I had a 1st Gen Benelli M1 Super 90 that absolutely refused to function with anything but full power heavy buckshot. Now those are not gas guns and use the recoil spring inside the bolt to cycle so they're a bit different...but I'm betting the problem encountered here is the same one, that being the hammer spring is too heavy. Of course to cycle the bolt has to fully re-cock the hammer and that effort is a lot to overcome especially since the bolt makes initial contact so low on the hammer that it has little leverage. Remember that's one of the ways we tailor 1911's to their ammo by adjusting the radius of the firing pin retaining plate. Anyhow...the hammer spring was being compressed right to coil bind when fully cocked...and a simple removal of one coil made the gun run 100% with anything looking like a shotgun shell afterwards. Loved that gun...and just wonder how many 'fussy about ammo' guns out there just need a tiny tweak of spring tension to fix them? If you have a 'fussy' gun...check that hammer spring.
I can't help but appreciate the craftsmanship that went into this shotgun, even if it's a departure from the iconic Benelli M4. Sure, it may not have the same heritage or prestige, but let's give credit where it's due.
@@biggysnaps2827 That's what I was thinking 😆 The M4 has multiple years on the field to prove itself for reliability. $1,600 or $1,700 are getting way to close to the cost of the real deal to even consider.
Honestly it makes no sense to buy this over the M4 in my opinion. There’s just not enough savings to justify a knockoff when you’re talking a 300 dollar difference. I will say it looks like a great shotgun but it’s about $700-800 too much for a knockoff I’m sorry. Just save an extra month or so and get the real deal. Great video as usual bro
Thanks for the honest review, pay that much money for a shotty that wobbles it's sights off is a joke tbh. Least for a 350$ clone, you half expect it to fail in ways, fix it and break it in and by the end it's go to go and was less than most commercial AR's.
BENELLI M3 SUPER 90 PICKUP back in 1990 for ABOUT $1000 SHIPPED to my LOCAL FFL this was AUTO/ PUMP AWESOME gun made me Feel SARA CONNER FROM T2 that gun Could take down 8 people in 5 seconds
Ill always love my m1 super 90. Its never failed me. Been a boat paddle, a club, and a crutch. Like an actual crutch not an emotional one. Well maybe a little of an emotional crutch. Had it almost 2 decades and i wouldnt sell it for anything.
Turkey is plenty capable of producing any quality you want. It’s the importers that are setting the specs. They are basically telling the manufacturers what price point they want, and they manufacture down to it. This gun does have a lifetime, transferable warranty though. However, for less than a grand, you can get the LE Beretta A300 Patrol, put on an optic, light and sling and still be under $1500.
FYI, you are not supposed to shoot without a choke. Just have correct choke for the shot - cylinder or improved cylider is ok for slugs. Now the thread on the barrel is most likely gone. As far as the turkish shotguns go, I 100% agree, they are not there yet. Maybe some day.. But this makes you appreciate crafstmanship and know-how that goes to (more expensive) OGs.
Had a Gforce Arms SAX2T. It ran 3" shells out of the box without issue. 2-3/4" were hit and miss and also caused super weak ejection. After about 80 or 90 rounds it cleared up and ate whatever I fed it. Paid 350 for it. Biggest issue I had was the trigger not resetting after a shot. It was happening at random. I opened a support ticket with GForce Arms and they sent me shipping tags to send it in to have em work on it. RIght before I sent it off I decided to take out the trigger pack and take a look. After some time I figured out it wan't even the trigger. It was the safety. Turns out the notch on the crossbolt safety where the rear of the trigger indexes into it was getting lodged into the channel for it, if I squeezed the trigger hard. So I cleaned up the channel of the safety, taking a few thousands of an inch off. (Of course keeping plenty of material still there for the safety to work) After cleaning it up it wasn't an issue again. Going in I expected problems being it's an 350 dollar semi auto turk shotty.
Now it ain’t semi auto, and it doesn’t look as cool, but it’s still damn hard to beat the value of a maverick 88 security. Super reliable, 8+1, and ~$270
I think the stock is causing malfunctions. If the bolt is meant to have the inertia to travel enough to eject the spent shell casing from the original design, then the recoil mitigation of the stock is slowing the bolt short of ejection.
so nice to see u do a vid on these new turkish bolt-action shottys that look cool like the BM4 XD, on a more serious note it does look baller. and so do ur vids
Why would you pay 1301 prices, even slightly more, for a Turkish knockoff? The whole reason of going with knockoffs is because they're significantly cheaper. Get a 1301, save yourself a ton and get an A300, or pony up just a little bit more and get an actual M4. This thing is pointless.
I have one of the turknelli knockoff M4s I think called the SDS Tac-12, which I think was a slightly better version of the Panzer S4. Initially it just hung up on everything, birdshot, slug, buck, whatever. I found out it was basically just the feed ramp that was too sharp an angle. Polished it up and now it runs everything. Yes even cheapo bird shot. I think it was a well spent $600. Not gonna shell out $1600 for a clone when you can get a real one for $200 more but $600 was a good price
yes I understand I'm late to commenting but that issue with the fiocchi bird shot is something my friends had the same issue with last year in a semi auto hunting shotgun to the extent of partially tearing brass off the shell seems to be a QC issue with their ammo not just isolated to us that is wild
@immikeurnot bullshit, sample size of 3 in my friend group and never had 1 failure in probably close to 800rds on all 3 guns (800 rds per gun). We've seen more than that on real banellis on GT and TFBTV. M4's are over hyped to hell and back.
Looking at getting a Panzer M4 SPEED PRO they’re around $600. Look solid MLok, Pic rails, ports, pistol grip. +2 tube extension if you want to buy it. A 1:1 replica you can put any Benelli parts on there. For $600 I can get a tactical shotgun with wood finish and then change out parts at will to make it reliable. But then it’s like dammit should I just get the A300 then
I bought a Panzer Arms M4 and replaced the stock with their adjustable one, threw on a Vortex red dot, Midwest Industries handguard, muzzle brake choke tube (because why not), a crimson trace light I had lying around for another build I never got around to and a full length mag tube. Including ammo (500 00 buck from black aces, and 500 turkish slugs) the total cost was about the same as the Orthos. I've thus far put a little under 500 rounds of various slugs, 00 buck and high velocity buckshot through it without issue. So far. The turkish slugs are garbage tier, at least one of them was loaded super light and barely kicked (gun still cycled fine though), and just looking at the rifling on the slugs themselves as well as the "hollow point" on the tip, they were only good for range use. The 00 buck from black aces was/is fine. Is it a Benelli? No. Is it just as good? No. Is it "good enough" if you just want the looks and a fun range toy? Absolutely. I wouldn't trust it for home defense, let alone actual combat use. One day I'll get the real one.
I bought my 1301 for 1300 a couple years ago. Not sure exactly how much they are now. Extension tube. And a case of limited flight buck shot later. It still works just fine.
Anything this man posts makes everything better, it makes gaming better, it makes food better, it makes socializing better, and it makes my life better :)
This will be a long comment. I bought A Taurus P92 AF for 424.$ On 02.07.09 As with everything I buy I want to know all about it. So when researching this tool I found out that Beretta couldn't complete the build quaintness required by the military. It was easier to duplicate all there tooling and ship it all off to south America to Miguel Taurus. Each item even had Beretta stamped on it. So you never knew if you got a Italian tool or one from south America. Once the contract was filled Italy thought it would cost too much to have all the tooling sent back. Miguel made them an offer and thats how the Taurus company began. I know that was off topic but fallow along. On 02.23.2016 I bought a Mossberg JM930 PRO for only 691.01$. Before I ever used it I took it to a friends house that thought he had to have the best in everything. He popped off every round in it and and said "Damn this is as good if not better than my Bonelli"! How much did it cost? He asked. He was sick when I told him. Unfortunately I lost my collection in a boating accident.
You mentioning the Safari vest being great with a shotgun just made me think back to Jurassic Park and clever girl. You totally missed it even though it's not a SPAS
Bought the same exact shotgun and I love it! Haven’t had any malfunctions so far with about 500 rounds of mix bag. Paid 1700 for it, sure that’s steep but it’s definitely a cheaper option than the m4 I have to pay another 1k to upgrade. 🤷♂️
I don't shoot shotgun enough to upgrade my Remington 1100 tac 2. I'm pretty happy with the Remington after a spring upgrade it runs flawless but I don't compete with it so I really don't need an up grade for like 3 to 4 times what I paid for the remy.
I have a cannuk operator elite (one of the better Turknelli) and for about 250 rounds I had to shoot 1¼Oz load. To break it in. Now I can shoot challenger 1oz target slug with no failure ti eject. I get maybe 1 failure every 30-40 shots. Just yesterday I shot 75 rounds and didn't have 1 failure.
As cool as thay thing looks, for the price if you're on a budget and you have to have a semi😉 get either the Mossberg 940 pro tac or the Beretta A300 both can be had for about $1000 and then you have money left over for a decent optic and accessories and you have an American made(yes the Beretta is USA made) shotgunnthat you know the company will likely be around 10 years from now to warranty the thing if you abuse it.
Not sure if it was just me but it looked like the benelli hard much harder ejection? I wonder if the porting hurts its cycling. I would be into it if it cycled everything but having malfunctions is concerning for the money.
In the game Hearts of Iron 2, Italian tech teams were all pretty good but almost universally lacked industrial efficiency as one of their skills. I always think of it when I see Italian products because that it was so spot on. Beretta might have been one of the few that did, I can't remember.

Sure, it may not have the same heritage or prestige, but let's give credit where it's due.
there is no credit due here.

That's what I was thinking 😆
The M4 has multiple years on the field to prove itself for reliability.
$1,600 or $1,700 are getting way to close to the cost of the real deal to even consider.
@@biggysnaps2827the turknelli garand thumb used performed better than the actual benelli in the recent tourture test video
I own a Benelli M-Faux my Revolution armoury here in canada and I quite like it.
Love the “No country for old men” reference!
Ill always love my m1 super 90. Its never failed me. Been a boat paddle, a club, and a crutch. Like an actual crutch not an emotional one. Well maybe a little of an emotional crutch. Had it almost 2 decades and i wouldnt sell it for anything.
I died at the my wife would be really mad at me. He’s so real for that
The problem is the A300 Ultima Patrol and Mossberg 940 Pro Tactical exist for 2/3 of the price.
9:01 some metal gear solid 4 advertisement pleading screen right here 💎
the dreadnaught horn genuinly scared me
Turkey is plenty capable of producing any quality you want.
The way I see it, ported barrel, mlok rail, cerakote finish. For a little less than m4 MSRP, badass gun just like he said the m4 still exists
Minecraft music over a Clint Smith quote is not what I expected this early into 2024.
Let's talk Turkey on this episode of Administrative Results!!!
Truly a good day when you upload, King
You thought I wouldn’t catch the MW2 intro theme, but I did.
Yeah BUDDY! BOUGHT MINE A MONTH AGO AND IT'S ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!! LOVE IT MAN!!!
(Of course keeping plenty of material still there for the safety to work)
After cleaning it up it wasn't an issue again.
Going in I expected problems being it's an 350 dollar semi auto turk shotty.
Now it ain’t semi auto, and it doesn’t look as cool, but it’s still damn hard to beat the value of a maverick 88 security. Super reliable, 8+1, and ~$270
Great video as always Admin
This my first vid and Ngl bro I think you’re my fav guntuber now lol
I think the stock is causing malfunctions. If the bolt is meant to have the inertia to travel enough to eject the spent shell casing from the original design, then the recoil mitigation of the stock is slowing the bolt short of ejection.
so nice to see u do a vid on these new turkish bolt-action shottys that look cool like the BM4 XD, on a more serious note it does look baller. and so do ur vids
I miss the Benelli M-Faux title. RIP in pepperonis
Your love for cinema makes the content fun. Keep doing your thing cause I fucking love it😂👍
Love the shades and the vest, very 1970 "Villain" look.
Bro i love the minecraft music during the slow mo
Why would you pay 1301 prices, even slightly more, for a Turkish knockoff? The whole reason of going with knockoffs is because they're significantly cheaper.
Get a 1301, save yourself a ton and get an A300, or pony up just a little bit more and get an actual M4. This thing is pointless.
I already got 2 cheap Turkenelli knock off M4's.. and for that kind of money I would just get a Beretta 1301!
The minecraft music in the background fits so well lol
Smoothest ad intro/Segway seen yet. 😎 ... table add. smooth touch
Minecraft music while shooting watermelons really came out of left field. Kind of a vibe
I didn't know I was going to get your ad break before the video
I really love those little cinematic scenes lol, great review btw. I’m still waiting for a new episode of rip the drip
yes I understand I'm late to commenting but that issue with the fiocchi bird shot is something my friends had the same issue with last year in a semi auto hunting shotgun to the extent of partially tearing brass off the shell seems to be a QC issue with their ammo not just isolated to us that is wild
Mossberg 930 and 940JM Pro guns are still about 700-900 used (new?).
930 is same reliability of Turkish.
@immikeurnot bullshit, sample size of 3 in my friend group and never had 1 failure in probably close to 800rds on all 3 guns (800 rds per gun).
We've seen more than that on real banellis on GT and TFBTV. M4's are over hyped to hell and back.
I use to run a 870 with the Blackhawk Knocks stock... it double kicks and would induce failures
7:46 The Massad Ayoob vest
We NEEEED a Beretta shotgun review!
Drive a Fiat. I dare you.
I do too it just says Ram
Don't have to, it's driving itself into inflation.
Anything this man posts makes everything better, it makes gaming better, it makes food better, it makes socializing better, and it makes my life better :)
Sounds like you’re in love!
Nice review. For the money I think I would go for the Beretta A300, or just go all the way and get the M4.
For 1400 you can get a Beretta 1301. It's insane to buy this. If it was $800-1000 I'd consider it.
You should have gotten the 3 year protection plan plan for only $5.00 more on the mainstays folding table.
Now that's Greta value!
Lovin that Minecraft music mixed with guns🤙🏾
I don't shoot shotgun enough to upgrade my Remington 1100 tac 2. I'm pretty happy with the Remington after a spring upgrade it runs flawless but I don't compete with it so I really don't need an up grade for like 3 to 4 times what I paid for the remy.
“I don’t think I really like the way it looks”, “but you know what it really looks great the aesthetics omg”💀
7:09 The ghosts of THE ARDITI have entered the chat.
The Zuni skit was so really to me and any other military member
I have a cannuk operator elite (one of the better Turknelli) and for about 250 rounds I had to shoot 1¼Oz load. To break it in. Now I can shoot challenger 1oz target slug with no failure ti eject. I get maybe 1 failure every 30-40 shots. Just yesterday I shot 75 rounds and didn't have 1 failure.
I think that stock is pretty innovative. They may be starting something here.
My buddy has a M4 , ive never ran it but i have held it and stroked the hell out of it , he had a ton of money in her , tube ,furniture gas work rails and a Trijicon , if i remember right like 4 grand ish ?? Idk ? It nice though
Hi point did the spring recoil pads better lol. Great video!!!
Minecraft music and guns, now that's an unexpected combination 😂😂
Beretta 1301 Tact is my favorite.
Great review, I agree! If ya want it, get it, I’ll hold out for the M4. 👍🏻❤️🇺🇸
5:48 I don't have to find a hiding place, like you!!! hou hon hou hun
