I don't really blame Ivan for being so weird about his obsession with Till. He wasn't treated well by the aliens from the beginning and basically had no understanding of what constituted a healthy relationship. His only real glimpse of that was when he first met Till. He wanted to be free with him, but when Till rejects that, Ivan didn't know what to do anymore. Till refuses to really even look at him, and now that they're all in this death game, Ivan's desperate to cling onto anything he can get from Till. That's why he gets into fights with him and hurts him and licks his blood, he just wants Till to LOOK at him. He maintains that mindset even in Round 6 when he decides to sacrifice himself for Till. The last, genuine piece of love he gave to Till without hurting him or really demanding attention from him is that soft little kiss at the very end when he sees that his score is lower than Till and that Till's going to live and he's going to die. He's SUCH an interesting character.
EXACTLY it's also like why I can't super blame everyone on the show 'cause everyone was brought up differently and had different situations. They also have never seen a fellow human before (I think) prior to the garden so their reactions and decisions are genuine and unfiltered. Though it was pretty toxic, Ivan just did what he felt he had to do.

Hi, I know someone already commented that Ivan and Mizi's relationship was actually one of the better ones by Ivan's standard (considering Ivan & Sua are more gay on gay crime.. I adore them, while with Till he's so in love w him but also provoked him a lot to get his attention). We have cute interactions of Ivan's piggybacking Mizi and Mizi asking Ivan about a /forbidden/ word, Ivan was just OvO and told her to ask Sua and Till (to tease them, it made them flustered). But I also want to mention that my take of Ivan is he was not.. possessive. We got interactions of Till and Ivan sitting together and Till was like "what do I say to Mizi?" and Ivan was like "maybe just ask her what she likes???" Also more than jealousy of Till's affection to Mizi, he was more envious of Sua who he thought was in the same boat as him down to their twisted personality, but she had Mizi's affection in return. This results in his pettiness and him calling Sua selfish for planning to die for Mizi when she knew she would became a trauma to her. But in his last thought, he thought he should've been nicer when he ended up the same (sacrificing himself for Till). Though he still thinks he was better than her because Till doesn't care for him much. His last, last thought was "Thank you for being a victim to my shallow emotions" ... he really did not understand how emotions work because none of what he possessed were shallow but I can't blame him considering their circumstances. Another thing is I don't think Till's feelings for Ivan is that simple. I can discern two: 1) his guilt, shown in how he averts his eyes when Ivan sat next to him at lunch and literally swiped his bloody wound to lick it. of what? probably their near escape where he went back because he can't stand the thought of leaving behind Mizi in that hellhole. 2) his care, shown in how he was hurt in a comic where Ivan (emotionally stunted) implied he does not see Till as a friend (by indirectly calling him a friendless loser) and with how he never called out Ivan's many attempts of stealing and returning his things to get his attention until their graduation where his message to Ivan was like "I know it was you who took my pencil" (he knew it was him all along, and he didn't even call out Ivan stealing the flute Mizi gave him). Ivan didn't notice this though because he only saw reiprocation (not even romantic ones) as being like Mizi and Sua. And until now we never got Till's POV on any of their interaction in main storyline (what did he think when Ivan freed him, when he took his hands and smile brightly under the meteor shower when they almost escape? what did he think afterwards when Ivan followed him back to captivity? what did he think about his collars that keep breaking when he was passed out?) Of course Ivan was also not all good because, again, they really live in the worst universe possible. Child Ivan did try to see what Mizi and Till would do if he got that guard dog to go after them, him seeing Till defend Mizi was what really set off his infatuation for Till in my opinion (shown in Black Sorrow where the scene of Till trying to get up and fight the dog was like falling stars in Ivan's eyes). Speaking of falling stars: the "until these falling stars are buried in the blur of time" line in Cure was Till's and not Ivan's. Just interesting thing I noticed. It's more probable that Luka provoked the brother (something we saw him do a lot, even in VIVINOS community tabs, where Luka provokes him, he bites back and Hyuna is there to punish her brother ig?), probably fought and then hyuna stepped in and pushed the brother, and so he bumped his head on the rock. It really would not make sense for Luka to be in a fetal position bleeding. BUT HYUNA is in the perfect position to have pushed Hyun woo onto the rock! She’s literally right infront of him!! Not to mention the way Hyuna looked in this moment always striked me as weird. Like while she looks shocked, she also looks uncomfortable and almost guilty... (Yeah, im a luka fan)
Also going off of what you said Luka looks smaller than most of the kids in the garden. He was already not the most healthy so Hyuna could have seen her brother hitting him as something he shouldn't be doing since Luka was already weak and so she tried to stop him which killed him. When Luka is seen smiling It's because Hyuna defended him from her brother whom he knows she loves dearly so when he looks up and stops smiling I feel like he's looking at Hyuna's dead brother, not his fingers like everyone claims. He's been sick for as long as he can remember so why would seeing his fingers turn blue be something new? In the earlier shots his skin is slightly blue so wouldn't it be more possible for him to be more surprised that Hyuna killed her brother? rather than his illness acting up?

Ivan looks back at the score board when doing this . Which in my mind indicates Ivan prepared for the worse case scenario. If everything fell apart and Till stopped singing , Ivan's other option I think was to give his life to Till. I think not singing is a death wish . And I believe Ivan knew this. Ivan planned on helping Till and saving him. Ivan most likely initially planned for them to escape together again but when everything went down hill, Ivan saw there was no other choice but sacrifice himself. I think the kiss was genuine though from Ivan's part. I think Ivan wanted his feelings to reach Till. Even though it's selfish, I understand why .

I have a theory that Hyuna killed her brother accidentally? My theory has more depth but to sum it up, argument (considering we knew how Luka was more frail with his sickly appearance, Hyuna was on his side.) Accidental push which is why Hyuna looked more horrified, but not towards Luka? She didn’t have a hostile hold against Luka necessarily at the end of round 5. Luka looked thrilled by what Hyuna “did for him” (if my theory is correct). I read online that someone said during a stream it was confirmed Luka’s hand condition allowed him to control his heart rate? That could explain why his hand was fading purple during the clip-to control his heart rate from ecstasy he felt once he saw the actions done by Hyuna “for him”
When you talked about E-net it really made me think of a manhwa/novel called debut or die. There's also a Tnet survival show company like that. Damn, now I know where the roots are.
I saw a theory that Luca was actually trying to get Mizi to fight him so she could be taken and escape. I highly doubt he would need to use manipulation to win, especially since he was a past winner of ALNST and had a huge fanbase. You can also see that Mizi doesn't sing or is struggling to, which could be because she wants to lose and die to be with her lover, Sua. I think he riles her up to get her to fight and live to get her to be saved by Hyuna. This is basically the lines of someone elses theory, but I thought it was a really interesting one.
Ivan isn't sadistic just REALLY obsessive, him being happy while they were fighting was him being happy till was giving him any sort of attention, if you notice in all of the shots even tho ivan is right next to till, till pretty much never is paying attention to him. I think ivan also tried to break them out on his song but Till went back, bascially rejection.
I think Ivan may be alive (half in denial and half seriously xd) I have several reasons, first with something that I think is strange and that is that it is the first time they show us the body of the loser, with Sua for example they only showed us the pool of blood, not his body as clearly as Ivan's or anything with the rest, they never showed us the loser's body so clearly. Another thing was the shots. Why not kill Ivan with a shot to the head and shoot him as many times? Ivan also seems to be important to the aliens. On another note, it seems like Till is crying in the final scene, if you look closely there seem to be larger drops falling on his shoes so they don't seem to be raindrops.

I have a theory that Hyuna killed her brother accidentally? My theory has more depth but to sum it up, argument (considering we knew how Luka was more frail with his sickly appearance, Hyuna was on his side.) Accidental push which is why Hyuna looked more horrified, but not towards Luka? She didn’t have a hostile hold against Luka necessarily at the end of round 5. Luka looked thrilled by what Hyuna “did for him” (if my theory is correct). I read online that someone said during a stream it was confirmed Luka’s hand condition allowed him to control his heart rate? That could explain why his hand was fading purple during the clip-to control his heart rate from ecstasy he felt once he saw the actions done by Hyuna “for him”

When you talked about E-net it really made me think of a manhwa/novel called debut or die. There's also a Tnet survival show company like that. Damn, now I know where the roots are.
I saw a theory that Luca was actually trying to get Mizi to fight him so she could be taken and escape. I highly doubt he would need to use manipulation to win, especially since he was a past winner of ALNST and had a huge fanbase. You can also see that Mizi doesn't sing or is struggling to, which could be because she wants to lose and die to be with her lover, Sua. I think he riles her up to get her to fight and live to get her to be saved by Hyuna. This is basically the lines of someone elses theory, but I thought it was a really interesting one.

Ivan isn't sadistic just REALLY obsessive, him being happy while they were fighting was him being happy till was giving him any sort of attention, if you notice in all of the shots even tho ivan is right next to till, till pretty much never is paying attention to him. I think ivan also tried to break them out on his song but Till went back, bascially rejection.
I think Ivan may be alive (half in denial and half seriously xd) I have several reasons, first with something that I think is strange and that is that it is the first time they show us the body of the loser, with Sua for example they only showed us the pool of blood, not his body as clearly as Ivan's or anything with the rest, they never showed us the loser's body so clearly. Another thing was the shots. Why not kill Ivan with a shot to the head and shoot him as many times? Ivan also seems to be important to the aliens.
On another note, it seems like Till is crying in the final scene, if you look closely there seem to be larger drops falling on his shoes so they don't seem to be raindrops.
