I love these cookbook reviews so much, they’ve gotten me leaving sticky notes in my recipe books and trying more of them out instead of letting them collect dust

Without a doubt, your channel on both TH-cam and TikTok has become my new favorite cooking channel! The long-format videos are a blast to watch, and I'm learning a ton from how you analyze the dishes and get exposure to all the different cuisines I dont have easy access to
As an aspiring home cook, my goal is to become a pro chef for my family, and seeing that you two are essentially living that life gives me inspiration and motivation

Well done and competently edited. I enjoyed watching the two of you enjoying working together. Excellent commentary on the book's flaws.

What brand of black vinegar do y’all use? I love it at our local dumpling place, but I can’t find a good one!

Kinda depends, but the best one we've found online is themalamarket.com/products/zhenjiang-chinkiang-vinegar-6-year
It's a bit smoother and more well-rounded than most that we find in stores.

Thanks for the review! P.111 "Chilli Beets + Lima Beans with Cucumber Olive Salad" was really good. The Cauliflower Bolognese is terrible, skip it.

Respect but hard disagree, every time I've made the Cauliflower Bolognese it's been a hit. You do have to patiently brown the cauliflower at the beginning to get the right flavor but it's nice and light and tasty at the end.

@@johnbalch4491 Good tip! I'll give it another shot. Sounds like the recipe might be a bit conservative as written? (4-5 minutes, lightly browned.)
