a part u call a throttle cable eyelet on the end of the throttle cable. Is this part included in the top plate kit. It’s not shown in the picture on there web sight?

Have you ever tried making your own exhaust header using square tubing? I did one for my 212cc and shaped it to the port then two 45's and also did stepping the pipe to make it a scavenger style exhaust so it creates a slight vacuum and I think it is defiantly a lot snappier throttle response with the stock carburetor. I live where it gets very cold so the cart I am building will be enclosed with doors and windows and I made a shield to utilize the heat from the engine and exhaust to push heat into the cab and defrost the window. One day I will have to do a video on it
I always use 1" pipe to make my headers
I would imagine square tubing with 45 degree angles would have less of a flow rate than a round pipe mandrel at 45 degrees, which in turn you would lose hp with square pipe.

I have a shaller gokart. I tried to switch the honda gx 160 with a preditor 212 that i have modded but the main shaft on the honda is 1.9 and the preditor is 2.3 so the clutch wont work this way any ideas. This is my first attempt at a post so bear with me please. God bless.

You can mount it on the top plate. You would have to mount it on the frame somewhere. I will see if they sell one that will let you leave the tank on and do a video on it soon

Just curious because I'm going to remove them and replace them with the gopowersports Springer spindles and don't really want to sweep them back . what's your opinion my brotherman from another land? Hey i got a question. Im doing the torque converter and predator 212 on my coleman ct200u but when i hooked up the throttle its really hard to move and doesnt really work. Like the manual throttle on the engine you really gotta give it force to move and it will stick whereevr you move it. And it just doesnt really work from the handlebar throttle. Any tips?
The Colemans can get water down in the throttle cables and make them seize up on you. You can spray some pb-blaster down the cable and clear it up. Also lube up the throttle assembly.

What throttle cable are you using, my cables never fit snug in that brass fitting.
Just one from go power sports. I usually have to cut the rubber off to make them fit

Go for the torque converter!
He uses torque converters not clutches

Kylee Bates True. I actually tossed my stock carb and bought a new one. Way better.
Kylee Bates The only thing that would suck is the whole "moving the gas tank" thing. Referring to a mini bike. Not too many places to go with them tanks. Haha.
Torch Monkeys Garage the best and cheapest thing for better throttle response and more hp and torque is a cheap 26 dollar mikuni carburetor manifold and get a cheap 22mm pit bike carb from ebay or Amazon and get jets for it as well, then your problems solved lol ive been messing with both true mikuni and chinese cheap pit bike carbs and for the money you cant beat the hp and torque gain as well as using one or 2 thin steal gaskets and a gx200 head stud kit and about a .930" header you might just be close to 16 17hp depending on if you know how to tune it

hey R.B.G. those mini bikes yall got would they be powerful enough in stock form to take on a camping trip in the mountains (hilly gravel roads ) my intentions are to haul a small trailer
4x3 ish im 5 ft. 11 in. 140 ish lbs. my fiance is 5ft. 9in. and around 260 lbs. we were wanting to take a trip to for maybe a weekend to see the mountains of north ga... im thinking i may need to change the sprocket to a larger diameter to compensate for the hills and well my fiance's weight any info would surely be appreciated...

Did the stage 1 on my 212. But after 25 to 35 minutes running it dies like it out of fuel any ideas
Its hard to say. Make sure the float isn't getting stuck and there is no trash in the carb bowl
Is there any way of hooking up a cable to the choke on these predator Engines? I'm going to put one in a golf cart and would like to have a choke without having to raise the seat when engine is cold. Thanks

Anybody have any ideas as to how to relocate the fuel tank on a fully tube frame cart? I ordered this top plate but i’m worried about what i’m going to do with the fuel tank once i install it
Gas tank is just gravity fed as long as the line is relatively straight down you should be fine. You can get a clear like and see if the fuel flows. Another option you can get a pulse pump which is a small fuel pump which is typically used in high performance builds that require the fuel
Something u also need to know is to grease all moving parts

Check wish or eBay basicly Google performance parts for gx 200 or 6.5 clone engine dress up bolt kit..
Here's a lil tip I use my girlfriends nail polish and just lightly sand the factory bolts and apply what ever colour yu want let dry and then top coat with clear coat.. looks sick and way cheaper... enjoy

You can just put a 50 dollar mikuni kit it it will rip ass. I done that to my go kart and it kills all the big block ones with a 212cc...
GT20Modding It it not 10 bucks it is 20 with a sale on it but the sale is gonna end soon and will have it's original price 35$. But the Mikuni's price is 30$ + if you need the manifold it comes around 20$
