My big comments from my experience: - Snorbo da Spore is just a Mushroom musician. So proxying him is super easy. The best alternative is a Squig herder with mushroom bagpipes. - Also Grinkrak, Grib, Burk, & Naggz are always worth it if you'd be taking any of their standard counterparts & you can spare 5 points because you're getting the Seraphon reaction from those extra points. - Sepulchre Guard are 100% going to be a disappointment when you realize they're not only more expensive but not rezzable.

Thanks a lot! have collected LOTS of Underworlds to use in Warcry (and because they are often the best models). Now I know which to build and paint first!

New to the game but I just had a blast playing The Exiled Dead over Vampire Lord + chaff. The "chain lightning" ability adds a much needed additional layer of strategy, imo. This video made me want to try Zondara next! Maybe Brethren of the Bolt if it wasn't tied to a box of stuff I don't want

What you are suggesting is the reason people hate gw. People need to know their investment shouldn't be going anywhere. Legends is a crappy idea as majority of people who play gw are super competitive

I will appreciate if you or Rob answer. What’s the question: For example, enemy attacks my steelhelm. He has in 3’range both fusilier and another steelhelm. So I have 2 ally: one with bulwark runemark and one with elite. Do I get both effects? +1T and 2damage on miss? Or I have to choose one effect in this situation?

It's really nice to see that timeline with all the updates. It really shows how well supported Warcry is when you look beyond just the physical releases.

Was looking for the Divine Blessings rules and these are printed in WD 490 and not 470 ... Been taking copies of these extra rules in my WD, and was missing these. Tx for metioning the Divine Blessings rules

That's why I think instead of new edition, I would rather have new rulebook with updated rules and full compendium.

I am flat out determined to make Fyreslayers not bad. Haven't figured it out yet but there HAS to be something there with 65 point T5 chaff.

Nice run through! Hard disagree on the Horns of Hashut though. We need more, not less bespokes in the top and a lot of them need help to be competative, nerfing them is the wrong way to go. And I still belive most warbands should have something that is a bit undercosted/overeffective, to give them a distinct character. That the horns had good/cheap slaves was excellent since they are the slave factions. The flame hurler nerf was alright too - it can be downright devastating and hard to counter if there are several.

Totally agree on Ratogors. Ya they are great but if you can damage them and/or kill their packmaster is severely mitigates a lot of their power. Range 2 smashy guys with decent life can at least force a bad points trade. My Big Stikkas have been working in that regard.

My favorite weird Shroom heads aren't getting much play, sadly I'll only maybe be able to change that in coming tts leagues.

No Question Warcry will still be supported IMO. I think the competitive scene is good and and is likely carrying the game as a whole. BUT I’d love to see a cruncher Campaign system, one more like Mordheim, with modern Warcry rules. Talking I guess a style more like Necromunda. That system is crunchy. And this, only for campaigns…. Not one off battles or competitive play/tournaments. Right now, the campaign in Warcry is better than 1st edition, but it’s still lacking. Kind of like, “what am I playing for”? A lesser artifact here, a consumable there, etc. there appears to be no end to it either, looks like it just keeps going. Is that good or bad? I don’t know. Warcry will still be my number 1 game for easy one off battles (aside from Kill Team).

A factor that doesn't really get captured by the meta data is how the availability of a given faction or model affects the rate at which it appears (for allies), or the win rate (for factions). For example, Vulkyn Flameseekers are a relatively strong, recent bespoke faction that is playable with using a single box. These factors mean that Flameseekers are getting played a LOT, and probably disproportionately by relatively inexperienced players, which pulls the win rate down due to player skill level rather than the inherent power of the warband. Tournament win rates for generic space marines in 40K (basically, Ultramarines) are pulled down by this same factor--they are popular with new players, which pulls the average skill and experience level of pilots downward. Similarly, the Clawback and Beastnob are probably popular largely because they are readily available to Warcry players, both coming from popular, recent bespoke warbands. There are other ally candidates in Ironjaws and Ogors that are at least as strong, but are less accessible to Warcry players, being locked in AoS unit kits a Warcry player would have to spend $60 or more just to get access to a single model. For this reason, I suspect the frequent inclusion of the Clawback and Beastnob is more due to their easy availability, rather than their being significantly more powerful than other potential destruction allies.

I think the Darkoath are missing from the ALL Warbands section - they did make it into the Podium Data section, so I assume this is an oversight, and not a lack of data?

very interesting as a casual player who only plays with friends/family. I've been rocking the Questor Soulsworn recently because of just how miserable a time I was having with my last warband (Daughters of Khaine) and have been enjoying a lot more success. although our resident Seraphon player always makes it tricky as they tend to one shot most of my team. surprised the Questor are as low as they are - especially when they have the most allied unit too. looking forward to what 2025 brings (hopefully some buffs to DoK so they are actually playable)
