Many thanks. It seems like with Warcry there are events happening but we don't see nearly as much coverage on them as Killteam does for example which kind of gives the impression that they aren't happening. As for me, I'll keep making stuff as long as Games Workshop keeps their end of the bargain and continues the game support.
This is awesome! I’m really excited about this warband and you’ve given me many ideas to think about. I’m wondering what tactics you learned from the tournament, like positioning and what good engagements you took were…
bearing in mind that we were running the matched play missions from the core book, and at least two of those want your dagger on the field for treasure grabbing; My mindstealer and a bloated one were in my dagger to deploy forward and steal treasure, Witherlord and outcast in shield and the remainder in the hammer. Bloated ones, despite their 18 wounds and T4 are actually quite squishy so ideally you want to be aggressive with them to get onto treasure or points and force your opponents to waste actions trying to charge/attack you instead of the other way around where you can use your pretty amazing combat stats to kill most fighters. We also played reaper where the hard lesson was that its sometimes better not to kill fighters if you are ahead and leave them on low wounds for kill points on the next turn. Finally, I managed to draw vs a nurgle chimera list through a combination of board blocking, and both nets from the mindstealer and its quad but ill talk more about that in the next video :)
Many thanks. I really love how warcry has turned out as a game (this is me coming from the main games and killteam) so I'm keen to get it as much exposure as possible.
Great analysis, the Internet really needs some good Warcry competitive content, thank you a lot! I have been experimenting with some triple Witherlord lists for extreme redundancy, not bad! I hope you can cover the new Sundered Fate warbands, they both seem quite tactical and complex. Cheers!
Many thanks. Triple Witherlord seems expensive but their base damage is pretty good so I can see it working (if you the boxes for 3x Witherlord then 3x Bloated Ones also?). I am working on a Hunters of Huanchi warband right now so I'll definitely be covering that eventually once I've got some games in with them.
@@OffMetaMusings that is one of the lists I'm testing, but I don't feel comfortable with only 6 models, I have also tried 3 Witherlord, 2 Bloated with net, 3 Outcasts with two weapons (1000 points). Your opponent really learns to fear the Witherlords when you can one shot something wlth their Triple and when then they see three of them approaching they don't know where to move.
Thanks!! Just assembling my first sprue of Roomier Creed and this video is very helpful! Also looking at Serpent Fang Trueblood as a possible ally, but your list with Sphiranx looks really interesting! BTW I am pretty sure that the Sphiranx is 260 points, not 265 as you have in your list.
My target minimum number of fighters for the rumblepack is 8; this allows you to get a 3 fighter deployment in your dagger so that's where I would start. Most probably if you were to go pure rotmire creed, you would go something like Witherlord, 3x Bloated Ones, and fill out with Outcast for a numerous warband with still alot of punch. Check out this tournament report where I took Rotmire Creed to victory in a rumblepack event; th-cam.com/video/EhOdi14TaqQ/w-d-xo.html
My idear was to Play with 11 Modells. 7 Models with two weapons for 65 points. Then you can build a Army with 1000 Points. You get 28 attacks ( 7 fighter 4 dice) If you prefer the guys with shield you have 6 Models with 3 dices) If you build the Warband with 7 Guys with two weapons you have 10 attacks more. Isnt it a good Idea? Sorry for my bad englisch. Greetings
Hello and Welcome :) It's not a terrible idea actually; 7x Outcast w. bilewood weapons and the mandatory Witherlord comes to 630 points leaving 370 points for 2x Bloated Ones of any flavour you like and another 80-90 points left over, maybe for something like a thralled Fury for a fast moving fighter. If I were going with that kind of theme I would probably use my 80 points and an Outcast to buy a third Bloated One for a 10 man warband with more consistent damage.
Nice to see another full-on content creator for Warcry! You and Dan at the Salty Sea are the guys that make the Warcry meta scene a lot less empty!

This is great! The perfect amount of detail.
Many thanks.
Really enjoying your content.. Thanks for the efforts! Glad to see Warcry getting more discussion

For sure. It's not about them all using the injector, rather the threat of any one of them using it.
Very nice. Thank you.
very much welcome

How would you build these swampy lads for rumble pack?

@@OffMetaMusings Absolutley. Thank you so much for your content and time answering. May I ask why is dagger important for that?
@Robert Viscomi on the two 6x objective missions the dagger starts on the board so you want as many fighters as possible to start
where can i get more bloated ones? iirc the box comes with only one bloated one
I converted the other two of mine; The bloodbowl Nurgle team is a great source of bits for Rotmire Creed :)
Can you have 2x witherlord in your warband?
You sure can! A warband can have up to 3x fighters with the hero runemark.
I dont understand one thing. You roster is 1015 points. It isnt 1000 points max? Thanks for the info.
Ah yes, there is an error in that list; the Outcasts should have bilewood weapons instead of shields. That brings the list down to 1000 points :)
