Make sure when you are watching to sometimes check beyond the credits! Because in some of them there is more video. In addition to this, don't skip any of the videos because they don't say 'round' on them. They are still in that order to tell the story! What can I say about the Alien Stage universe is that the humans are considered as alien's pet. They were raised in a place called Anakt Garden to sing and compete with each other. Also yeah, the loser will be killed.
if youre confused, heres a little explanation of round 1! sua (short hair) and mizi (pink hair) were girlfriends. in this universe, aliens captured humans long ago, and they now use humans as livestock and entertainment. one of those entertainments being alien stage, where two humans go up against one another. these contestants are required to sing the **same song together** on stage (remember this, itll be helpful in round 2) and whoever gets the most points wins, the other is instantly eliminated (killed). the points i believe are determined automatically and not voted by aliens, so the person who sings the best wins or if the other makes a mistake they lose points, the system calculates the points depending on that. sua and mizi's goal was to get the same points and win together. however, sua never planned that, she knew it wouldnt work. she was pretending to go along with the plan because mizi saw her as the only hope she had in humanity, in this life. so at the end, sua intentionally made a mistake and let mizi win. she sacrificed herself because she knew the plan wouldnt work. alnst tells a story about humans who struggle in a world they dont belong to; and how their morals and emotions differ from what we might consider normal. because they dont truly know what "love" is, so they all try to love one another the way they understand "love". i wont try to influence your opinions or spoil you, but i just wanted to give a little summary! im so excited to see your reactions
