I play GT sport and regularly match against qualifylol. He usually doesn’t set a quali time till later in the week of the daily races but is real fast. I think he prefers to fight up the grid over just starting top 3.

I've races against him before and he's actually very dirty. Two different races with him and both times he punted me 3-5 times per race. He's ridiculously dirty

@@nickthompson1812 nope he made contact into me first actually from rear ending me hard enough to where my car exits the whole track. And if you think that was by mistake, when I catch back up he does it again and then a third time later in that race, and then when a different race he comes behind me flashing his brights like crazy before being a jerk again and hitting me off again. He either has a short temper and I must have done something small enough to where I don't even know what set him off the deep end, or he likes to pick on random people to troll in the B ranks until he gets to the A+ rank. Either way it's not okay.
LMP1s never had much issues with dirty air, covered wheels and a focus on underbody downforce help a lot.
That’s the philosophy being used for next years F1s regulations. Reducing dirty air anyway they can with wheel covers and ground effect.

Always felt this. The game itself has always felt to me like an online GT7 Prologue. It's a good start for multiplayer gran turismo, just not fleshed out enough.

Lifelong U.S. resident here. I usually say "twenty " instead of "two thousand " because it's faster and easier, but the latter still sounds normal. "Two Thousand and " is used too, but most commonly when the speaker is trying to be grandiose (often jokingly or sarcastically). (though "two thousand and " is most common for the first nine years, i.e. "two thousand and one" instead of "twenty oh-one")

I'm from Argentina too and no matter your IP connection speed, PING sucks, so unless we get paired exclusively with Brazilians we will always lag as hell 😔

For gt7 online play, I'm hoping it's a little easier to just get into a race and for more variety. Having something like the weekly races we have now would be nice, but I'd also like something like the hopper system from forza so you can race on a bunch of different tracks. Or even just having like 3 daily races as well as 3 weekly races. At the very least it would be great if they would run all of the "daily" races every ten minutes rather than making you wait 20-30 minutes between races. That would make the "network error" be a little less painful

The sole focus of this chapter is to serve a big love letter to the fans, and it's very clear. They're bringing back everything GT fans want back and steering the series away from the GT6-GtSport direction and back to the GT4 standards of a hundreds of hours long replayable career mode, and i think that's great.
And while i'm very happy with that i think we can only tell wether it's gonna be done right or not once the game is actually out to be played. Now that polyphony will never abandon the online PVP modes from GT Sport and is working with a much more limited selection of cars compared to older games (especially lacking in the weird cars), it's hard to tell if we're gonna get either the best of both worlds to enjoy or only a crude reenactment of the early GT games that's more hindered by GT's modern standards than it is expanded by them. I don't think people want a game that feels like it's standing on the crutches of the success and praise it had 15-20 years ago, and it's gonna be up to polyphony to deliver either an _expanded and enhanced_ traditional gran turismo game or struggle to find the balance between the old and the new.

They should add casual lobbies in GT7 next to the competitive one they got now, and I'm not talking about the ones players can make since they're often empty or go empty after one race, take too long to get into racing. They for sure have to keep those but I want something with automatic matching for lets say you want to do longer gr.3 races and it just matches you and after each race you get a track vote and immediately go to the next one. Like the Forza hoppers.
it's incredible how fast and how much you improved in gt sport, i remember when supergt just started making gt sport videos, compared to now, supergt already mastered the game, his decision and overtaking is spot on all the time

They had this combination something like a year and a half ago, I remember because it was the only time besides F1500 in Brands Hatch that I held the 1st spot for like 4 days in qualy times in the American region lol.

In the last couple of years there's been a lot of youtubers apologising for not posting regularly and this really is silly. I personaly have subscribed to just around a 100 channels, and even my favourite YT'rs like (Hello Viewers) Super GT here misses a whole month, I'm totally fine with that, especially if he's very busy or taking some well deserved rest. I hope you read this Steve and I hope more people have less expectations, in general as well.

Absolutely loved this race, no wins this time, but loads of top 5 finishes. Suzuka is an amazing circuit 👌
If there isn't a similar multiplayer mode to GT Sport in GT7 there's no way I'm buying it. GT Sport has a great competitive multiplayer and I was never really fan of just collecting cars and playing against AI. It would be sad if they ditch that just because their long time fans were hating on GT Sport for focusing on multiplayer.
It’s also sad to see them abandon the modern / updated racing disciplines for eternally useless classic race cars

Sick! I did this track on Real Racing 3 in a Nissan GTR, Dodge Charger SRT, and a Dodge Viper, First Gen - very nice track I must say.

My thoughts of GT 7 is it will be a good game, but for the online races I don't think it will be having as much content as GT Sport online races

This was a great race and I had a blast trying it out, though I'm not good enough to drive these cars effectively. Just got the game this past week and enjoying it!
GR2 AND GR3 is the best classes. Gr1 is too superior for me, gr4 is too slow. Miss you dude, good to see again.

Actually, this combo has been in Sport mode before! I know this because Ialmost never play Sport mode, so from the few races I've done I can vividly remember driving on Suzuka in a 919.
Did the 1000km race here in in the pug fap HDI in GT5 non stop drizzle made it greasy. Once you get your head around how bloody fast the car is on warm slick and remember how awful it is when there cold, amazing! The npc drivers were bastards though…

I think the ease with which you find driving in Gr.1 is largely due to the LMP-1 vehicles having such a steep learning curve. The other drivers do not find it easy to drive consistently and so when you, who actually does know what they're doing, appear in Gr.1, you find overtaking others trivial.
Watching these cars reminds me of how the F1 cars handle in GT3/4.
Gran Turismo sport really is that great anymore. It’s the only game I have issues trying to play online. No it’s not my service provider because I’m able to play my other games online no issue & yes the game has current update installed. I’m coming here instead of reaching out to PSN or even GT because I find comment sections are a lot more useful than customer service.

I tried to race in the 787B, hard to keep up. Anyway in that car you couldn't start on the soft tires. But in the R18 lemans you'd start on softs by default.

I think GT Sport has done a wonderful job of kind of merging the concepts of “public lobby quick matches” with a racing game. Similar to how with an FPS game, you log in, click the game mode you want, and boom you’re in a game. I love that about GT Sport.
I agree the concept is under developed though. I think weekly races are great, and the manufacturers series is great, but we need more. Daily races in addition to weekly races would be very nice. I think the 1 make, Race A style races could easily change every day.
What I would love to see is a “track shuffle” game mode, basically a sport mode version of how some people run custom lobbies. You sign up for the sport mode lobby, in a given category (Gr4, Gr3, etc). You do a race on a track, there’s a couple minute break, and you race the same cars on a new track, rinse and repeat. Qualifying could be a thing, but random grids or reverse grids could also be used. These would be short sprint races.
Then have the weekly races be longer duration races, with qualifying, tire/fuel consumption, pit stops, etc. Basically like what Race C usually is.
